were fine, solid. my wall needed patching afterwards & the electrician gave me a name/number of a guy with whom i made an appointment, BUT that guy never showed, had the "full voicemail" notification on his mobile, then only called me a few days later. that's a knock against the overall experience of course.

"Nick was incredibly professional from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive to my emails and questions and gave his honest opinions about what would look and work best in my home. He was always on time and left the work space as he found it. He always asked upon leaving if there was anything else he could help with. Nick was very friendly and even took the time to explain to me what he was doing as I was interested in how the lighting worked. He got the job done in a timely manner. I would highly recommend his team to anyone who is in need of his services. I have in fact recommended him already to friends. This is the second time we used Lumious electrics. The first time they assisted us in setting up our living room speaker system and we love it and have not had an issue since! We will continue to use this company for any electrical work going forward.

"we had an old but damaged light switch for the cellar.

replaced the switch. They also replaced a damaged electric outlet. The came as arranged, did the work quickly and efficiently, and charged what they said they would. Everything went well.

"First floor-Nothing had been updated since the 1950's. Maybe just the paint. I discussed all the details with
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
. This included sanding the entire interior (walls and ceiling) , skim coating, priming and painting. New oak plank flooring and sub-flooring in all rooms. Replacement of light fixtures, windows, doors/frames, new cabinets and bathroom fixtures. We kept the living room main pocket door but in favor of functionality and light we replaced two pocket with french doors. A new kitchen and bath was completely guted and both turned out beautiful,
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
had some good ideas from his experience therefore no architech was needed. Also put a door in kitchen to access back yard.

contacts for tile, cabinets, windows , air conditioning and electrical were great, all delivered end result.

Garden level-This was all original and never kept up. The walls were crumbling lathe, the ceiling falling and the floor was dirt. It was dark, dangerous and still had a coal bin storage.
We wanted a finished basement with minimal or no partitions. As green as possible and energy efficient.
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
is a good listener. After which he will offer his solutions and ideas. Always in our interest. His esthetics are very much in line with his knowledge of Brooklyn.
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
communicates 24X7, I could get him anytime and he kept us up to date daily on what work would be done.
Also was very sensitive to our third floor tenants when having to shut off power or water.
There were some surprises as they did the work,
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
stepped up and did not charge us additional during those surprises.
I will say I felt safe with the crew,
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
always had a head lead with his guys when on site and he would also stop by to see progress.
The crew cleans up every night when they leave. They also ride together in the morning and all show up at same time. This piece is critical as I felt it eliminated crew no shows.
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
treats his crew well and with respect, this flows down to the end result and treatment to us as clients.
I would highly recommend
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
and his team and we plan to utilize his services when we do the out door concrete and back yard work.
There is a lot pride in his work and delivery, their goal is to deliver with a happy satisfied customer !
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
price was very competitive to other quotes we received, not the lowest but not the highest. I feel we got all the return and value on our investment with this organization!

"This was my first time using
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
and I chose them because of the generally good reviews on Angie's List. The repair issue was a malfunctioning circuit breaker that kept tripping. When I made the appointment, I described the problem and told them that I suspected the breaker would need to be replaced. The technician arrived on time and took about 10 minutes to check out the problem. He confirmed it was the breaker and then advised that he would need to get materials for the repair. He then left for around 45 minutes to go to Lowes to buy a standard breaker. The actual repair on his return took another 10 or 15 minutes for swapping out the breaker and checking the work. In total I was charged for about 1.5 hours of labor and about $15 for materials.
I give
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
high
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
with respect to responsiveness when scheduling the appointment, and punctuality and professionalism for the technician who responded. This wasn't a highly technical job - basically switching out the breaker, but I'm sure the quality is also fine as we've had no further issues. Where I was disappointed however, was with respect to billing. Having told them that the issue was a breaker, I don't understand why this item wouldn't be stocked on the truck - a standard circuit breaker isn't exactly an exotic electrical material. Charging for the technician to drive to Lowes seems like a way of driving up the bill on a small job. Also, the actual cost for the breaker on the Lowes website is only about $6 so there was a more 200% markup there too.
I get that service providers have to charge disproportionately more for these types of small jobs, particularly given the hassles of driving and parking in Brooklyn. Given this and
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
's billing rates, I would have had no objections to a bill closer to $125 even though the total job time was around 30 minutes. Being charged for driving time to purchase an item they should have come with and being upcharged that much on the materials doesn't seem entirely customer friendly.
I manage 14 rental apartments and am currently developing a mixed use property. I am always in need of an electrician for small repairs and the occasional gut renovation of an individual apartment. I am also in the process of looking for a good and reasonably priced licensed electrician to bid on the much larger development project. For me, this small repair was a first step toward considering
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
for this work in the future. While it wasn't an entirely negative experience, it wasn't entirely positive either, such that I'm going to keep looking. I am also going to be more wary of providers that charge based on time rather than job content as this leaves the customer vulnerable to over-charging.

"I called on Thursday afternoon and left a message.
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
, the owner, called back within 2 hours and we spoke about the work I needed done. He quoted me a price over the phone that I felt was reasonable ($250). He said that he could have someone there the next day after 12 pm. but that he would call and given us a 1 hour notice when they were on their way. He called us the next day around 10 and said that if we wanted, he could send someone a bit earlier, around 11, but if that wasn't convenient they could come at the pre-arranged time. We agreed to have him come at 11.
The electrician, also named
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
(no relation) arrived on time and I showed him the two fixtures to be replaced. Before opening up the fixtures, he explained that if the ceiling fan boxes was old, they might need to be changed. He indicated that this was a safety issue. However, both of the boxes turned out to be the correct, modern type so he didn't need to change them. While completing the job he was pleasant and friendly and answered all of my questions.
I thought he did a great job of installing both of the fixtures. There was a bit of a glitch with the remote controls. Since the 2 fans were the same make and model, the same remote turned on both fixtures. After some adjustments of the codes on the remotes and the fan, he was able to set them up so they worked correctly. He cleaned up the area well. The price he quoted was the price I paid. I was very pleased with the work. I would use them again and would also recommend them to my friends.

"I called and left a message. They got back to me in minutes, set a time to come and said they'd call to confirm. Later they said they were ahead of schedule and could they come earlier. But I'd already re-arranged my schedule, and they said, No problem, they'd keep the original
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
. They did. An electrician and a helper came out. I described the problem, they traced the problem (it wasn't obvious to me, but it was to them) and corrected it. There was some work that had been done by the contractor who renovated the house that I'd thought was substandard, and the specific problem I had
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
correct was almost certainly dur to that. So they cleaned up some of the other deficient work during the time they were here.

Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
showed up on time and kept to his promised budget and timetable. This was particularly important to use because we had a tight time frame as we had a separate contractor who was relying on Pioneer’s electrical work to do the rest of the bathroom remodel.
To do the work we needed,
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
had to break holes in the walls and ceiling. We were worried about how this would go because we have original plaster walls and ceilings in our apartment which was built in 1923. Before the job several contractors had warned us that this would be a difficult task and would likely end up with cracked walls. We were amazed by
Brooklyn Electricians Provider Name Locked
's craftsmanship! The holes were so small given the job he had to do and he was able to run the cable across our 12 foot celing by opening only two small holes on either side of the room! Even the contractor who was doing the bathroom remodel for us was impressed. He lsaid, “Your electrician did a great job. There isn’t much patch work to do.” This allowed the rest of the work to happen quicker. We’re very pleased with his work and recommend Pioneer highly to anywone in need of an electrician.
