"They came as stated. Started working on time but when the counter-tops were beginning to come together, I thought the stone looked darker than the sample. But later" found out that it was the same color I chose. They were very paient with me and invited me to the store to take a look.
were very professional and cortious. My counter-tops are beautiful. I wound recommend this company for granite work. I have already scheduled them for my bathroom sink counter-top installment.

is a diamond in the rough and a home owners dream come true. If you just wanted to do a granite counter top without a full kitchen remodel," then these are the go to guys.
, the owner of the company is the master granite craftsman. He also does the decision of where and how to cut the granite to minimize the length of the joints. And he himself will come to your house to install the granite. We wanted to replace our Corian counter top with Granite without doing a whole remodel and were looking for the perfect granite company. Interestingly, I came to know about
while reading the reviews of another kitchen remodeling contractor in Angie's List. In one of the customer reviews I read that the granite counter top, which was part of a major kitchen remodel done for that customer, was sub-contracted to
by the kitchen remodeling general contractor. The customer commented very highly of the granite work done by
even though they were reviewing the general contractor in that post. Since I was aware that the granite counter top work is a specialized skill and most contractors outsource that to a specialist, I thought I should go directly to
. I found them on Angie's list only after I searched using their name – with perfect five star reviews for all categories and no negative reviews. Since they have only few numbers of reviews,
will not come up at the top if you
for "granite counter top" work. Very satisfied with this information, we emailed them with the details of our work. They promptly responded and told us to send the measurements. Then they responded with the estimate. We also went to their office to see the granite samples - the office was closed at that time even though it was during their office hours. (This is not a big company - so if the owner or the sole employee steps out, they need to close the office). We called the company number while we were in front of their closed office. The call was routed to the owner (
) who instantly apologized even though we didn't setup an appointment, and asked us to wait for 10 minutes since he is shopping for some items in the nearby Home Depot.
promptly came back to the office in about 10 minutes and showed us the granite samples. Behind their office is their huge granite workshop where many types of granite slabs are available for you to see and select from. Note that this it is not a granite yard -so if you’re looking for some special variety of granite you may not find it here - but
would be able to pick it up for you as long as you tell him the granite company and the specifics you need. To make the long story short,
stayed with us long past his normal office hours to explain all the details regarding various granites and took time to show us all the different types of designs. We decided on a granite piece which was readily in stock at his workshop and setup the day to do the templating. On the scheduled templating day, one of his staff members (Mr.
) came to do the templating. He listened well to some of the improvements we wanted to do when they install the new counter top. About a week after the templating
himself came for the installation with his assistant. In a matter of two to three hours all the work was done, the place was cleaned up for us to enjoy the brand new gleaming granite counter top. Thank you
and his team for the perfect work they did for us. An accountable, owner-operated small business does indeed make a huge difference! We are honored to support such dedicated skilled craftsmen. Note to other customers: This is a small company. So don't expect their office phone getting answered whenever you call. Once you establish your first contact with
you can always touch base with him using his direct number.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Pricing was excellent and

the owner was able to refabricate our old kitchen granite in the bathrooms which we were very happy about. However, after we picked out our new granite slabs for the kitchen, things started sliding down hill. We do not think actual templates were made of our cabinet tops prior to fabrication but that the fabrication was performed on measurements alone. Further, we needed four holes drilled for our sink faucet (a bridge faucet) and accessories and we clearly marked the location.

's worker,

I bought the service through Angie's List deal, and I had to reschedule my appointment due to ongoing painting job. They are responsive and did a good job.

When we put the granite in our house we used this place called Artistic Marble. This guy is actually on TV. They have really great, beautiful marble but from the time that we picked out what we wanted out there to the time it got installed and afterwards it became a total nightmare. They came out and did the template on the counter tops and we went back to the store to have it template out, you know what part of the stone we wanted. It turned out that even though we gave them the correct measurements before when we went out there he says, this is not going to fit on one stone, were going to have to charge you another $800 because we have to cut another stone. So my wife says if you're going to charge us $800 then we want to have this by the next week on a Wednesday. Tuesday came around and they called and says, well were not coming until Thursday and my wife blew up at them because we already paid them an extra $800 to have it done on time and they weren't on time. When they did come out they finally did agree to bring it out on a Wednesday. The installers slapped the stuff on. They never really installed the sink and there was an issue with the sink because it was a farmers sink and it was suppose to be, you know usually when they put the counter tops on they're suppose to silicone it to the counter, they didn't do that. The cabinet under the farmers sink was totally enclosed and they should have said something to the contractor who was standing there at the time and saying there is an issue with this and we need to remedy this before we can, you know, put this sink in. They never said anything. They slopped it on and the joint was right where the sink comes together in the back and so the next day when It came time to put the sink in they told us, oh you have to silicone it yourself. This is what we got from the installer. My contractor says, they never do this they always silicone a sink to where it needs to be. The next day the plumbers come to install the faucets and all the hardware stuff and they realized that there is no access to this thing and they had to pull the sink out and when they pulled the sink out to fix that stuff the seam came apart. So I called them back and I was totally ticked off and they said oh you know that's not our problem and you know they didn't want to deal with it. After screaming at them awhile they did send somebody out to fix the seam. When they showed up they said oh there is nothing I can do with that seam. There was another thing. We needed a back piece on the back of the

. So when they came out to bring the back piece to the
Woodland Park Marble And Granite Companies Provider Name Locked
, which was also like three weeks late, later than what they promised, and installed that and he looked at where the sink was, where basically my contractor had repatched it, and says oh there is nothing we can do about that, you know, just leave it. They wanted to charge me $200 for that. I said are you crazy? $200 to come out for ten minutes and do nothing. Then it turns out that they never sealed the stone and every time we put anything on it, it just soaks right through. They are taking no responsibility for any of the stuff. This company is atrocious. I would never ever recommend this company to anybody. I mean they have beautiful stuff, much nicer than a lot of other places I have seen but the customer service and the way they've handled things is just like really horrible.

went above and beyond. The counter tops look amazing in the new kitchen. Job was done fantastically, very professional. Quick turn around and willing to be flexible with scheduling of the measuring and install. I could not be more pleased with how the counter tops turned out. Looking forward to working with him again when I redo the master bathroom in the future.

Did a fantastic job and were pleasant, hardworking and trying their best to do a great job. Can't say enough about the great
job they did...my floors, tile and granite and marble look fantastic. So hard to actually find people these days that are trying to
do a good job ...and care about the work they are doing....they are a great company. Ask for

and his crew...great job and nice people.

Not a great experience with this company. The back bar came out great, including the installation of the under mount sink. The front bar was not acceptable to us. They claimed there was not a slab long enough to allow for a one-piece counter top, so they added a piece to the end with a seam. The seam was very noticeable, and the two pieces of granite did not match. Once we complained they came to inspect, removed the granite, and attempted to find a better match. They claimed they were unsuccessful, and there was nothing else that could be done. Since this job has already been paid, we are now stuck.
They also damaged some drywall when removing the granite, and this will need to be repaired.
There are many companies offering granite services that stand by their work, and I would not recommend using this company.
