Imagine no AC in this Texas weather - quick trip to
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
. (My first to this business). June 11 I took in my 2005 Saab with multiple AC problems: the blower motor and manifold hose assembly to start with. I also reported a rattling 'noise' under the dash when the AC cycled to a lower speed.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
waited on me and made sure I understood the repairs he would do. Since Saab has gone out of business, parts are hard to get and
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
did everything he could to get the parts asap. I really appreciated their professionalism and automotive knowledge. Most of all, the respect and appreciation *he* showed *me* for being his customer. After picking up my car and enjoying the cold AC, the next day I heard the same rattle noise under the dash. Because of having to use my car for work, it was 3 weeks later before I could take the car back. This time I talked with
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
. He was very understanding and patient and said he would make it good. He ordered the part - this time he was able to find one to overnight - and the Blend Door Actuator was installed the next day.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
is the nicest guy I have met in a long time. He is respectful, professional, and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough about how happy I am to find these guys. Well, that's not all! When I went to pick up my car after hours -
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
and behold - the front bumper lip liner had been repaired! When I took my car in, I didn't even mention it to
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
, but he went beyond what I asked for. I'd call it a random act of kindness. Now tell me, have you heard of such a thing! He fixed my car and didn't even charge me or note it on my receipt. A drive-through car wash damaged the front lip liner long ago and both ends were bent down almost to the ground. I knew it was damaged before I went to Patriot but neglected getting it fixed because I didn't want to pay the dealer cost to repair it or replace it. I was so happy about
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
's generosity, I told my girlfriend and the next day she and her son took his car in for repair and was equally pleased. I can recommend
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
and
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
without reserve. I am so happy I found
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
. Thank you, Angie's List.

The work itself seemed fine---it did take longer than expected though, but since they provide a shuttle for nearby residents that was okay. It was the response afterward that was unacceptable. Right after I had the work done, I had difficulty on several occasions restarting the car on a warm start. Never had the problem before in 100,000 miles. I called
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
's to make arrangements for them to recheck the car. Not only did the owner seem unwilling to acknowledge that the hard starting was a result of the tune up they did (c'mon---this was not a mere coincidence), but he was unwilling to help accommodate my schedule at all. If you caused the problem, you should be bending over backwards to try to remedy it.
I originally went to a small, local business for the supposed personal attention. I didn't get it at
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
's. What I did get, and continue to get, is bombarded with postcards and robo-calls from them. I have since taken my business to a large dealer in the area, where I surprisingly get better service!

we've been taking our cars here since they opened - 20+ years.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
and
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
are top-notch guys and we've never had to worry about being sold on repairs we didn't need. we've actually been told that we DIDN'T need certain services yet that WE asked about (brakes, flush, etc) or we DIDN'T need additional repairs that a dealer said we needed when taking the car to the dealer for warranty work (which is the ONLY time we would venture back to the dealer). They are always very accommodating when trying to work with our schedules - and have always been extremely responsive when unexpected car problems have come up. we've never had any problems with service or repair and feel their prices are plenty reasonable. Are they the lowest? I don't know - but we know that when take our cars there we'll get the service we need and nothing that we don't - and it will be done right. That's what we're looking for and that's what we've received over 20+ years. My brother now takes his precious sports car collection to
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
as well.

I dropped the car off and was told that they would get to it on Thursday, which was when the parts would be there. Well, Thursday passes and a couple more days go by and no one calls me. I call them up and find out that they never got to it because the parts didn't show up when they were suppose to so they had to reschedule the work. After that time passes I have to call again and find out that there is a problem with my lights, but they can get a couple of the lights and fix at least 2 of the light issues. I am told, after 2 weeks, that I can come pick up the car. Once there I find out that they couldn't find the parts ANYWHERE in the area and didn't fix any of the light issues. So they only fixed the connector and the key switch. 2 Weeks for a couple of things. I took my car to The Car Shop of Virginia Beach and they fixed those light problems the next day, with no problems or delay in parts.

While at the dealer for some recall work, the dealer stated that I needed front rotors and brakes and rear brakes. The dealer provided an estimate for the work. HAV beat the dealers estimate by over $50 and used genuine Subaru parts. The brakes work great and I have not had any problems with them since.

I scheduled an 8:00 AM oil change and was one of the first serviced. There are two mechanics that work at this shop. I was greeted warmly by the owner upon my arrival and my car was taken into the shop right away where services were performed. I chose to wait inside the shop's waiting area while my car was being serviced, but could have gotten a ride home by the provider if I had dropped my car off.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
. has excellent mechanics. They fix our problems right the first time, so there's no need to return for that same problem. The prices seem a little high, but when compared to the
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
fees of other mechanics, or bringing our car back to other mechanics to address the same problem, the prices are fair.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
has been our family mechanic for over fifteen years.
I recommend
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
to anyone who is looking for an honest, personable, excellent mechanic. He books up pretty fast, but is worth the wait when you can get in. I trust
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked

Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
is one of the best mechanics in

I went there, and the girl at the desk had no personality. She didn't even seem happy at all. The $115 price to diagnose the problem I was told about, but I thought it would count towards the repair, but no. It cost over $300 to change thermostat, put in new coolant and put a new cover on the radiator. I priced out and it was cheaper just about EVERYWHERE!

I have used
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
for several years and I find him to be very friendly and honest. He is very service oriented. And his office manager
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
is very nice also. I took my very old Honda in for service and it ended up being something that was going to take longer than a couple of hours since a part had to be delivered. I had planned on waiting and didn't have a way home.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
's wife actually took gave me a lift home (with kids in tow)! Now that is service! In the end my car needed to replace several hoses, a cooling fan for the radiator, and had an oil change.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
will also point out items that need to be "watched" for the next time my car is in for servicing. Awesome business ethics, and a very friendly staff, and "supreme" customer service. Can't go wrong.

Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
, is joke and an expensive one. “
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
can make any trip easier, more productive and more enjoyable.” Hog wash!
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
is almost six times more expensive than my AAA membership and their service stinks. I pressed the
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
button, asked for the concierge, and requested a navigation route be sent to my navigation system. You think that’s easy. Forget it!! The first concierge created the route, sent it to me for approval, and asked me to call back when ready to use it. I was instructed, “The concierge would retrieve it and send it to your navigation system when you are ready to travel.” When I pressed the
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
button the second time, I was told, “Oh no, we have no records. We can’t do that.” After quite an exasperating phone conversation the concierge loaded a route. When I turned-on the navigation system, the system said, “You’ve reached your destination.” For God’s sake, I was sitting in my driveway! A little incompetent you think. I pressed the button again. The
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
concierge gave me the same rigmarole. We have no record; you can’t do this or that. When I explained I was only doing as instructed, I was treated to – “you’re wrong.” After another long frustrating conversation a route was sent to me. The route took me 20 or 30 miles out of the way and then on to an entirely wrong direction. AAA can give you and has given me a detailed Triptik that is error free in minutes. No problem. After this miserable deplorable experience I send a letter to
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
Cannon, President,
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
USA. I thought he’d want to know his “
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
” employees needed some training and assistance with customer service.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
’t bother writing him. An already unpardonable situation became immeasurably worse. Someone from his customer service area called. I had to return the call six or seven times to make contact. After a long conversation nothing was accomplished. I had to call another area to wage a complaint. So much for
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
efficiency or customer service, if I wanted to pursue the onus was on me. I thought to myself, shouldn’t one letter take care of all this. When I connected with
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
customer service I was given a cursory hearing. I asked to speak with a manager. After holding forever the same representative came back on the line to tell me, “There’s no manager available.” After several additional attempts I reached
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
a customer service manager. She was good enough to slap me in the face with, “Your complaint isn’t important enough.” OK folks – save your money.
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
is a rotten deal, provides poor quality assistance, and delivers no customer service.

Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
and his mechanic did a great job. Recently, I was told by the dealer that the car had a leaking water pump. I took the car back to
Hillsdale, Consumer Cars Provider Name Locked
and he did two pressure checks and assured me there was no leak. He also inspected the brake fluid, which the dealer had said needed replacing, and found no problem there. When I had the water pump replaced he took me back and showed me the leak while the car was on the rack. Try that with your dealer’s service department!
Highly recommended. They are honest and do quality work.
