They set up my phone to a different # than my existing #. Then denied that it was there fault. Big hassle getting it ported over to correct #. Had to work with a supervisor to get any satisfaction.
Internet is slow even though I upgrade costing extra $10/month.
Internet drops at least once every 2 weeks.
I am going back to Comcast as soon as my contract ends.

Our lines are old, and I have an elite uverse account which is supposed to provide me with download speed of 3-6mgps. Because the lines in my neighborhood are so old, they cannot give me what I pay for. The tech finally gave me information to switch to other channels that are less used because my download speed will go between 1-1.6 when everyone is home in the evening and I cannot even stream movies. Unfortunately they keep adding customers to the line which keeps slowing it up.
There is no future plans to change the lines. However the service and techs are really good. Unfortunate that the service is poor. I am waiting for "Clear" to service the area and then I don't have to worry about that stuff anymore, but until then, I am stuck.

7/14/2014 (Monday) A storm knocked our the
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
internet and phone service at our business. I was out of town and did not learn of the outage until the next day.
7/15/2014 (Tues) After learning of the outage, I called
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
from my home (since the business phone was dead). Was told that our modems were stuck in
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
and needed to be reset.
7/16/2014 (Wed) The reset did not restore service, so I called again that night from my home. Set up an appointment for the next day between 3pm and 5pm. Gave them my cell number for contact (since the store phone was still dead).
7/17/2014 (

) Arrived at 2:40 pm.
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
van was out front. Driver/serviceman told me he had been waiting there for over an hour and now had to go to another job. Rude and dismissive. There was a message left on the store's answering machine saying that the serviceman could not wait any longer. (Yes, they tried to contact me on the phone that they had not yet repaired.) There was no call or message on my cell phone as I had requested. I gave the man a piece of my mind. While I was calling
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
to complain, he came and told me he had rearranged the other job and would do the work for me. He discovered that my modems were working but that the cable had no signal. He told me he would have someone run a new line the next morning and that he would personally come by after that to confirm it was working. I asked if I had to be on site for that, and he said no.
7/18/2014 (Fri) Went back to the store after I finished my work (which is at another location) only to discover no one had come to run the new cable line. I called to complain again. This time the agent on the phone told me that
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
customer service agents have limited visibility and no control over the people who perform the repairs. We set up another appointment for the next day from 1pm to 3pm. Once again, I requested they call my cell phone to contact me.
7/19/2014 (Sat) I arrived at the store at 12 noon and sat there for 5 hours. No one ever showed up. The doors were open; the lights were on, and I was sitting out front to be sure I did not miss anything. Just before 3pm I called
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
(using my cell) to ask where the repairman was. They assured me he would be there eventually. After 5pm I went home and called again to complain. They told me the repairman closed the ticket at 5:18 and did not perform the service because no one was at the store to give him access. An obvious lie since I had not yet gone home at that time. I made yet another appointment for the next morning between 8am and 10am. I also filed a formal complaint and was told I would be getting a call to discuss the complaint with someone of authority at
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
.
7/20/2014 (Sun) I arrived at 7:45am. Repairman arrived at 8:05. I noticed that there was now a new spool of cable wire hanging over the back door of the store. The repairman (who was a contractor, not an employee of
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
) hooked it up without problem, and my service was restored. He told me he was given no information about my prior issues and did not have my cell number. After he left I tried to reattach all the internet devices to the modem and discovered it was in fact only partially functional. I made one more appointment for Tuesday to have the modem replaced.
7/22/2014 (Tues) The modem was replaced without incident.
In total I lost more than $1000 in revenue that week while I was waiting in vain for
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
instead of working my usual consulting job. I never heard back from anyone at
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
concerning my formal complaint.

The tech found a problem with a feed back in the house while servicing another house and came in and found the problem and fixed it, also while at the house he found that one of our boxes was out dated and he replaced it with an up to date box. Free of charge.

I'm a Sr. on limited income, they gave a deal for $ 30/m for 1 year. After the year it went up to double. They wouldn't back on the new price, but they gave a land line (phone) foe $ 4. extra. I took it because with solar flares coming all of our satelites and electric grids will be fried. All and all they are good under their corporate skin.

, Facebook's CEO, is pushing for free Internet which is the way it should be, the costs of providing them are not that high-it's a gold mine for providers.
Dish has a scam, they ad TV for $20.99 + $14.99 for internet. When you call they are quick to send the installing man for TV; when you asked about internet they say: "Oh no, we don't have that service in your area." When you start saying: "But the ad said....." youi'll find you talking to yourself because they hung up.

The CSR I spoke with was extremely helpful. I didn't have a long wait to talk with a representative. She immediately figured out the problem, walked me through the steps necessary to reboot my router and modem, and within 3 minutes our service was fully restored. Excellent when you are running a business that relies heavily on internet access.

telephone service person was attentive polite and answered my questions promptly. she arranged for me to get a new xfinity wireless gateway, and waived the fee since i am a disabled veteran. it was mailed to me, and they paid the cost to mail the old one back. installation was easy.

Installation Smooth.
Timely.
Workedout a deal in terms of price for a two year contract, which I was okay with, since I am in IT and had to have an Internet Provider no matter who it was.
Albuquerque Cable Tv Providers Provider Name Locked
is the fastest, most reliable and with a two year contract also a very very reasonably priced service option compared to the quality of internet service and availability.

Interesting answer I was told that it was due to a earth fault somewhere in the houses power supply and they couldn't do anything yet when he left and till this date we have had no problems. Think he did something and didn't tell us for some reason.
