"It took a while to receive and the dollar amount is not listed on the card. By the time it arrived, I had to look up what it was worth in my email history...all in all, a good deal though!

"I have to give
a low score. I purchased carpet from them and they installed the carpet using another organization. The carpet installers arrived on time and the day they promised. . . unlike the last
service we used (appliance delivery). The
salesman told us that the installers would move up to 6 pieces of furniture for $50. We decided to pay $100 to move 12 pieces. He failed to tell us that it was PER ROOM, not per six pieces of furniture. The installers were not happy and were on the telephone with their bosses. Next, we were to remove carpet from the upstairs and we reiterated to the salesman that the installer would need to remove it from the basement. This was NOT on the work order and prompted another call from them to their boss. Moments later we received a call from a
manager and got everything taken care of. After the installers left, we discovered a hall closet was not done. We decided that it wasn't worth the hassle and we would just paint it. However, we had issues with a few tack strips and the installer came out 3 days later to make the adjustments. I asked him about the closet and he told me it was NOT on the work order, that is why it wasn't done. Ugh! The sales associate totally screwed things up and added to our stress. This is the second significant error made by
or their contractors in the last six months (carpet install and appliance delivery). The managers did step up to the plate, but if work orders cannot be done correctly and outsourced work (deliveries) can't be made on days promised, then don't.

"I use

's on a regular basis for all of my miscellaneous home and garden needs. From paint to house repair items; they have exremely knowledgeable and helpful employees,
"I regret choosing
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
for my fence installation. Before I signed the contract the rep told me it would be 2 or 3 weeks before the fence would be installed. This was the promise up to the signing of the contract on 5/17/14. It took a while for my order to get from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
to the contractor and for the contractor to contact me with an installation date, as I was calling rep to get a copy of my credit card receipt from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
rep and an installation date for some time. Instead of scheduling within 2 or 3 weeks as promised, it was almost 9 weeks--7/17/14. I complained to the store manger who was told by the rep that no mention of installation date was made at signing of contract. That was not true--it was of utmost importance to me as I was coordinating the removal of my hedges by a landscaper. When I told
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
rep that I asked landscaper if I should wait until hedges were removed before signing
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
contract, rep said it was a good thing I didn't because I would be looking at a 5 or 6 week wait for installation as opposed to 2 or 3 weeks. Best Fence assured me that nothing would prevent installation on 7/17 except a torrential downpour. So the fence is scheduled to be installed tomorrow, and I'm following up with
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
manager and the contractor because no materials have been delivered.
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
manager says their one flatbed driver is out and they are trying to get another driver. I can't imagine that would be a problem for
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
. Also, before signing the contract, rep said installer would come over to look at the job before the installation date. Installer said they don't do that, and they did not. So far following up with
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
and contractor has cost me a lot of time and waiting for a fence far longer than promised. Personally, I feel service would have been much better if I were not a single woman, and if there were a man present in my home when the rep was here. I am 52 years old and have done a lot of business with companies, I can tell what's going on.

supplied, delivered, and poured concrete for a replacement patio that we are building in the backyard of our home.

I cannot fault their work. They arrived exactly on time, executed the pour without incident, and did an excellent job of cleaning up after themselves.

Unfortunately, the customer service provided by their billing department was rude, threatening, and condescending. I paid
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
for their work through my contractor on the day following the pour; and my contractor confirmed that he had passed my payment along to them within a day. Two weeks later I received a certified letter from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
threatening that they would place a
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
on my house and initiate foreclosure unless I paid them. My contractor, once again, proved that payment had been made as originally stated.

I called
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
at the number indicated on their Preliminary Notice to inquire if they had actually received and processed the payment. I was made to understand that my inquiry was a huge bother and that if I didn't understand what the Preliminary Notice was all about, then I shouldn't be "in the business." My attempt to explain that I wasn't "in the business" but was an ordinary homeowner who just wanted to find out if
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
had been paid was rebuffed with a terse "check with your contractor."
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
never did provide me with a definite statement as to whether they did or did not receive payment; but I trust my contractor and therefore did not pursue the matter. I've heard nothing further from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
which, I suppose, is good.

So, how do I rate this company? The work they did was first rate. The customer service provided by their accounting/billing department was horrible.
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
were very difficult to deal with. Very poor customer service and very poor quality of work by
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
walked off the job without finishing the work. We had to utilize a lawyer and arbitration in order to get
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
to return the substantial amount of materials and money he owed us. I would never recommend
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
to anyone for any type of construction or renovation work.
"Purchased cabinets and quartz countes from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
(they did the install on the counters). For the price quality is excellent as is we've had numerous issues with our contractor and
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
worked to resolve all our issues quickly. Selection is limited and quality does not compare to what you will find at some of the semi-custom lines but them neither does the price. For our kitchen remodel the price at
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
was 3500 vs 16-18000 at most of the local semi-custom cabinet places we looked. Cabinet quality seems to fine so far, tolerance on doors are looser and finish isn't as perfect but for under a quarter of the price you can't expect it to be. For the counters the only complaint is some visible seams at the bullnose on one of the slabs. Only advice I would offer is to visually go over all slabs before they start cutting and installing. We had done that to some extent and exchanged on slab but didn't catch the seam issue till after install. Had we caught it before
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
would exchange it without an issue. Counter installers were on time and worked to give a great product and incorporate some of our design ideas in the cuts. Considering the counters installed were 2000 vs 7000 for silesstone I'd say it's a great value for the money. If this was our dream house I would go for one of higher end cabinet companies and counters and expect perfection but considering we will only be here for 5 years or so and then rent or sell I would go with
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
without reservation.
"I took advantage of the offer from Angie's List for a $20.00
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
gift card for the price of $5.00. The gift card was mailed to me and I purchased plants and potting soil from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
with the gift card.
"Bonna was fabulous,You give her an idea and she expands on it like you would only dream. Once the cabinets came in they hold them in their warehouse till your contractor is ready for them, no worries of where to store them. I would recommend them to all my friends.
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
uses independent contractors for these services. The contractor was pleasant and his work was great.
However, as he was licensed in PA and not WV, he was not able to obtain a dumpster from the city for the project and we had to make those arrangements ourselves. The cost of the dumpster rental and the charges for the weight difference when returned were added to our water/sewer bill. However, these costs were also included in the total price quoted and charged to a
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
credit card. We had to pay the dumpster rental as it was on our water bill (almost $300). The contractor assured us he would pay us back, because he had already been paid by
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
and it was supposed to be his responsibility to get the dumpster. And ultimately, he did pay us back. But it took several calls to our
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
sales rep (who was NOT helpful and incredibly dismissive), and an in person meeting with the store manager, and several calls and emails to the contractor before we did get that money back.
Overall, we have been pleased with the service from
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
and from the contractor, who actually did a a good job on our roof.
I made sure to let the store manager know when the issue was finally resolved and I even called the national
Pequannock Lumber Stores Provider Name Locked
hotline to commend the manager for his assistance. But I also made it clear to all involved that if they choose to use out of state contractors to do their work, it shouldn't fall upon the home owner to put out hundreds of dollars that is already accounted for in the total cost and then wait several months for reimbursement. We have a small house/small roof. I can't imagine how much someone with a large house would have to pay for this same service (dumpster rental).
