"She was rude to my husband and I when I was getting ready for surgery. She was a smart aleck. She did not have bedside manner and was horrid. She wanted to do a mastectomy right" off the bat and I was at 0 stage for breast cancer, and when I went to Dr.
, my breast surgeon, she said I can go in and get that and do radiation and I’ll be fine, so I felt it pays to get a second opinion. My husband couldn’t stand her at all, and I wouldn’t even let her touch me after that.

"The appointment was originally scheduled for 2 pm. The office called and rescheduled for 11 am, stating Dr.
would not be in that afternoon. I arrived about" 15 minutes early and checked in. I asked if the physician was running on time, and the
laughed. I waited in the waiting room for an hour, then went back to the reception desk. The receptionist tried to call to see about the delay but was unable to reach anyone. As I was walking down the stairs to leave, my name was called and I was taken to an exam room. A harried nurse stated that the physician would be in as soon as possible, but was unable to say when that might be. I waited an additional 40 minutes and then left without seeing the physician.

"Overall the experience goes very well. However, be prepared to spend at least 1 hour to 1 1/2 hours for the entire appointment. The technicians I've had are very professional." Waiting areas are spacious and clean. This time after the mammogram the technician came back and said the doctor who reviewed them said they were fine - and she gave me the option of accepting this or having the doctor come in and speak to me personally (I declined). In previous visits, the doctor would herself come in and speak to me to tell me the results. I gave "bedside manner" a "B" only because the technicians seemed a bit rushed and brusk as a result - although at the same time they were friendly enough. (Can't help but wonder if this is because they're over-booked?)

Hello, this is Kyle K from the Member Care Department.

I apologize for my delay. We encourage healthcare providers to list the insurances they accept when creating their Angie’s List profile. At this time however, many providers have not completed this section, or the information wasn't available when Angie's List created their listing.

I encourage you to visit your insurance provider's website, as many offer search tools to find local healthcare providers. You can then cross-reference these with Angie's List. We’re happy to help look up these individual providers for you, too.

I am sorry I could not answer your question directly, but I hope this information was helpful.

Please let me know if there's any other assistance or info I can provide. You can respond in line to this Q&A thread by submitting a new answer. You can also reach us at memberservices@angieslist.com or toll-free at 1-866-783-2980 to speak with a live representative. Our call center hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 am-8:15 pm Eastern Time or Saturday from 8:30 am-3:00 pm ET.

Thanks for writing! - Kyle K

Breast Surgery reviews in Princeton

They specialize in mammogram, bone density and its geared toward women so it's a really nice service and I would recommend it. I was pleased with their service because it's specific to a women. SO many times when you go in for a mammogram or something like that you go to a general department so the more they focus on a specialty like women I think they will do a better job. They are very friendly and make an effort to get your old records and compare, etc.

Dr.

diagnosed it as early-stage non-invasive, which means it shouldn't travel. She scheduled the removal at the

was informative and quite good in her treatment of my wife.

The prep work for breast surgery is brutal. One undergos a nuclear medicine procedure in which radioactive material is inserted into the body to identify the lead lymph node that will be removed to see if the cancer has spread. If it is clean they do not remove additional ones. Then they insert metal rods in the area that the surgeon will remove followed up with a mammogram. If you can survive this process you can survive anything. At the initial appointment the surgeon (part of the Oncology Team) sat down with me and explained the procedures and the what ifs. She also made drawings to explain the steps of the surgery. I view her annual follow-up exams/visits and mammograms as a bridge to a healthy life.

I had an amazing trip through cancer-land. He doesn’t do just what he’s most skilled at, but he helps you overall with your mental, physical and emotional attitude as well. I was fortunate that I got to through two of the latest programs in cancer detection and taking care of it. Before I had surgery I had five shots around the cancer. When he got in there he was able to take out one little lymph node and not a bunch like they used to. He was able to right away tell my husband that there was no cancer anywhere else in my body. He and his nurse are especially wonderful people. I would knock the door down to get to them again.

He is a busy man but it is not too bad getting into him. He spends a lot of time with all his patients and so there is some wait time because he spends so much time with you when he comes to see you. He's got a beautiful new office. His staff is real good. He's perfect, he knows what he's doing.
