"My wife absolutely loves these people. The doctor and his staff are excellent. They're just wonderful people, and the doctor is the best. I couldn't say enough good things about them.

"I have been seeing him for about 10 years. The one thing I don't like about him, is that he is always late. Last time he was 40 minutes late for the colonoscopy." I had to be there at 7:00 and he was 40 minutes late. The nurses say he is always like that. He is okay. Most of the times when I go see him, it takes me at least half an hour, and one time I waited an hour and half. He just schedules too many in one day. He tries to do too much in one day.

He's excellent at what he does and is a great doctor. His bedside manner is wonderful and I trust him. I typically wait 15-20 minutes to be seen when I arrive.

The office staff called to set the appointment and asked if I had diabetes, a heart valve replacement, and some other questions. At no time was I given any information or told about any possible options I had. I did tell them that I had issues with anesthesia, mainly that most have no effect on me. They told me that I would receive extra special knock out drops, as they didn't want a person with Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome and a black belt waking up on them. Probably a good choice on their part.
I received a jug of lemon flavored pond slime from my pharmacist. AFTER I had consumed the
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
of said slime I read the small letters on the side stating that it had "electrolites". It was, in fact, between 90 and 95% pure processed
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
. There rest consisted of 5% or less of the caustic agent which causes explosive diarrhea, and about 2% salt. Now, I can not name a universe in which that much processed
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
is good for any living thing.
It turns out, my pharmacist informed me, that Miralax contains the same caustic agent but no

. So instead of drinking massive quantities of pond slime it is merely necessary to take spoon fulls of the active ingredient.
The effects. While every test that drs. have thought to inflict upon me says that I have a normal metabolism, it just ain't so. I have atypical reactions to nearly everything. I did tell appointment secretary that. I do not have diabetes.
The
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
made me as high as any street drug. I was bouncing off the walls for the 4 hours it took to get the prep down.
And by the way, at no time was I given any information about what to expect. In fact, when I spoke to
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
a little bit ago, she was angry that my pharmacist had given me information and options. By `1:00 the
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
had cleared my system and my system began to collapse. 3:00 I was dying and I could no longer even drink water. By 5:00 my kidneys and entire digestive tract had failed. I called my mother, and thank goodness I did, as my husband just thought I was goldbricking. When I passed out he just walked around me and said WE should just leave me on the floor. I know, I know. My told me that I should call the Dr. I finally did, and he seemed like had far more important things to do than waist time on my concerns. In fact, what seemed to be his major concern was who had been assigned to preform the procedure. He finally said that I should go to the ER. No S***

.
I was so dehydrated that they pumped more than a
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
of fluids into my arm, and a can of pop into my head. They finally threw me out after 5 1/2 hours after I proved that my kidneys were once again functional.
The "information" that I received was mailed to me. Now, I have read
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
, and thought that was a snoozer, then I read the first hundred pages of Proust's A Life Remembered, and please, if that is great literature, spare me. The literature they sent me sent me into
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
land after 3 paragraphs. Not even Hitler could do that to me. And get this, the actual useful information didn't show up until page 5. The nurse told me that they had been having problems with people not receiving their packets. I didn't tell her that no thinking human could plow through all that drivel.
The office staff did call me 2 days out from the procedure and she talked to me like I was a retarded 3 year old. My daughter told me that after question 3 I put on my "I am talking to stupid people voice." Seriously using words like squishy and tummy. I told her that my colon felt bruised. She tried 3 times to make me tell her that I was just full of gas. I wasn't bruised tough, the caustic agent had scalded me. I had blisters in my mouth and in a 4 inch circle around my anus. A Doctor from One World Health did confirm that I was scalded from stem to stern. It is estimated that it will take 1 to 2 months to heal all of the damage. It is nearly a month out and my stomach is still very iffy.
I wrote a letter stating my dissatisfaction, and of course nobody from Midwest bothered to contact me. Apparently all they care about is the money.
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
called me back and I asked why they would pump anybody so full of
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
. Processed
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
in large quantities is not good for anybody. She tried to make me admit that this was all my fault. I asked 3 times and she would only tell me that she not understand my question and that this is what GIs prescribe and that is the gentlest solution available. Tell me, are YOU that stupid? Well, maybe that is the gentlest thing that is both caustic and causes explosive diarrhea.
is there anybody reading this that can not understand the question; "Why would you pump anybody so full of
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
?"
Midwest just wants me to pay up. That seems to be all they care about. They also did not inform me that under the Affordable Care Act that Insurance is by law requested and required to pay for all cononoscopy screenings.
Now, given the horrible results of all of this I have learned the following:
1 Start with a fecal occult blood test. If blood is detected you can move onto the unpleasant stuff. In my case, the FOBT was a false positive, Bleeding hemorrhoids will cause a false positive.
2 Do not drink the pond slime. Part of its purpose is to make you so ill that you won't want to eat. Take the Miralax. It is still the same caustic agent and you will still have blistering, but you won't be as miserable. You can add a little
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
and salt to regulate your electrolytes until your metabolism switches over to feeding on your fat stores. The
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
will just increase your misery.
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
intake is followed by your pancreas dumping insulin into your blood stream. When the
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
is metabolized you then are ravenous. Eat a cookie and see what happens.
3 Do eat breakfast. The fasting thing is just to prep you for surgery in case they puncture your intestine. The starving is still pointless unless you are one of the few that vomits from anesthesia.
4 Find a doctor that preforms this procedure in his office. You will literally save thousands.
Midwest is NOT part of Methodist. They just have the location to suck people in. I repeat, you will not get the same standard of care you have come to expect from the Methodist Hospital and affiliates.
All the negatives aside, the people were mostly pleasant to my face. The exception was the secretary in the front office who was overjoyed and ecstatic to tell me that I could not have a drink of water.

My family started the program and we all learned a lot. The kids learned to make healthy choices instead of some of the poor choices they were making. This helped to give them more energy! My husband and I learned to cook more healthy options and use ingredients we had not used in the past. When we grocery shop, we avoid certain isles altogether and focus on the isles that provide vitality and health. We both lost weight and reduced our blood pressure and cholesterol. Every time I had a session with the
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
, I gained new information I haven't had before and am able to use this in our healthier lifestyle! I am excited to have more vitality and energy!

He is a great doctor. He has been very good in helping me with acid reflux. They are all very professional. It has been one of my best operations ever. They just put you out, and when you wake up, you are fine. He has been very professional, he explains everything, takes the time and has great bedside manner.

I've been seeing Dr.
Las Cruces Gastroenterologists Provider Name Locked
for fifteen years. He's a first rate practitioner. He has excellent professional knowledge and really cares about his patients. I recommend this Dr. unreservedly. The facility is clean, well organized and staffed by friendly and knowledgeable people. They make what might be an uncomfortable procedure easy to tolerate. I wish all practices were this well run.

The problem is with his staff.
Several (but not all of them) acted like the didn't want to be there. Too many sighs before they asked a question. They aced like "do I really have to help this person". They did there job but in a condescending way. That kind of response just turns me off.
I would not recommend this doctor if he hires personnel such as this. It tells you a lot about the provider.
