"Went awful, I took our 2007 Sante
in because the gas gauge was not working, they said it needed new fuel sensors. OK, we made an appointment for 6:45 am on a" Saturday since the car had to be used for work during the week. They did not have it done until 3 pm. We picked it up, gas gauge still not working. Took it in again the next Saturday at 6:45 am, the time they told us to bring it in. When I asked, didn't they check things to be sure they work before giving it back to the customer? They said NO, they stated the customers would be upset if they put gas in to check it because the "estimate" would be off & the customer would be upset if the cost was $10. higher. (It is an estimate) So does this mean they don't check the brakes on a car after they do a brake job? How can you run a company without making sure the repair has been completed? You are in the repair buisness. They suck us Veterans in saying we get a discount, what good is a discount if it does not repair the problem? I quit even talking to them, I'll eat the $350. cost as that is the sum they sold their reputation for. Why set an appointment for 6:45 am when you admit you can not get the parts until the parts store opens? When I said something to the employee that I was unhappy they did not bother to check their work before turning the car back over to me, he stated "So what do you want me to do, fire the guy?".........Real good customer service, blame the customer because you are not good at your job.

Took my minivan in for new tires. I was able to easily choose what tires they had in stock and schedule an appointment on their website. I was called shortly thereafter to confirm my appointment time.
Their prices beat everything else I could find, even online pricing. They don't nickel and dime you -- all of the mounting and balancing is included in the tire price.
Of course, this isn't a high-end shop, but they were polite, responsive, and professional.
Other than tires and inspections -- I do all my own work on my cars. At no point did I feel like these people were trying to take anyone for a ride.
I'll definitely go back here in the future.

I am late in noting this experience with Angie's List, and I apologize. The long and the short of it is that based on our family's experience,
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
appears to use poorer quality replacement brake parts than are suggested by their price, and their warranty period - particularly elapsed time - is too short to provide meaningful customer protection. My son's Ford Taurus and my Mazda Miata both developed a need for brake work in 2009. We have purchased tires from
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
in the past and generally hold the company in high regard based on those experiences.
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
replacesd calipers, rotors and pads as part of their brake jobs -- generally more new parts than would be installed by other shops, and at a generally higher price. Work was guaranteed for 25,000 miles or 3 years. Everything surrounding the transaction was satisfactory -- the jobs were completed timely, staff was courteous, the quoted price was respected. The unsatisfactory aspect of both transactions was that the parts -- calipers, in particular -- began leaking well before 25,000 miles and a year or so after the 3 year guarantee period. Bear in mind, the original parts had lasted 15 years on the Miata and 11 years on the Taurus, and

's began leaking after 4 1/2. We checked in with the
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
Blvd. store and the service manager agreed that it was too bad but offered no assistance other than another brake job. I'm sufficiently irked by the whole thing that we've found other sources for tires and have been taking the cars to another garage to have

's calipers repaired.

I had a flat tire and needed to get back on the road quickly, to work out of town. I was there when they opened (on time). They got me straight in, repaired my flat, replaced my tire and neatly replaced the donut and accessories into the

I needed a new refrigerator and searched for one that would fit in the sized space, I tried all the big box stores and they had me go online and check measurements of individual units. I went in to
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
and Appliance just because I was driving by and I told him my dilemma about the measurements. He named two models that would fit right off the top of his head and asked me to give him a few hours to see if there were any others. He found one additional one.
I ordered it and he beat the big box store price, not by much but by an hour's pay! Delivery was a day later than I would have liked, they were having employee issues, but they came when they said they would be here and set up my unit and I am thrilled with the features and especially the fit. It is the largest unit available with the measurements I needed, I would have bought a much smaller unit had I not gone in and gotten their knowledgeable and professional advice.

MY WORST BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER I called around to find a tire dealer that had the tires I wanted and could get the job done without waiting in line for hours. The NTB guy said he had tires assured me that they were not busy and the wait shouldn't take long. Based on this and a good Angie's List rating, I bought a set of tires at the NTB in Woodstock GA. This was a big mistake. Prior to the tire change the tire low pressure light indicated normal pressure (was out). When the work was done they informed me that their employee had damaged one of the tire low pressure sensors and that I would have to come back the following day to have it replaced.

The following day, Sunday,
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
6th, I was notified that they had the part and that the repair would not take long. But it did. . . over three hours. The mechanic informed me that the job was complete but the light was still illuminated. He went on to explain that this was normal and that the light would go out after I drove the car for 20 mile or so. Well, that didn't happen ... the light continued to stay on. The following day, Monday
Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
7th, day 3, I returned to NTB and told them that the light was still on. They ran some type of test and claimed that the sensor in another wheel had failed but that the failure was not their fault (just and incredible coincidence). They did however agree to replace the second sensor as a "service" but maintained that their actions had not caused the failure. I do not buy the "coincidence" explanation and do consider it "incredible", i.e., unbelievable. My family members and I have been driving vehicles with tire pressure sensors for well over 20 years and every low-pressure indication has been caused by low pressure. What are the odds that: (a) the same day I have a new set of tires installed; (b) an incompetent mechanic damages the pressure sensor on one wheel; and (c) a sensor on another wheel would fail on its own. The chances of all three events happening in the same vehicle in less than a 24 hour period would be less than a one-in-a-billion probability. Later that week I received a call from an individual who said he was conducting a survey regarding my level of satisfaction with the service I received from NTB. When I gave them very low scores (ones out of 5s) he listened to my input and thanked me for participating in the survey. A day or two later, I got another call from a gentleman who said that he was the same person who had conducted the previous survey but this time he identified himself a the NTB manager for the location where I'd bought the tires. He apologized for the problems and wanted to know what he could do to earn my repeat business. I told him that he could start by compensating me for my time and inconvenience and that the appropriate compensation would have to be much better than the free-oil-change coupon that their counter person had provided. His apology seemed sincere and he said he would look into the matter further and see what more could be done. He said he would get back to me but never did. Over the three day period I spent over 9 hours in NTB's waiting room and 2 hours transiting to/from and driving around waiting for the warning light to extinguish. I've spent over an hour on the phone and writing this and other reviews. The offer of a free oil change has only added insult to injury.

Dayton Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
has been servicing my SUV for a few years now. They have installed new tires and brakes, replaced worn out parts, aligned, rotated and balanced. Not to mention the many times they have come to my rescue in my seemingly never ending battle with various types of nails. The best part of all - these services have been performed in my driveway. It doesn't

I use this garage as my go-to garage for oil changes, tire replacements, and other issues where they are less expensive than the dealer. The oil changes are always prompt, within the timeframe they give me, and I never have issues after leaving the garage.
I had a recent issue with a light-problem, and just stopped by without an appointment and asked for help. They were quick to help, and after looking at the car for 10 minutes they fixed the issue and didn't charge me (parking light was stuck). I would highly recommend them as I appreciate they don't upsell you services, especially when you drive an older vehicle.
