"The installer performed everything as explained by our sales person. The only issue we had is he wouldn't use the email address we preferred for our account and we had to complete an extra step with customer service to get what we needed. Over all the service went very well and we are happy with our services.

"The price is not bad for the bandwidth I get; the unfortunate part is the mandatory $16 per month for basic cable, which I never watch. There is no option to get only internet access.
One time, I was lucky enough to get a representative on the phone during a trouble call that not only fixed the issue at hand quickly, but gave us a promotional rate for a year - the same one they give to all the new subscribers to get them to switch over. Makes sense to reward loyal customers as well, right?
Well, that year's gone, and we're back to the old rate, which is fine ... but now they're starting to call me up and pressure me into upgrading. I told the salesman that I wasn't at all interested in upgrading my TV service; in fact, I don't even watch the basic cable they force me to buy. He just ignored what I said and kept pitching other TV packages, which angered me. Seems
is sending telemarketers to bother their own customers. How disappointing

"This is an excellent contractor. He's skilled and uses skilled people. He's reasonably priced. And, he does things right the first time!
Highly recommended for remodels, kitchen cabinets, and general construction.

"When we first signed up for HD cable service we experienced numerous problems. Frequently selected channels would not be available; also we had ongoing problems with the sound quality on some channels. Eventually the

technical support employees were able to resolve all our issues. We haven't had any problems with our cable service in at least 6 months---and that's a long time based on past experience.
The

telephone representatives were always professional. If they couldn't solve our problem they attempted to forward us to others who could. Although telephone wait times were sometimes long, that's somewhat to be expected given the large number of local cable subscribers.

"Slow and inefficient. Had three separate technicians out before supervisor was able to get us up and working. Great effort. Poor results. Very frustrating should be able to fix issues before you leave.

"After repeatedly talking to the service/technical support and following the instructions several times, I was still unable to re-establish service or, once re-established, to keep the service from going down at random times. The service/technical support finally told me it was not their problem but was my modem. I replaced the modem, and the service shut down just as it had before I replaced the modem. The service/technical support person said he could do nothing else to help me. The interrupted service was not

"As to the service issue I made no less than 5 calls to

in a one week timeframe. We were initially told the problem was our antiquated modem and that it should be replaced. We could rent one from them for $8.00/ month. My husband checked around and we thought maybe we would get one that included wireless so as the connection issue was continuing I called back - discussed the modem issue which included the fact that I own my modem and I was told to disregard the letter (right) and we placed an order for a new modem/ wireless unit that was to arrive in 3-5 business days. I wasn't to be charged until I received and installed it. Oh, and now it was $15.00/ month. The manufacturer of these units told us that while they are amazing they couldn't guarantee they would work with

so we opted to rent this time - convinced that the issue was our slow modem. The day after ordering the new unit my service dropped again and I called back to make sure that they hadn't shut me down because there might have been confusion with the modem order...at this point I was told that there had been service issues in my area for the last week ! Imagine my delight....they then offered to reduce my bill for a year and include free cable which I declined as I have direct tv. Suddenly my internet was back up and I hadn't even replaced my modem. Which I had also never received. Upon receiving my bill I noticed I was being charged for modem rental, install fee for my new modem and some other extraneous fees. I called again and was told they would remove some of the fees but they would have to research the install kit fee. I was to receive a call back in 3-5 business days to resolve this issue. After waiting over a week I called back and I think we got everything removed. I agreed to do a survey and was to receive a call in 3-5 business days. Guess I'll be waiting for that call endlessly. If there were another option for cable in our area I would switch immediately. I use vonage for phone, direct tv for my shows and the only trouble spot is....

cable.

"Almost every service call was late; well outside the window provided. In the one case they almost arrived on time (approximately 5 minutes late), he had been parked up the street for almost an hour just sleeping in his van. We consistently found that the Internet service speed was throttled on both upload and download resulting in transfer speeds significantly lower than promised (and
billed for). Always a bump in speeds after a call/complaint and then it would slowly taper off again. Our neighbor was a sales rep for the company and didn't not experience any of the signal problems that we did. None.

"Technician arrived for a scheduled installation and could not complete installation because he needed access to neighbor's yard. The technician told me he would leave notices with the neighbors to reschedule at a convenient time for both of us. He lied and did not leave the notices with any of my neighbors. Also, could not offer me a new appointment date earlier than two weeks. Called customer service and got no help from the first representative. I was eventually connected to a manager who was able to schedule an for me the next day. The neighbors were home during the second appointment. The installation was performed. The second technician was more professional than the first but was in a hurry and didn't explain much about the service to me."

"Their service is much better than the DSL I had. They have excellent tech service, and their tech support can walk you through any problem you might have. The price per month is between $60-$65, but if you already have cable TV, then the cost is $45."
