Air Duct Cleaning Reviews in Albuquerque

is a very pleasant and professional person to work with; he always does what is expected and oftentimes much more. We use him several times each month for rental properties as well as our own property.

and crew were very careful about keeping my house clean. They removed their shoes each time they came into
the house. They had towels to put down in all the places they might have gotten dirty.
cleaned my vent covers with a toothbrush. I had just moved into this house and I
think the vents had ever been cleaned. They put new screws in the vents when they put them back on. Overall it was a fantastic service. I will use them again.

Air Duct Cleaning reviews in Albuquerque

Albuquerque Air Duct Cleaners Provider Name Locked
showed up promptly on time with 2 cleaning crews. When he arrived and looked over the carpets he also mentioned he did tile and grout. (No hard pressure sales). I thought about it and since the entire first floor is tile and had paint/varnish stains I asked him to clean it. He then quoted me a price for everything which was an amazing deal. Most amazing was the end results. The carpet looked brand new, the floors were nicely cleaned and the house smelled fresh with no lingering odors. The work was done in under 3 hours and they left the house sparkling clean. I really appreciated the follow up call a few days later to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. This company is really great and I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed.

Provider cleaned ducts at the advertised price, but we elected to have
them disinfect the ducts as well and install a permanent washable
furnace filter.. That choice about tripled the price. The lead man was
very good about explaining eveything; he and his helper worked swiftly
and efficiently.

They called ahead of arriving and arrived on time. That is the ONLY good thing I can say. The technician ("
Albuquerque Air Duct Cleaners Provider Name Locked
") stated that they would not do the second unit for the Groupon price, I had to pay $189. Also stated that the Groupon was incorrect, and it was for a furnace diagnostic and dryer vent cleaning only. I must admit, I got pretty testy. We have had a string of no-shows, no return calls, late arrivals, etc., for different services and this was the proverbial straw. I showed the technician the printed Groupon that I had, and explained my past conversations with the office. I was told that they had had someone working for them who "didn't know what they were doing", and that I was basically out of luck (my words, not theirs). I had my husband deal with them after that, I was fuming. I called the company; no answer.
Then, the technician said he was stepping outside to call the office. I told him to go ahead, I was trying to call them too. He came back in and reiterated that the Groupon was wrong, they would NOT honor it, and that I could contact Groupon for a refund. Then he left.
I then called the company. I can't remember who I spoke to, just that he said he was quote a "Managing Partner" (I asked to speak to the company owner). Got the same spiel about an employee named "
Albuquerque Air Duct Cleaners Provider Name Locked
" who was "incompetent" (his words not mine) and no longer works for the company. I told him that it wasn't my fault I was given the wrong information, and that I expected it to be done (not exact words... remember, I was FUMING by this point). He kept interrupting me, told me he wasn't being condescending to me, just trying to explain things (which told ME he had been accused of being condescending before; I never used that word or anything close to it). He absolutely refused to honor their commitment or their Groupon. (I will add here, that we are between two houses, and had to pack up all the kids to go to the new house for this appointment, leaving unfinished work and packing at the old house.) Mr. Managing Partner then told me that the services could be provided for $229. Wait a minute!? I was told by the technician that it was $189. Mr. Managing Partner stated that

was new and not totally familiar with their pricing yet. This company seems to have a LOT of problems with their employees (snark intended).
I joined Angie's list AFTER purchasing and scheduling this Groupon. Boy howdy, have I learned a lesson to ALWAYS check here first, regardless of the deal!

Ran the hoses through the front door. Plugged in the vacuum on front porch. Doffed their shoes in the house and used towels everywhere to pad the hoses and cords around corners. Very neat and clean in their work, swiffered and dust-bustered after the job. Oh, and swept the front porch, which needed it. Left the place cleaner than they found it.. Ducts had almost certainly never been cleaned in this 35 year old house and had had a smoker resident, perhaps more than one during it's history. Extremely dirty ducts, Extremely, as I saw. Installed the new duct covers we had bought (old ones were rusted out), gave us a cute coffee mug, and did the job in about 2.5 to 3 hours. Delighted.

After having my dryer serviced, I was told I needed to have the vent cleaned. I called
Albuquerque Air Duct Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and they were more than helpful. It was easy to schedule the appointment. They were on time to work on the dryer. I really appreciated their professionalism. Also, they were fast and left the room where the dryer is clean.

This is a clear conflict of interest where the same company does the initial inspection stating repair needs to be done; and then provides estimate and wants to do the repair work, and then the final re-inspection. In our case, the inspector vastly overstated actual problems with ducts. As clearly seen on videos that were provided, ducts were in good shape except a few areas with minor rust. However, inspector said there was potential for collapse and the company said that these should be remediated at a cost of over $4,500. Or we could do the entire duct system for around $8,000. The kicker is that their warranty does not cover collapse of the ducts. So basically you are paying them for nothing - since if the ducts collapse the are not responsible - and you paid them to prevent a collapse. I would not recommend this company - I believe they are unethical.

I had a Groupon coupon for duct cleaning. When they came to do the cleaning they proceeded to use extreme scare tactics concerning my heater and duct work. Because my house is in Nob Hill and historic the heating is grandfathered in and for 28 years has been well maintained and worked perfectly, though obviously not as efficient as a new unit. However, in 1000 sq ft it does the trick. To make a very long and terrifying story short, they told me that it was ready to explode, I probably have CO poisoning and the duct work all needed to be replaced the very next day. After MUCH pressure and coercion with me and my brother who is the $ man and lives out of town they turned off the gas to the furnace, demanded $500 down payment to get the new furnace right then and wrote out a contract on a different co's work order for me to sign. Under duress and in fear I foolishly signed the contract and handed over the $500. I then contacted TLC Plumbing, who I highly recommend, to give a 2nd opinion. Bottom line, yes it would be good to get a new heater for efficiency reasons, right now there is nothing wrong with it given its age, no CO poisoning and all ductwork can be repaired. Both my brother and I have contacted NMAS to demand a return of the $500 down pmt. At first they said "the check is in the mail" and now do not answer their phone. I have put in complaints w/NM Attorney General Office of Consumer Protection, BBB, Groupon and will forward all on to KRQE as noted by Scheryl C. I also left messages for them that I would be doing all of this if they did not respond. It's now 10 days and no response!

Workers arrived after calling and one went to work pulling the dryer out. The other unscrewed the louvers covering a duct and brought it to us pointing out what appeared to be rust and saying they couldn't clean the ducts because that was yellow spiral mold that "turned into" (!) black mold and would make us sick if he disturbed it. He his company could get rid of the mold for $350. He said if we didn't believe him (he said he'd worked in New Orleans after
Albuquerque Air Duct Cleaners Provider Name Locked
and knew mold) we could get it tested independently for $800 or so. The dryer vent was cleaned, tax on $49 was paid (they didn't have change) and they left. We put a load of wet wash in the dryer, which had worked right before they worked on it, and it didn't work. We called the company and the workers returned. One stated that it wasn't their job to fix dryers, while the other one started working on it. I told them it had worked until they worked on it. The belt was reattached and it started working. The one said that his manager said he had to collect a service call fee of $40. They were paid. So for $89 we got the dryer vent cleaned. An inspection by a licensed and bonded heating person showed that, as we suspected--especially after the "If you don't believe me" remark, that it was rust on the inside of the duct cover.
