Great! From the very start, a nice professional and caring experience! I truly feel they care about the animals they care for and enjoy what they do. Since it's been several years since I've had a pet, I had plenty of questions and concerns about the service. They answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns right away. Very pleasant experience so far!!!

It's been a blessing. I felt guilty because I have a few work days that run longer than most and it meant a long day in the house for my dog. Now she has this great exercise and human contact in the middle of her day. I know it can only make her a happier dog.

, the man who walks my dog, is very knowledgeable about dogs. He's had years of experience providing this type of service. My dog loves him and he loves her.
If it's too cold in the winter (way below zero) or way to rainy,
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
still takes my dog out for at least a quick walk, and then interacts with her indoors for the remainder of the scheduled time. There's no skimping.
There's a note left for me after each walk to let me know how it went and what they did.
The guilt is gone, the dog is happier, I am happier.

When visiting Napa we needed a daycare for our boxer. Found
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
on the internet and was impressed with his experience and mission to train and place dogs with veterans suffering from PTSD. He is very sensitive to the dog's personality and social level. Somehow he can meld the 'pack' into one and take them on walks and they all have a fabulous time. Would highly recommend
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
to anyone with a dog who might need a friend when you're away.

It was so terrible I can't even say. I don't think she came there more than once a day if that. While I was still away my girlfriend texted that the garbage can had been on the street for a week and did I want her to check. I said yes. She reported that the fish tank was really dirty and the little bird sitting in her cup. Not until after I got home did she tell me that she had found my front door unlocked.
When I arrived home at 11:30pm with jet lag I discovered a fish tank so filthy I could barely see the fish and the floor of it was covered in so many uneaten food pellets that it looked like brown gravel and the smell was overwhelming. I had been very specific about how many pellets to give and this was unfathomably more. I dropped everything and completely cleaned the poor fishes home. When I later questioned her she said that she didn't know what could have happened as she had cleaned it five days before I returned. She hadn't smelled the stench? Or seen how cloudy and filthy it was? What are her standards? She also seemed to have used my soup ladle for what I don't know but it was by the fish tank. Yuck.
Then I moved to the little, elderly bird. Her feet were covered in hardened feces and seeds so that they just looked like hard balls on the ends of her legs. You couldn't even see that she had toes. It took a half an hour of bathing her in warm water to even soften the crud to get it off her. It has taken her weeks to be able to do anything but sit inside her food bowl as her already injured feet were so sore.
My dog didn't even get up when I arrived. This is an ebullient dog who has never held a grudge about me going away. She was depressed and thin. I had received one text photo the entire time and it was of her walking on the street where I had asked that she not. I had left specific instructions for her to receive cut up pieces of cooked meat that I had left in the fridge along with her crunchies everyday. It was all still in the fridge...still good but untouched. Ms.

said that she had given her some but she had had diarrhea the first day so she never gave her anymore. It wasn't the meat because she has it everyday. It was, probably, having to wait so long to go out and the trauma of being alone during thunderstorms.
Then I checked the parrot. She seemed fine but all of her treats were still in the fridge so I guess she got nothing but seeds the whole time.
The cats seemed okay but her idea of cleaning the kitty litter had been to remove anything that was on the very top and pour a bunch more litter in. The box was so full I don't think there was room for a cat in there. My little one had urinated in a bucket on the bathroom floor on top of the plastic bags that she clearly had not used to carry out the used litter. Under the top inch of litter were masses of clumped urine. Their bowls were overflowing with food which was all over the counter calling ants. It was clear from that and from the overfeeding of the fish that she did not come often and just threw out a whole lot of food when she did so they wouldn't die.
All in all, I was shocked and horrified. I paid her the going rate that I have always paid to have someone actually stay at my house. She agreed to the rate and I was very, very precise as to what the job entailed. Obviously, she doesn't know how to care for multiple species. I wouldn't take her word for anything. I guess she's capable of walking a dog...as long as you don't mind your house being left wide open. When I told her that my house had been found unlocked she retorted that if I had 'random people' coming to my house she wasn't responsible. Ha...I had a trusted friend check on my animals because she had left my home looking as though no one was there...if you leave a garbage can overturned for a week by the road it sends a bad message.
I wouldn't let this woman near an animal I cared about on a bet. But, your choice.

My 19 year old cat needed special attention.
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
came every morning to feed him, take care of the litter box and cleaned up after him when he was not doing well using the litter box. I gave her my daughter's cell phone number as a contact, as I was out of the country, and
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
communicated her concerns promptly with her when my cat did not look well. I felt comfortable giving her my house key, as she was a stranger to me. I felt peace of mind that she was reliable and would recommend her services.

I am so happy I found
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
. After using another dog walking company for over a year, I finally started looking for a new walker after the previous company repeatedly cut short the walks I was paying for, or worse yet, never showed up at all. I contacted several other services via email; several never responded to my inquiry.
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
responded promptly with the information I requested and scheduled a home visit to meet my pup.
At the home visit, he went over District Dog's policies, had me fill out an extensive intake form (including information on past illnesses and treat routine - something my prior service did not even bother to ask), toured the house to learn where her leash/food are located, and even took her for a quick "trial walk" to better understand her behaviors! I loved that he wanted to learn her mannerisms and how she walked on a leash. As we chatted, it was clear that
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
loves all dogs and was committed to learning my pup's routine to provide the best service possible. Finally,
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
is willing to customize a walk plan, both in terms of number of days (no 5-day commitment), time of day, and length of walk. Sometimes my dog wants a longer walk and sometimes she just wants to get back to her bed-so knowing that
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
is flexible enough to meet her needs is wonderful.
Billing is a breeze-he emailed me an invoice and charged my card automatically.
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
now walks my dog twice a week; I am so relieved that she is in good hands on the days I work late, and I am happy to support a new local business!

has taken care of my little guy when he was sick; and on occasion, even took him to the vet for me because I was at work. When the weather is bad, she plays with him indoors. She has brought puzzles for him and different toys to keep him engaged and active when the weather didn't permit outdoor activity.

, my dog, absolutely loves her and looks forward to their walks and jogs together. He can be willful and sometimes has agendas that are strange such as having to put everything in his mouth before he passes judgment on sidewalk refuge.
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
has been consistently careful and gives an accurate accounting of the entire time spent with him. I really cannot say enough good things about her; she goes above and beyond and defines the meaning of customer-centered care.

Ballatt arrived on time, looked professional, and had a calm, quiet way about her. My dog likes her very much and let her sit on the floor next to her.
Albuquerque Dog Walkers Provider Name Locked
massaged very gently, and then goes a little deeper depending on the dog's reaction. My dog fell asleep during the massage. Afterwards my dog slept for awhile, and awoke happy and relaxed. She was smiling, which was very nice to see. I was actually very surprised and pleased at how much good it does. I think that you need to keep up with the massage to get the beneficial effects. I would recommend her.
