Plumbing reviews in Williamstown

I had them come to remodel my bathroom It was very outdated and the floor under the toilet was sagging because of water damage. They gave me a great price and tore up the floor around the toilet to replace it. I got a new sink, toilet and ceramic tiles. They fixed holes in the wall and painted. They had two guys doing the work and both were professional. they cleaned up afterwards and I am pleased with bathroom. A month later called them out to fix a leak under my kitchen sink. Again my house is old and the pipes under the sink aren't exactly the normal configuration. A plumber named

came out and replaced a metal pipe with PVC and repaired the leak very quickly.

The entire visit went smooth I have used them in the past for pressure tank replacement, water pump service, water valve replacement and toilet replacement. They are always on time pros and always clean and make sure the work is done right. They are a little pricey though. But when you need them they are there! So I guess you pay for that level of service a little more then the average plumber.

Wanted to replace bad/old toilet. Placed a call on Sunday. He answered the phone. Said it would take a couple of days to get the model we wanted. Gave us a price over the phone. Called back with confirmation of installation date. Was there on date promised.

Called the company to investigate some leaks around the house.
Charged me $90 for initial visit to diagnose leaks. Concluded I needed a new toilet and faucet.
Bought faucet and toilet from Lowes. Called and scheduled for visit. Service man (

-very pleasant and polite) came as scheduled and replaced faucet in 2 1/2 hours. (I am not a plumber but I have replaced faucets in less time!). After further inquiry, he told me that his labor was billed hourly at $90/hr.I almost convulsed!!! The final cost was $274.50 (He was kind enough to take $40 off from prior service charge and did not charge me tax. The actual cost to replace an $80 Lowes faucet would have exceeded $300!) I asked him not to install the toilet.
I have since then contacted another service provider (off Angies List) who has agreed to install both the toilet and an identical faucet for a flat fee of $275.
1. Shop around.
2. Ask for an estimate BEFORE the work is started.

Avoid services that charge an hourly rate for standard jobs (like replacing a toilet). Why? Because an inexperienced technician can take his time at your expense. In fact, the longer it takes him to do the same job, the more he gets paid! This method of payment rewards inexperience and incompetence.

They respond immediately to my calls. He does very good work. I trust him to do a good job. I have never had problems with the service. He is friendly and courteous.

They've been here at least 5 times. This time they fixed a humidifier problem. He checked the hot water heater and insulated pipes. He's good.

had the best idea to fix my problem tub caused by a poorly intalled rebath insert (they did not stand behind their installer). It was also the least expensive and probably the hardest fix, from the installer's point of view. I had met with three plumbers and they all had different ideas. They also all agreed that the Rebath product was not fitted properly and not installed properly. The drain had numerous washers in it from the Rebath installer. Charely was very punctual and very responsive. He calls you back in about five minutes and when I had a problem (due to a faulty part). He called me back in five minutes, was at my house in 20 minutes, and had the problem fixed at 8am the next morning ( he had to pick up a new part). He stands behind his work and his estimate. He will not charge you if things cost more than he estimated. I would definitely, without a doubt recommend him and use him again. He is also a veteran.

has experience in tile and plumbing (licensed plumber) and has years of experience to use to fix a plumbing problem. He is an excellent and honest plumber who will give you a fair price for quality workmanship. I highly recommend him.

I was purchasing materials for work that a contractor was completing. I went to
Williamstown Plumbers Provider Name Locked
, Electrical, and Hardware to buy a list of materials including tub, toilet, toilet seat. The saleswoman talked me out of getting a Cast Iron tub, and recommended the acrylic tub for retaining heat. She showed me a tub on the sales floor, and I proceeded to sit in it to assure it was big enough. I agreed to buying the tub that was on the sales floor. I took the tub home (thinking it was exactly what was on the sales floor) and left it in the box for my contractor to install. When I came home from work and saw the tub, I realized it was tiny. (Seriously, the smallest tub I ever saw.) My husband called the store; not only did we get the wrong size, we found out that we got a porcelain tub. We were told that because it said, "Americast", we should have known that we didn't get an acrylic tub. Also, the saleswoman lied and said that I commented that the tub on the sales floor was too big! (OUTRAGEOUS!!) I was called a liar, and apparently my ignorance about tubs is my fault and they would not refund anything! When my husband wrote a negative review on Google, the owner of the company,

I strongly recommend that NO ONE buy anything there! The saleswoman is incompetent. The manager insulted me. And, the owner threatened my husband. Unfortunately, I have learned a harsh lesson- NEVER, never trust a salesman.
