"We had previously used them in the past and they did a great job. The whole process took about ten weeks from start to finish while working around the installers" of the countertops. They were there every day. They did a nice job with clean up. Any issues we have had they have followed up on. They are real good with that.
is the owner. He is very good about checking to ensure you are happy with everything,
was the main crew who installed most of the work from the cabinets, tile, and appliances. Overall, they did a great job and we are happy with the work.

"we've used
's services numerous times, and we've never been disappointed. He always answers his phone when we call, he does" excellent work, and his prices are incredibly reasonable. In fact, one of the best aspects of
's service is that he charges a flat hourly rate for smaller handyman-type jobs.

Carpentry/woodworking

Finish carpenters can design, build and install woodwork structures in your house to enhance the quality and adorn the attractive appearance of your home. There carpenters can complete several different jobs for new homes or remodeling of an existing house.

Baseboards and molding

Baseboards and molding serve a practical function -- covering up the space where walls and floors join, as well as protecting the wall from scuffs and dents. But they also provide a decorating opportunity.

You need a general contractor - prefereably one who specializes in additions, because you have excavation, waterproofing, concrete, concrete cutting, carpentry, door and window, etc trades to coordinate.

The cost will depend a great deal on your topography around the house - if the base of the window will be above ground level at least 6 inches, then could run about $500 for a legal egress window purchase and about $1000-2000 for installation, depending on how deep into the concrete you have to cut.

If the bottom of the window will be below ground level, then to call it a bedroom (which mandates legal sized second egress and usauully at least one window)  then you will have two choices - bring it out into a solid watertight concrete storm cellar with collar to keep water out, stairs, and and weather and bug-tight cellar door that is inward-opening, which means a lot of space for stairs and landings top and bottom, or bring it out into an oversized window well at least 36 inches in diameter, and with steps to ground level, with adequate drainage and waterproofing to keep it dry. Either way, sometimes about as easy to put in an outside door as a window, and might raise property value more. Cost from $2-5,000 depending on how deep into concrete wall you have to dig, whether concrete wsall needs reinforcing with steel frame because of the depth of cut, how easy the digging is, and what your water conditions are near the foundation. The last thing you want to do is create an easy water or vermin ingress with your egress.

Dictated by Federal LAW , you will need a Licensed and EPA Certified HVAC Contractor

to make such repairs . In fact , by law , ONLY A licenesed HVAC contractor can buy or install

said eguipment , NOT A handyman nor general contractor !

YES , You should have an A.C. sleeve surrounding the through the wall unit . These sleeves will usually accompany NEW products , either as a package or an add on equipment purchase.

Contact a Licenesed PROFFESSIONAL at once !

It depends on what type of ramp you need. If it is built out of wood you could look for a carpenter or a deck company. If you are looking for a concrete ramp a mason would be what you are looking for. There are also metal ramps and I believe some medical supply companies may carry them or be able to steer you in the right direction. As for insurance coverage I am not sure. You may have coverage and would be best talking to your agent. Depending on why you need this ramp there may even be programs through your local government or even some of the local charities might help. It might be a project a local Scout Troop might help out on.

The additional costs were very reasonable. The job was completed in less than a week between periods of rainy days. Cleanup was perfect. They are extremely professional. I felt that they went the extra mile in everything. It was so well done, much more than with your average painters. They really went out of their way to cover everything and ensure it was done right the first time. My experience with them was great! I have already used them three more times since this job.

They sent an employee who worked very hard. I had to pay him overtime to finish. Everything was done very well. I would use them in the future. They were very skilled and knew what to do. He knew how to put everything together and he was very polite.

My wife wanted trim installed and didn't want the regular home depot stuff. I had used
Binghamton Carpenters Provider Name Locked
in the fall for interior painting so I gave the owner a call. I told him I wanted to install crown moulding in some rooms to really bring the place together.
He quickly jumped on getting us a sample catalog and shipped us a handful of sample pieces that we chose. We ended up with a nice sized piece of crown.

and an apprentice installed the crown. To be honest, just like his painting this guy can make any room look like a luxury hotel. You really have to look to find the seams anywhere. Great work again. Definitely get in line - we had to book a month in advance even in the winter. Well worth the wait and price was reasonable.

was very responsive throughout the entire project. He always answered my phone calls or called back within a reasonable amount of time which is key when dealing with any contractor. There was one of the 7 doors which required custom framing as the existing hole was too large for a standard sized door.

was able to reframe for a negligible added cost. The new hallway is impeccable and we will be using them in the future.

The windows (34) of them were ordered before we went on vacation so that they could be installed before the siding . The insulation that they used was the standard tri-fold 1/4 inch. It was taped at the joints, but is not the best way to insulate an old house. This is not what I wanted to do, but was convinced that this would be just as good, with out taking off the old cedar shingles. If I was going to do this again, I would have taken off the old siding, and had blowing insulation installed in the walls. In two rooms, the old windows were removed and new windows were installed. The first room, an upstairs bedroom, the windows fewer miss measured based on two windows of the room. The other six windows were 62 inches long, not 56 inches, which would require that the six windows have to be re ordered. Another delay that we did not want to happen, so the decision was made to take out the sill and re frame in the windows. Well, their framing would not meet any building code that I know of, but the windows were installed. Again, the frames are not square, and the interior side of the windows had gaps of a 1/2 an inch to an inch across the top of the window. This was just covered up and caulked to fill in the wholes. Will have to be taken out an corrected next summer, so that the actual frames can be made for each window. To make this a great job, the contractor would have to show up by eight in the morning, and work for eight hours a day, instead, they averaged only five hours a day in good weather, as fall came and went, the time spent on the job also went down. By the end of this project, it was luck if they worked one day a week in actual hours. This was the longest six months, and the work is still not completed. If I would do this over, I would put into the contracts deadline date, where for each day over, they start paying me a percentage. This gives them an incentive to get it done, and peace of mind that it will get done on time. Other wise, they can just string you along as it takes, and your stuck with a bad contractor. When we got into the end of October, we asked for someone to come over and finish the project, but he told us no one wanted to do it. It was just too much cutting and too many

The morning of the original day of service, the temp was in the 20's. Provider was to be here at 8:00 am. I called at 8:15, to see if it was too cold. No answer. I called again at 9:45, no answer. Then

Binghamton Carpenters Provider Name Locked
