First of all, they have two indoor play areas and multiple outdoor play areas, this I have found is a rare thing in the west side of the metro. When it's nice they take the kids for a walk around the block, which I think is fabulous so the kids get exposed to so many 'wonders' like big trucks, leaves falling from trees, birds flying and airplanes. The administration is hands down fabulous. They can tell that I have trouble leaving my son every day so some times I get a quick little note e-mail saying thinks like "mom, I wanted to tell you I'm having fun today". Which may seem like nothing but it really does help and I can't really put a price on that.
The teachers in each class are so caring and knowledgeable. It really feels like they care about your child. When I walk through the halls even the teachers that don't have my son yet know his name, which really makes me think that the whole place is trying above and beyond to know my child. I would love to be with him 24/7 and work full time but of course that can't happen and this place makes it possible for me not to fret about him all day. They have healthy meals, fun activities, in center field trips for the little guys and actual field trips when they are older. It would help if they were open a bit earlier but I have adjusted my schedule to accommodate theirs and it has worked well.
I like the teachers, I like the staff, I like the other kids that attend, it's a great over all place.
Oh and they do the county child development checks to make sure your child is on track or prompts you where they need extra attention or evaluation by a professional. It would be best of the best if they did daily notes detailing what your child did during the day so you can feel a part of the child's day but really I'd rather they spend that time focused on my child so I've gotten over that. Thank you HELC for your over the top wonderfulness.

is a gem in
! My husband and I toured the center in mid-June of this year (2014) and immediately knew that this was a place to which we could entrust our daughter's care (our daughter is 11 months old). The rooms and public areas are very clean (sparkling) with hand sanitizing and cleaning materials easily accessible to adults. They provide age-appropriate food (local, mostly organic, non-GMO, no-hormone) with a nicely varied menu. As a Spanish immersion daycare, they teach the kids Spanish (there's a weekly curriculum posted for each room), in addition to sign language. They also provide cloth diapers for use at the center. They will mix formula for your infant as long as you bring the formula. My daughter wasn't drinking much formula while she was there, so her teacher worked with me to troubleshoot the problem -- turns out she preferred the bottles I use at home (so they let me bring those in and leave them there for her use whenever she's there), so now she's taking it just fine. They are sooooo good with the kids, and I can tell that this is not just another job for any of them. They care, tremendously. I get a report card each day, detailing not food eaten, formula/breast milk taken, naps (duration and time), number of diapers and their...contents, activities in which she participated, and how she did, in general. They teach/reinforce manners and social skills...they're wonderful at

We have been so happy with everything! The facility itself is clean, well organized and fun for the kids and all of the staff are professional and so loving to my children. I feel so lucky to have found such a wonderful place for the kids to go every day and the cost is very reasonable! Love, love LOVE

After check in, my 3 yr old child was taken back to his class with the other children his age, where he spent his time learning, and playing through out the day.
He said he had fun, playing with other kids, and liked when he had his snack. He was learning about shapes and colors that day, and wanted to be sure he went the next day so that he could continue coloring the shapes, and working with his teacher.
I like the quality of care that my son receives at this facility, he likes to be picked up by their bus in the morning, and sometimes goes home on it as well if I have to work later.
It is always hard to find a place that isn't just a franchise stamped out place that actually cares about your child, and is willing to work with them in an educational sense.
The staff work hard to ensure that every day is a great day for my son.

They did a great birthday party for our twins. We won a raffle for an

birthday party at a PTA event, and the folks there were very helpful when I arranged to have the party for our twins. I was impressed with how well the entire party went. Even the most reluctant kids were drawn into the activities - a mixture of a

introduction to some karate moves and various fun active games. They had the timing just right with a break for cake in the middle and ending with time for opening gifts at the end. All I
had to do was provide decorations and refreshments (cake, drinks, plates, cups etc) and the kids had a great time.

We enrolled our daughter full time in
Brooklyn Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
(Gayley St, Media PA) because it was closer to home, a good price and we had heard some good word of mouth reviews. Our first morning dropping our daughter off, the "teacher" was not that engaging and we had to ask some probing questions to understand the routine. When picking her up that day we got a standard written report but not much verbal communication, different teacher in the afternoon than in the morning. The overall sense that we got from the staff that this was just a job -indifferent and not endearing. Our daughter has food allergies and it was difficult coordinating with their nutritionist who was offsite.
Also, she was pretty disheveled (even for a 15 month old) when picking her up, i.e. sticky face, nose not wiped, etc.
First day she came home with a diaper rash, this has happened from time to time at her previous daycare - but on her first day? We said something to the director, but it continued. On Thursday (the fourth day of her tenure), I could hear her cry as soon as I entered the building, she was standing by the door. The teacher onsite - one of the many I met in 4 afternoon pickups said that she just started crying but didn't know why. I checked her diaper when I got home and immediately spotted feces on the outside of her labia, she also had feces packed in her labia. She was shaking and cried for about two hours, a yeast infection followed. We contacted the director to notify her and pulled her out immediately. The director was apologetic and sympathetic.
The price is good for the area, however it seems like a mass production. Like the

's on the opposite corner - expect a low price, no frills, with part-time workers who are trying to make a buck and get off their shift. I don't typically write reviews, but thought this may help other parents. Perhaps other classrooms are bettered staffed, the infant room seemed to have engaging teachers, but after 4 days it was clear that it wasn't going to work for us in their young toddler room.

We have been using Mosaic to help our son become more comfortable with others, learning more than my wife and I can teach him, and getting him used to dealing with older and younger kids as we were expecting child #2. Now that our second baby has come, our son does not hit her as he did with other kids a couple of months ago. He is challenged and his vocabulary and interest in learning has taken off. Mosaic recently received an early childhood education accreditation making the program one of the few in the area with this national program recognition. The instructors are very good and have developed a personal relationship with our son and he really enjoys going to school now.

My husband and I called this facility on 3 separate days and never received a call back even though we were assured that someone would call us back. We also emailed the facility to try and get someone but to no avail. If there were no current openings we would have just appreciated a call just to let us know.

My wife and I loved the experience as a
Brooklyn Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
parent at the Bellevue location.
PROS: Our daughter loved her teachers, Ms
Brooklyn Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
and
Brooklyn Childcare Centers Provider Name Locked
. We had to leave the school due to a local move that made the daily commute too onerous. Definitely a cut above the other above-average (cost) preschools in greater Bellevue area. I was also impressed by the low staff turnover and dedicated owners. The front office staff were just as dedicated/skilled as the teachers. Very happy that the school didn't rely on interns/current students to assist in the classrooms -- our other kid went to a very pricey kindergarden near CCA during this time and she was plagued by staff/teacher turnover in the support staff and teachers. Yummy school lunches (or so I was told). Parents at CCA were for the most part very nice and down-to-earth, at least by Eastside standards.
CONS: Student body is not particularly diverse. Most of the parents are Microsoft employees so you can feel like an outlier if you don't work for MSFT.
CCA does not advertise and rely on WOM. Also, during our short tenure, I had the impression that the Bellevue and

locations were a cut-above

location. Your experience may vary in the future, however. We have no experience with their new campus for elementary grade students.
Overall, two enthusiastic thumbs-up.
