is a top notch company, with Nick Falkoff at the helm of a great group of builders. It is immediately evident that they take pride in their craftsmanship and treat each project as if it were their own house. Nick's secret weapon is the best crew chief ever -
.
is deeply experienced beyond his expertise as lead carpenter. He is well informed, a great communicator (such a RARE trait in construction crews!), a terrific problem solver always ten steps ahead of his team anticipating problems before they happen, a resource for great advice as the project progresses, extremely considerate of his clients, a strong advocate for the homeowner and a natural born leader.
prides itself on hiring first-class sub-contractors and under
's watchful eye, they perform. Nick,
and company are a pleasure to deal with, they are responsive, knowledgeable, provide great customer service and real artistry to their projects. Any construction project is disruptive but these guys make it painless ...and maintain the cleanest job site you could ever wish for in the process!

It went very smoothly.
was in constant contact with me at all times and replied to all my phone calls and texts promptly. I work so there was a lot of back and forth via phone, texts, and meetings, so I appreciated his promptness in replies. They were courteous and even when I added additional work at the end, were polite and went the extra mile. He even suggested cost saving ideas which I greatly appreciated. You don't find that too often in a contractor, honesty, is priceless. Thank you for a job well done!

and his father were very professional in taking measurements, and even came back to double-check some measurements around our ladder and spa to ensure our cover would fit exactly right, and it did. They drilled the holes and installed the pop-up anchors. They instructed me on installing, removing and storing the cover, which came in a large bag, and included tools for raising and lowering the anchor pegs and stretching the spring straps over the anchors. After 2 years of use we are pleased to say the cover is still like new and has not needed any adjustments to straps. We find it easy to install and remove the cover and are looking forward to a long life for it. This company also caulked several hundred feet of open cracks in the concrete around the pool. They did an especially nice job with the caulking, including being able to slope it to accommodate some concrete settling. The caulking has held up really well in the 2 years since the work was done.
I would not hesitate to recommend
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
for any pool-related work, and especially value their efforts to caulk and cover our pool. It looks great!

At first all seem to be going well but I found that attention to detail is not on
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
's radar. When the I used the toilet for the first time, it wouldn't stop running. I let
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
know and he took care of it the next day. Then the light switches--one for the lights and one for the fan, were opposite. One was up for on and the other was down for on. Again as soon as I let him know, it was fixed. The shelf was installed loose on the wall and would tip forward--again, he came and fixed it. I had a small area of black mold that they seemed like they were just going to cover with Kilz and I complained about that. The shower's hot and cold were mixed up. One of the facets had no water pressure so
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
looked at it and ordered a new valve. When the plumber came to change out the valve, he said that something was stuck in the facet but didn't have to tool to open it. When the tool arrived, I went to clear out the cabinet and they hadn't tightened the lines and they were dripping in my cabinet for the week Luckily, I had a container of cotton swabs that the water dripped in--all the way to the top. One more day and my cabinet would've been ruined. The mirrors were not hung securely to the wall. I got so tired of complaining about every item that I took care of that myself. The caulk around the tub was lifting after 2 months. The grouting was poorly done and I complained about the excessive grout lines at the outside edges and
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
just tried to cover it with paint. The glass tile is wavy around the tub and all the corners have massive amounts of grout. No attention to detail.
Then about 2/12 months after the project was completed, I noticed a huge water stain on my laundry room celling-right below my new bathroom. The plumber came out and did some measurements and thought it was coming from the tub water line. We hardly even used the tub. So, we went on vacation and they came out to figure out where the leak was coming from.
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
communicated that they couldn't find the leak and it was probably water splashing from the tub and they would re-do the caulk. I said that was an awful lot of water from splashing. I asked that he leave the ceiling open so we knew that the leak wouldn't return. As soon as we got back from vacation, we took a shower. I went down to the laundry room and water was flowing into the laundry room. I filmed it and texted it to
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
who told me that I said it was the bath and they didn't even check the shower. Really, I told you we hardly used the tub and the plumber did measurements. He did not caulk around the tub, he caulked the base of the tub by the floor. Upon further evaluation, the grout had cracked all along the base inside of the shower. I have ruined glass tiles and stainless steel tiles from water getting behind them. Then he caulked that whole area. I didn't see any re-grouting done. I sent him a picture of the caulk around the tub that was lifting and he said he would re-do it when they came back to fix the ceiling. I still have a hole in my ceiling and it has been 7 months.
They put in a cheap dimmer switch that doesn't support the new lightbulbs so I have buzzing all the time from the lights and the panel would get so hot. They also put in a cheap ground fault that kept tripping even when I didn't use it. I hired my own electrician to make sure that it was done correctly. He told me about the dimmer and switched out the ground fault and now I don't have that problem anymore.

Super Storm Sandy was a horrible experience for me. Perhaps the worst
thing of all was that I have very large trees on my property. Unfortunately,
huge tree trunks came down on both my garage roof and that of my home. The
damage was significant to say the least.

The problem was further exacerbated by the fact that my insurance company
initially refused to pay anything towards replacing either/any of my
rooves.

Then I was lucky enough to find Angel
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
and his company. Angel knew
how badly my roofs were damaged. But more than that, he fought the good fight
for me. Thanks to his expertise in dealing with my insurance company he proved
to their satisfaction that both the garage and my house needed to have both
rooves completely replaced, But the story doesn't end there. Angel and his
crew performed this herculean job for me quickly and cleanly. I have two
completely new and beautiful roofs and this never would have happened if not for
Angel.

I contacted
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
& Sons for getting my deck and walls below repaired due to water damage. I live in a townhouse complex and my association put the responsibility back on the home owners even though the issues came from construction and siding failures. I contacted several different companies and they came out to give me quotes and only
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
& Sons were even willing to take on this job after coming out and looking it over. A good deal could not be seen until the siding was removed to even determine the extent but I ask for them to give me a worse case scenario quote which
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
did. The date was set for doing the work and the 3 men crew (

,

and
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
) came originally thinking it would only be 1 week of work and it ended up being a week and a half. As they worked more issues that needed to be addressed were found and also some that needed to have contact with my Association. At my location an company was out doing some work on the siding of the building and the work they saw was actually causing harm not repair for how it was being put on and it was not addressing the issues under the siding it and also needed information on our roofing company that needed to address an issue that they needed to address do to warranty status. I was able to get some of the information from my association and
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
took on trying to reach the roofing company holding the warranty from them to address a repair so I would not have to pay for it since it was under warranty.
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
also spoke with my representative of my association because I wanted her to see what was being done and let her know about the issues with the other contractor doing the siding work and that they are just wasting the money spent because they are really causing more damage with the way they are installing siding. The work was done so professionally by each member of the crew that worked on my home. They explained how things should have been done and how they were going to correct them for me. I will definitely contact them for future projects I have at my home and also encourage my Association to use they for work on the complex that is needed and tell others that may need work done.

It all went very well. I had purchased new upper kitchen cabinets to increase storage space, as well as some cabinets for installation over my washer and dryer.

This was, in my opinion, the worst contractor I've hired. In my opinion, the job was rushed and botched, so that I need to hire a new painter to fix the walls which started cracking and bubbling after just six weeks, not to mention the inside of a door he forgot to paint. The prior paint job lasted about 7 years. Contractor made various, shifting excuses. First blamed a (non-existentleak) and then claimed too much humidity.

Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
was great, friendly, and on time. He met us at Lowe's to pick out our materials, ($450) which was not part of the cost estimate. We knew upfront that we would by buying the materials ourselves. I like that
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
helps us get the right materials, after all he's the one who is going to be working with it, and he explains everything. He also loaded the materials on his truck, and transported them to our home himself. There were a few unexpected problems (aren't there always). He wound up having to remove the old tile because it was improperly installed by the builder. He did NOT charge us for removing the old tile, even though it was additional work.
Also, the toilets that were rocking, had crooked toilet flanges. Fixing these added $250 to original $600 estimate to remove the old flanges level out the area, and install new flanges in both bathrooms. We were given the option to leave the old flanges, but with the new tile, we felt it would be best to make sure the flanges were done right to prevent future water damage to our new tile.
The job was done quickly, professionally, and with continuous updates on the progress and the reasoning behind what he's doing. They cleaned up afterwards, and it was impossible to tell the tile had not been there originally. I especially like the base boards running along the cabinets, which was not done by the builders before -- it just looks so much more finished that way. It looks so wonderful, I'm eager for him to come back and do our kitchen/dining room area!
I would absolutely recommend
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
to anyone who wants to have their home improvement job done RIGHT!
Long Branch Remodeling Contractors Provider Name Locked
even rearranged his schedule to get us in before our carpet installers came, which meant he would wind up working on Saturday, and he did so with no additional cost.
