Honestly the guy came out. He was nice enough. He was not able to really come up with a plan. Seemed very limited in his thinking/scope. I am not even sure we got anything from this company in the end. I ended up calling a kitchen designer to come and provide actual drawings...

it was a pleasure to work with them from our initial in house consult to completion.

arrived at my house for the consult totally prepared with samples and quickly helped me articulate my vision. Their added suggestions were much appreciated and put the cherry on the top of the finished product. They arrived as planned to remove two cabinet doors to finish for color approval( butter cream and black for the island) We were very happy with the color so they arrived the following week to work in house. Not a problem because they were insistent that quality over speed was important. Having said that they put in extra long days to not be but a day or two over. we love our finished kitchen!

I had a rush job and they pulled it off. Good communication, on time and for the price quoted. Cabinets looked like new after they completed the job. My realtor remarked on the quality finish. I would recommend them.

Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
is a
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
owned subsidiary of Home Depot. The original sales/appointment is done through Home Depot (or should I say, it appears to be Home Depot). I arranged for an in-home salesperson to come visit me in May 2014. That was a great visit, but keep in mind that they do emphasize how large Home Depot is (so they can't walk away from the job or any quality issue, and the fact that there is a Home Depot in just about every down in the area) during the sales pitch. Also, I want to emphasize that I contracted them for a kitchen reface, new kitchen countertops and 2 different backsplashes, all a part of the same sale.
A measurement person came out to carefully measure where things were going. All is still ok at this point.
I'll try to keep this as brief as possible, so will leave out a few details. When it came to scheduling, I found that: (1) no one ever seemed to pick up the phone. I played voice mail phone tag quite a bit. (2) The person you are scheduling with may not be your project manager. I was given less than a day to reply to a scheduled start day of 6/23. By the time I said "ok", I was told that time slot had already been given away. Then I was told I wasn't really dealing with my actual project manager, and that the substitute was filling in and doing his best and that although I was told 6/23 wouldn't work, they'll get someone here that week.
I started to see the name "
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
" pop up starting in my reminder e-mail sent a few days before the job. I didn't realize
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was the name of the group actually doing the work. After another contact with the staff, I was given the name and some background of the installer. I felt better.
The installation went fine. The person they sent was professional and punctual. He had a few years doing this for this firm which was very important to me.
A second minor issue came up after the counter was installed. No one bothered to secure the top of the dishwasher to the bottom of the new counter. Another phone call, another visit by those installers, and we were fine.
The third issue ended up being major. It was a nightmare and another reason I wouldn't choose the Home Depot route/
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. I still needed a two backsplash installations. Again, I wasn't told exactly who was doing this. I scheduled the work through my project manager (Home Depot/
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
), but it ended up being a sub-contractor by the name of Crew2. Here are my beefs with this:
Three missed appointment days, the first of which someone stayed home from work. No one organizing the work (Home Depot/
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
) cared one iota if someone from Crew2 showed up or not. They scheduled it and seemingly washed their hands of the job and the project after that. (They even officially "closed" my project). As the customer, we actually had to track someone down there to ask them why no one had arrived. Finally, we got the "no one is coming after all" message. We were upset to say the least.
Try #2 was on a Saturday after I insisted we would not be taking more time off of work to meet someone (they had their
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
). We received calls from Crew2 stating they were on their way, but had to find the backsplash at one of the stores. Another call a few hours later...they couldn't find the tile. At 3pm, they finally found the tile, but obviously would not be starting that day. Sunday morning was the new start time.
Sunday at 8:20am, I received a call stating they were in the store picking up the tile. At 9:30am, I received a call that there was an emergency last night and the installer was not coming. So now I'm being lied to. We set up a 4th day.
The installer showed up 30 minutes late on the 4th day. He knew nothing about 2 rooms of backsplash and only had the kitchen backsplash with him. When he started bringing it in, it was actually the bathroom backsplash he had. He installed it and it looked great. In the meantime, I am now talking constantly with some director/VP type person at Crew2 about this situation. He is sending someone from the shop to pick up my kitchen tile from the store and deliver it to my house for the installer to start on. The installer left my house never having any inclination to stay even after my explanation. 10 minutes later the tile shows up. The deliverer is surprised the installer is gone.
I look at the tile after everyone is gone. It is not the same tile I saw in my home when I ordered everything. The name of the tile is right, but its appearance is not right. I hate it. I do a web
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and find that tile installed in places that looks just like what I saw from the original sales lady. I also see some installations that look like what the tile now sitting in my garage looks like. Looks like they've got some extreme lot-to-lot variation on their hands (another huge negative...you don't know if what you agreed to buy is what is going to show up at your house).
So finally, I send a long e-mail to Home Depot/
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. I sent it to my project manager (who never returns any of my calls when the backsplash installer doesn't arrive), the customer service rep, and a name I have found who seems to be a person a little higher up in the chain. Bingo. Finally someone cares. I'm told: pick out a tile at the store, pick a date, we'll make sure it gets done. I do this. It does get done. The same installer shows up again (I said to him "told you there was still the kitchen to do") and he installs the kitchen backsplash. The job isn't great (the bathroom was good, but this particular tile has some gaps when you can even see the mesh underneath it still sticking out), but it's finally done.
So all-in-all, poor communication. They don't keep you informed about anything.
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
doesn't give a crap about anything they sub-contract out. No one bothers to call you the night before to remind you someone is coming (and when you hunt them down to make 100% sure, they say "yes, someone's coming" only to find out no one showed up after all). Even when things aren't right and you bring it to their attention, things then get strangely quiet and all communication stops. And they decide which parts of the project they want to actually be in charge of and when they are going to let you deal with the subcontractors yourself. From the sale itself (5/13/14) until the final backsplash was put in (early Sept 2014), the duration was nearly 3 1/2 months.
I do not recommend going the Home Depot/
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
route.

We called and spoke with
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
, our initial thought was we needed to replace our floors.
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
arrived on time for our appt, he explained our floors had many years left and with the right finish we could get several more years. We saved allot of money not having to replace our floors, and they look amazing! As promised
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was one who did the work, he walked us through the process and stayed on schedule which made it so easy for me to schedule around the work being done. My expectations were exceeded, I wish I had called sooner! I have
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
coming back to paint my living and dining rooms before the holidays and will use them for future projects. We highly recommend his company!

Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
came to our house with several different samples of the products that he had available, assisted with the design and explained in detail what he was capable of doing for us. It took about 4 weeks for the delivery of the material from the factory and took just less than 3 day to completer. His installer
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was very professional and had all of the new equipment to perform cabinet installation. All of the installation is flawless and in perfect alignment. When completed we have a kitchen that you would find in high end models instead of the contractor grade cabinets that were initially installed in our house. I can recommend
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
to any one who wants to have a quality job done at a reasonable price.

They did a very good job. The workers were very friendly and knew what they were doing.
Our cabs went from a cherry wood grain (not the color cherry - just the cherry wood - varied colors of wood) to bright white.
Looks great and there are no flaws.
I am waiting for a call back as we need a few touch ups (we dinged a door). They are very busy and tend to take time to respond. If you are in a hurry, it probably will take more follow up on your part. But i would refer them and we would use them again if we ever needed

Absolutely great service. In fact, upon re-installing,
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
looked at a couple of the cabinet doors and felt they were too dark-he took them back to the shop and re-did them. Additionally, we added a few things after the original job and
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
was able to add us to their schedule again. Everything matched perfectly and our kitchen looks brand new-a huge improvement! This is a much cheaper alternative to new cabinets and there was no dust and very little, short-term smell.

I contacted
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
with
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and 2 other Angies List kitchen designers for interviews. I was immediately sold on
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
after meeting with
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
. He wasn't the least expensive, but by far, he inspired the most confidence. He listened patiently to my wants and needs, what I disliked about my kitchen and laundry room and suggested some design ideas that really addressed some problems. At our 2nd appointment, he went over all the details and told me what to expect and when to expect it. The work started on time and most everything went according to schedule. As with any large project like this, a little something is bound to go wrong and it did - but
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
handled it with the utmost professionalism and got the job right back on track and going smoothly. What I really like about this company is that
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
doesn't dump the job to subcontractors and just show up later to pick up the check. He was on site and working himself a lot and he when he wasn't here, he always had a handle on exactly what was going on and he really stayed in touch with me. His crew were all very professional and courteous and did a fabulous job. My new kitchen is just great. It looks so gorgeous and it's so much more functional. I would choose
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
all over again!

You would never know it was there. In fact the entire job was completed in a craftsman-like manner.
Mesquite Cabinet Refacers Provider Name Locked
and the crew were meticulous, paying attention to every detail and cleaning up after themselves throughout the process. Our renewed kitchen is amazing with a number of upgrades and elegant details.
