"Dr. Kordenbrock is a great veterinarian. Our entire family has been taking our dogs and cats to his office for over 20 years. He takes his" time during the examination and charges a fair fee for his services. He is very knowledgable. The office staff has been there for many years and is always friendly. The office location is easy to find right on Pike/ 18.

"These individuals are the consummate hucksters. They are adept at churning the bill, and have serially diagnosed my dog -- in six weeks -- with atypical lymphoma," atypical leukemia, syncopal episodes (well I dxed that one for them) cardiac hypertrophy, and now possible atypical seizures. I have paid them some 5K in the last 6 weeks, for no useful information. If there were any alternatives, I'd be gone in a shot. As a practicing physician with 30 years experience and owner of five dogs, these folks are rapacious beyond belief.

Angie's Answers

The first answer is pretty thorough but I would like to add a few points.

First.. the type of food you are feeding your dog may be the key.  If you are using a food that is grain, rice or corn based in the first three ingredients, please change to a food that is meat or chicken based.  Many dogs are allergic to grain, rice, wheat and corn and these things are used as primary ingredients in many well known, name brand dog foods.  Secondly, all treats that have these ingredients should be cut out.  It takes weeks to months before a food change can show results so you must be patient.  Jumping from one food to another will be counter-productive.

Some dogs are so allergic to flea or other insect bites that one or two bites can cause a severe reaction.  Once the itching/scratching cycle begins, it is hard to stop it.  Benadryl is good but I suggest liquid form.  You can get it inexpensively at one of the dollar stores.  The pills take time to break down in the digestive system so you get better and faster results with the liquid. One tsp= 5cc and most dogs of average size can tolerate that much and more if the dog is a larger breed.

Allergy testing is very expensive and most dogs will test positive to some things.  That does not mean that the itching is coming from those things as many things in the environment can trigger positive test results.  Breaking the cycle of itching is primary and that can be done with prednisone ( short term and last resort after benadryl and bathing), allergy shots( same deal, last resort after easier methods).   This spring and summer have been particularly hard, weather-wise.

Good luck!

After you search for the company, you should get the "no results" page. Scroll down just a little bit, and you'll see a button and a link that say "Add this provider." Click on that to add them to the List! Thanks for the great question.
I'm really sorry! It looks like we made some site changes I hadn't noticed before and it made things just a little more confusing (for me, too!). We'll have to look into this to make it easier.
In the meantime, here's what you do:
1) Look for the Submit a Report button. It's yellow and on the right-hand side of the page.
2) Search for the animal cancer care clinic you're looking for. The search box should be inside a yellow bar.
3) You should see a list of potential matches, but on top of those, there should be "add a provider to the List" text in blue, which is where you'll click to get to the add page.

Let me know if you have any trouble. Sorry, again, for this being so confusing.

Veterinarian reviews in Little Falls

I've always been impressed in general with all 's vets. This most recent visit was no exception. I was taken to the exam room at my scheduled appointment time and had approximately a two minute wait before the doctor came in. She was very kind, compassionate and patient, as well as informative. She took her time in ...More her examination, explanations, and suggestions on the best course of action. I didn't feel rushed through at all, even though there was a waiting room full of patients.

I hardly ever give reviews on anything, but after 10 years of taking my four dogs and my bird to , I feel they deserve some positive recognition. I can't say enough about the services they provide to the community.

Dr is a wonderful veterinarian. She not only has phenomenal knowledge of non human animal health and disease states and treatments but she is also aware of animal parents' special needs. I experienced first-hand her amazing knowledge and skill in an emergency situation. Again, she is wonderful.

They were really great! The people were great the facility was nice and they took good care of my dog. The only thing I felt was it was a little expensive, but everything else was awesome!

My review is based on my overall experience as a client of for over 25 years. When I began my relationship with Vet in the 1980's, they were located in the Shopping Center. I have taken several pets, both dogs and cats, to this hospital over the years. I was always very ...More happy with the service and the helpfulness of staff. I moved out of state in 2004 and returned to three years ago. I was excited to be able to have the service of Vet again. However, something happened with the staffing and service in the nine years I was gone. It seemed to begin with their relocation to a new building on W. Republic Rd. The friendliness and ease of appointments I valued are gone. This office has become super busy and their prices have significantly. I no longer feel like a valued customer. It has become impossible to get an appointment sooner than two weeks in advance.
I'm an amateur student of the relationship between buildings and the ease of service, due to my career background. The defining factor for 's decline in quality seem to be the move into a new building that has terrible acoustics: the office is one huge room with a very high ceiling and all concrete surfaces. Sounds bounce around and are amplified. Acoustic experts say that the level of background noise affects the stress levels of people (and animals).
I greatly value the many, many years of quality service here and the relationships. I miss them. I wish this business all the best but they are no longer the veterinary hospital I knew and loved.
- Paul D.

Surgery went fine but was way over priced. We were referred to this vet from our normal vet and did not check the pricing. Once we researched we found out that the price was at least double of what most other specialist charge and 4 times higher than what a general vet charges for the same procedure. The procedure went well but was extremely over priced.
- John F.

I was very pleased from the moment I called the office with how nicely I was treated on the phone ~ as I am super protective of my fur baby. I told them how she will and freak out and need to be sedated before she can be touched, and they actually listened. Unlike another local vet in the past who didn't listen and respect ...More my wishes and it was so h****** my cat and on the doctors. The receptionist and vet tech were extremely nice, the offices were very clean, I was very impressed. Dr seemed very nice, but rather distant ~ but it was the first time I met her. She was very professional and knew what she was doing so that was good. I do wish that I had received information on what my cat had, as I can never retain the info the tell me. But when I called later, the receptionist was very happy to explain everything to me again. I purposely traveled 40 minutes to this Vet, because my friend so highly recommends both doctors. For my one very feral cat, I will go back to these doctors.
- Caroline F.

It was perfect. I dropped her off in the morning, called for an update in the afternoon, and picked her up in the evening. Everything went really well. They also trimmed her nails and removed a fur mat.
- Sean H.

Dr. Mankeller is very thorough and takes his time to explain options in treatment. He is caring, knowledgeable and a good communicator.
