"Recently, I retained "
" for her services. I was absolutely amazed and stunned at the amount of information she compiled, in such a short period" of time. The logic and methodical analysis she used, to research and compile the genealogical/investigative information (while cross checking the information for its completeness and accuracy), was astounding. The only thing more impressive, than the actual information itself, was the format in which she provided that information. It was provided in a report, so concise and clear, it made reading it a pleasure. She quoted me prices and came in under that quote. I would definitely not hesitate to use her services again.

"Price has increased. AARP discount is offered but order takers on the telephone did everything possible to try to prevent applying it. It was accepted, "but just for one year!" DNA" testing information is so nonspecific that guesses of degree of relation, I.e., 4th
, are left to the researchers to try to determine common lineage. No information is provided related to which specific
segments are shared in common. Also, no information is provided related to which
segments are related to the areas of the world, just the probability level. Also missing is about how long ago this probably occurred DNA test for genealogy purposes is probably the most disappointing aspect of the site's services. Military records in some cases are extra (Fold3). International records access is extra. Outside of Europe most other countries and areas have minimal resources. Newspaper archive access is extra in many cases. Database searches frequently lack specificity to eliminate many incorrect name and record returns and "
up" the supposed responses even when restrictions have been used, i.e., American searches return international names, pre 1600 restrictor provide names from the 20th century, etc., which results in having to sort through completely useless information. The ability to use expanded and more specific searches is provided, but seems to often not work correctly. As a library resource for searching - usually good. For linkage to other trees for collaboration - BEWARE! (Ancestry File is an often cited and unsupported source. The tendency to find children of 6 and 10 as parents is not uncommon. Inclusion of coats of arm that the individual never had right to are frequently found. The response when I have asked the question, "Can you tell me how you came to this deduction?" has resulted in responses like "you must take this more seriously than I do."). The marketing strategy seems to be to help the user to find quick success, whether the information is correct or not. Lots of aids are available. A commercial
service is available. In my opinion for what is offered the price is too high. Maybe I would rather pay a single price and have access to everything in all databases rather than being prompted to spend more to get what I need to answer my questions.

"I knew the
for my mother would probably be futile, since it is likely that she is no longer using her
name - and that is all the information" I could provide. While
was not able to locate her, she explored every possible avenue and provided me with a 17-page detailed report of her activities and findings. I learned things about my ancestors (and myself!) that I never knew.
far exceeded my expectations, both in terms of the depth and scope of her research and with the tremendous amount of caring and personal support she provided. I truly felt as though she wanted to find my mother as badly as I did. I completed our transaction with the feeling that I'd not only received an incredible amount of value and service for a small price, but that I'd also gained a good friend.
has assured me that she's not giving up the
and she will continue to provide me with updates if new information becomes available. I truly believe she will, and I would strongly recommend
to others!

Genealogy Service reviews in Toms River

Still the best genealogy site out there and I've tried a few. don't rely on other people's trees-use them as a guide then find your own primary or secondary sources. Excellent for French Canadian info. Somehow Ancestry got a hold of the
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
collection of French records.
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
the names then go to the link to the original in French-it can be tough but you can get the names fairly easily. Prior to Ancestry getting the
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
stuff, you had to go to Woonsocket, RI or to Quebec to read the
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
microfilms. That alone makes Ancestry a great value to me. In
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
you get , in French, an entry like: "

Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
(son) of the legitimate marriage of (father's name and mothers name and

name) married

filles (daughter) of so and so. Keep following these names all the way back to 1608 or so! You also can see B baptisms, deaths (sepulchres) or S, and M marriages. The French priests kept meticulous records. I usually join for a month $35 then cancel for a month or two then rejoin-its too expensive otherwise and its easy to cancel online-no hassles. And your tree is still preserved and u can add info still too and download your gedcom. I also use the and the prdh. If u get info there, then add it to

ancestry tree it will produce more of those "hint leafs"...what fun!!

My family shares a subscription, and we have had all kinds of fun digging in the records they store here. I was able to see my grandfather's service records, and learned he was kept out of front line duty in WWI due to a 'deformed arm'. Never knew that... We have also 'linked' with relatives from across the country who have their own trees on
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
. Have truly enjoyed researching, and also love having a place to put photos, stories and other memorabilia.

Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
was very pleasant to deal with, and gave me excellent suggestions how to complete my research myself. I would hire her, without reservations, for any research I could not do myself. Seems like a great person.

They are fairly easy to use although with every change, I find it harder to navigate the site. To be fair, I do not use it as much the last few years I have subscribed except for publishing and communicating with other amateur genealogists. Their databases with in the US are extensive and they are continually expanding. They also have links / information on how to research. I use their program Family Tree on my computer at home although I have not linked it to the online site tree.

I emailed
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
almost 3 months ago. Before I went ahead and hired her I had many questions. Those included specific cost, type of report, depth and scope of research. She responded right away to all my questions. Both my husband and I have been hunting around for our lineage and decided we needed an expert. We agreed that I would have mine done first then my husband. I sent her all the information I had gathered through the years. Mostly just bits and pieces and vague dates and some names as well as a deposit for both my husband and me.
She started right away and explained it is "like sorting through a mountain of unopened
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
shells looking for the pearls".
I didn't know how long it would take and was comfortable having her keep track of her hours and letting me know when she needed another payment. I had the option of giving her a dollar amount but liked this way better.
She sent me frequent updates on her progress as well as juicy tidbits of information she had uncovered.
I appreciated when she emailed me saying she had enough information to start compiling her findings.
Today I received the second report from my mother's side. As with the first one it is HUGE! Jammed packed with names, dates, photo copies of documents and pictures and Facebook contacts! It is delivered via an email attachment in a narrative format that reads like a history book.
I am looking forward to getting my father's side information.
I've shared these reports with my siblings and
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
. They, too, are amazed at the information she was able to glean.
Finally, I love the fact that if at a later date, I want her to resume her research, she is happy to start where she left off!

My grandfather disappeared roughly 85 years ago and I asked

Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
didn't yield any results but I feel that
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked

I was at the proverbial brick wall that so many of us come to when researching our families, and decided to hire
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
to help. Not only was
Toms River Genealogists Provider Name Locked
a pleasure to work with but she was quick to respond to my request, and kept me in the loop during her research.
It took about 3 months to receive her report, and WOW, I was impressed! She not only provided the information that I needed, but also traced my 3x great grandmother's line, having arrived 6 months before the Mayflower!
It is apparent that
