AFTER giving them my credit card number on the phone, they told me "someone would contact you in 7 days to arrange to meet you and do a walk through of your yard". It's been 8 days now, nobody has emailed or called. Did I mention they already billed me for ALL 6 services 7 days ago??
Frustrated, I called thier customer service line today. After listening to approximately 4 minutes of pre-recorded sales pitch it hung up on me. Tried again, I called, same exact thing. Thier ONLY customer service line hung up on me. Twice. Never got anyone to even pick up from the pre-recorded sales pitch. I emailed them, no response.
That neat 10% off coupon you get in the mail? Toss it!!! TERRIBLE customer service, did not keep thier word.
They started the landscaping when they said they would. There were between 3-5 workers in our yard most of the day for over a week. We were impressed with how much work they were getting done.
Then, nobody showed up.... for more than a couple weeks. Our yard was untouched. We called the landscaper at least twice and were told that a "high priority" job out of town was being worked on, and when they were done they would finish our yard. Great...
They did come back and finish the job. Visually the yard looked great that whole summer. They filled up our fertilizer tank, that they installed, on a regular basis, but charged quite a bit. Evenutally we cancelled the service, feeling the charge was excessive. But, they kept charging us. After we had already cancelled, they charged us again. We called and spoke to the receptionist lady and she assured us that she had told them we had cancelled. They again charged us another month. We called again, this time asking for a letter confirming they understood we had cancelled service. This time we got the confirmation, and they stopped charging us.
Once winter hit, we tried to "winterize" our irrigation system and found that there were five shut off valves NOT LABELED. Additionally, after that winter, drainage through our yard was horrible. We had flooding up to two inches in our grass. At the valve box, there was about two inches of standing water as well.
Of the 8 trees they planted, two of the pine trees died. We asked them to replace the trees, because it had not even been a year. The landscaper that was so friendly before, informed us that the trees died due to "beetles" and that was not thier fault and they would not replace them. Disheartened, we had to dig the trees up ourselves. We found that the trees both had burlap sacks over the root balls still, in addition to being planted in re-used top soil. No wonder they both died. Two other trees they planted died. Three of the other trees they planted have struggled to stay alive, and have years later BARELY grown at all.
We have had irrigation system problem after problem. We had to replace the sod in one area, and found the drain was duct taped in a way that had been causing all the flooding. Duct tape! In another area we had to replace the sod, we found a flattened plastic bottle that they had just rolled the sod over apparently.
Their pricing seemed great... but years later we know we didn't really get a deal.
We think we're the best, and we can prove it.
