After calling the company who put in our entry gate multiple times I decided to try someone else.
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
Installation responded right away and came out right away. The first time they came out they spent at least a couple of hours trying to figure it out. Finally it was decided that we needed a new mother board. Before getting the mother board they came out a second time to try and change a setting so we could at least keep the gate open manually until the mother board came. While here they were able to fix it completely and we didn't need the mother board. They were great people to work with. I will and would use them again

We had a really stubborn electric fence gate that we had called several people about with no good solutions.

How did it go? Horribly. Everything was extremely slow, communication was poor, didn't listen to our requests, and the end result was disappointing relative to the price and time spent on the project. Treated us as if they were doing us a favor working with us.

The quote process went ok. Estimator showed on time (took a week) and a quote was delivered within the time stated (another week). Implementation was an issue and has never been installed.
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
's team did not show up, as agreed to, for phase one of the project (fence removal). Only after we called to inquire - forgetting it was agreed for a certain date to do the fence removal so that other professionals could do their work - did
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
send out a person to remove the fence. In addition, the new install was to take place four days later but
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
's office had never ordered the fence (4 weeks prior) so we were told we'd have to wait another two weeks for the product to come in. After waiting an additional 4 weeks for the fence to come in (after being told it would be 2 weeks) I called to inquiry. The office assistant called back to indicate there were issues with their supplier and it would be longer. After another two weeks we called again, spoke to the same office assistant, and was advised there was still no fencing. We asked that
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
give us a call so that we could find a solution using either a different fence or supplier. Sadly,

the owner, never returned our calls. After a three month process and no fence we have had to restart the bid process over again.

It went very well. My wife and I were very pleased with the service that
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
did. They worked around our schedule, installed the windows and even hauled our old windows away. To save myself money on labor, I removed the siding around the windows.
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
was ok with that as they knew we were trying to save money. They didn't pressure us to let them remove the siding so that they can charge us more. We had an air conditioner in one of the windows that was replaced.
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
instructed us not to put the air conditioner in the new window for a couple of days to allow the caulking to cure. After they were done installing the windows, I put the siding back up.
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
even gave me a siding hook tool to help me with getting the siding back up. It made the work so much easier. After nailing the piece of siding back in place, I just used the hook tool to pull the piece above it down and pop it back into the slot. We took pictures and posted them on Facebook and have received a lot of compliments. I would definitely hire

Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
promptly called me back for the estimate. He arrived when he said he would. He returned all calls. The crew was here when they were scheduled to be. They installed the fence in 1 day. No complaints at all. My next door neighbor is planning on using them for a fence installation as well.

This wasn't my first fence rodeo. This company provided awesome results on a difficult hill. Company has integrity with a capital I. Had to reset some of the original metal posts before replacing two gates and back lot line fencing. I will use them again on another property.

The quality rating above is an average: the steps get a B and the walkway an F I hired D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
to replace my front steps and do a repair on a bluestone walk. He seemed personable, and his work on display at
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
Lumber was pretty good. The work began late in the year and the steps were just finished before it got too cold to work. D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
promised to do the walkway repair when it got warmer, and I withheld only $150 from the payment. The good: D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
didn’t do the work, his two-man crew worked alone. Their English was poor but they were careful workers and the steps were neatly done. The work was not trivial; the landing was bordered with limestone slabs and the center was fitted with rectangular pieces of
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
limestone. The steps were faced with rougher stone. It came out well and the pavers abutting the stairs were not disturbed by either the demolition or the construction. The masons were neat and polite. It’s all straight, plumb, and level. There is a "however", however. The fair: I had asked that the mortar color match that on the limestone facing of the house, a sand color. The mortar ended up dark grey. That stands out; it isn’t what I wanted. The bigger problem is staining of the limestone by the mortar, leaving an wide, ugly border around each rectangle. At the time, D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
said it would get better; it looks worse now after more than a year. The bad: Holding back just $150 was a big mistake. Instead of diamond-cutting the walk as he told me he would do and replacing a section, D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
came and slapped some mortar in the cracks. And that only after several unanswered phone calls. He said that that would do it; call me if there’s a problem. I wasn’t happy. Now even that poor repair is failing. D’
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
failed to return any of my last five calls. In my last message I asked if he would be proud to show that work to a prospective customer, and of course there was no answer. Would I hire him again? His crew is capable of good work, but No. If you do, get a detailed specification in writing, and hold back a significant amount of money if there is any delay in completion. I should have taken my own advice. .

When I decided to have a driveway gate installed, Angie's list was the place I started researching. The
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
. came up with numerous great reviews, so I gave
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
a call. To be quite honest, I was a little hesitant when
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
said we would make all the decisions about the gate and fence when he showed up to install the support posts. He doesn't go to the proposed sight to give bids but rather encourages potential customers to go to his web sight, automaticgatecompany.com to view different designs and options. He has hundreds of pictures of previous installs for you to view. After looking at the website, I decided to go to his facility here in Houston to meet with him (by appointment) and see his operation just to make sure I would be getting a quality product and we were on the same page as to what I wanted.. His years of experience paid off with gate recommendations I may not have thought of on my own. I was very impressed with his operation and his forthright admission that he was running about 6 weeks behind. He hand builds each gate himself after it has been ordered. He makes no promises he can't keep and doesn't mislead you about how long it will take. My driveway has a slight incline leading to the garage and I was told by another installer, giving me a bid, that the gate had to swing out toward the street because of that. I did not want it to swing outward, so when I talked to
Toms River Driveway Gate Installers Provider Name Locked
about that, he chuckled and said it would absolutely not be a problem to swing in by adjusting the pivot points during installation. He was right, as the gate works beautifully and I could not be happier with the finished product. Once the price was decided at the beginning of the process, that was the final price at the end. No extra add-ons or additions of any kind. I would not hesitate for a second recommending this company to install a gate and fence to any property.
