tire job done It was do well as far as new insulation sheet rock and flooring that I purchased. bathroom there were situations that developed that were never corrected. specifically: We had wanted a heated floor put under tile work . after us paying for the imported tile and it was put over the heating coils ( no rubberized insulation under to isolate from slab) . entire job done only then was it determined that the floor heat wasn't working. now we are left without what we wanted and a useless thermostat in wall.

The master bath flood occurred on May 12, 2014, and primarily involved the master bathroom, the carpeting, carpet pad, and underlayment in the master bedroom, and some seepage into the second bathroom.
While the tear out occurred right away, they left behind debris and nails sticking up in the floor allowing for foot puncturing.
Although they left us with one working bathroom, they installed heaters and blowers in both bathrooms, which they essentially set and forgot about. We were forced to crawl over and around the heaters and blowers to access and use our one working bathroom. If I remember correctly, we had to remind them to set a blower under the house, which was part of the planned work. What was suppose to take 4 days

, was left for 10 days, thereby delaying the remediation work.
The workers sent into our home were young. Communication from the company was essentially non-existent.
While eventually they came and cleared out, the process did not leave us feeling confident about the work.

was our Public Adjuster when our family had a water damage claim. We called him right away, he opened the claim, met the adjuster and got us an amazing settlement. The insurance company didn't want to pay what we were entitled to and

saw to it that they did. We highly recommend the use of this Public Adjuster, he is honest and very professional. We interviewed many Public Adjusters for this large claim but none of the other Public Adjusters were of his caliber when it came to experience and know how.

The owner responded quickly to my call. He and his team were professional and did a good job of minimizing the impact on other rooms by removing carpeting and drywall through the window well. He explained everything well and I was satisfied with the work. I don't have any way of comparing price since it was an emergency purchase, but it seemed reasonable considering the amount of work they did.

On April 30, almost five inches of rain fell over the city. When I came home, I went to the basement for something and heard a "splash" as I stepped onto the basement floor. My basement was filled with water! I spent the night getting up as much water as I could. Then, on May 1, I called my plumber and told him what had happened. I asked if he knew any reputable water removal companies. He said that he had never dealt with Royal personally but that his customers reported that the company treated them well. I called Royal next and they told me that an estimator could come out on May 2. Sure enough, on May 2,

(the estimator) called and told me when he could get to my home to survey the damage. He arrived on time, saw what needed to be done, did some calculations, and gave me an estimate. Within an hour, one team came to dry and clean the rugs and prepare the site for the drying equipment. Another team followed in a couple of hours to install the equipment that would be picked up three days later. Before removing the equipment, the technician used a meter to check that there was no sign of moisture or mold behind the walls or the benches. (FYI - there was a spike in my electric bill because the equipment had to operate 24/7 for three days.) All of the employees were courteous and efficient, both on-site and on the phone.

was especially helpful to respond when I called him several times with questions about the process. I appreciated that he patiently explained what I should expect. And, I can say the same for the excellent customer service staff. Overall, Royal made it easier to cope with a sudden and difficult emergency.

I will not bore you with all the details, but will tell you the things I have witness's to. My contractor had to finish what

was to do. I had to pay

who demanded all the money, and put a

for the same jobs! No response when I called the business.
Sand bags and a drive way and yard with more trash were left for me to clean up, even after I mentioned, via phone, that the job was weeks over due, and builders were waiting. They didn't show up.
In addition, and more hurtful than the above, was the issue of many things being taken during the day while they were here doing initial clean up before demo. I must tell you that it is critical to get a receipt for all the things the business takes, before they drive off with it. I asked for a receipt many times and have the e-mails still! Some of your things will be gone, even outdoor furniture not touched by fire or water damage, that you simply discover while walking around! You may never see these things again, and they will deny having knowledge of any items. They asked me to prove it! I lived across the street and was here every day so I know.
When I did not choose

to build my new home, the response was anger, scare tactics, manipulation, and hostility. I have witness to this.
There was much more to this story. However, I will close by saying. that I am glad that truth about business's ,can offer, in a small way, protection for the next naïve trusting sole.

responded right away when we called after the washer flooded, 9pm on a Friday night. He was out first thing the next morning (to save us some $) to do demo and set up fans/dehumdifiers and also tried water extraction to save the wood floor which unfortunately wasn't possible. Because the issue was created by a 3rd party contractor, there was some discussion and justification with their insurer, which he handled for us and was a great advocate so we were paid for all required repairs. He spoke clearly and intelligently about what we should expect during the drying and recovery process and patiently answered my questions. Estimate was easy to understand and every change in the repairs scope was reflected quickly in an updated quote. His subcontractors for the repairs were pretty good, but we had a few mixups about start time for the work, depending on the day. Generally, a good experience and he handled the panic immediately after the flood like a professional. Clearly he has done it before!

on his team was good as well and they are focused on the customer, particularly when it comes to dealing with the insurance underwriters.

They did good work but was estimated to take under two weeks and took almost 2 mths. Seemed to be part time project for them. Also seemed they never initiated communication always had to call them and ask what the delay was. However always responded to calls and texts promptly and were professional and personable

Overall the project went well, but it took longer than I expected. They are very busy, and the work could not begin until mid August. The estimate also took a bit longer than I would have liked. CRS has a great team. They have damage mitigation teams who come out to deal with the water immediately. Those were paid for directly by the insurance. Then the insurance company estimated the additional repair costs and cut me a check, less the deductible. Then CRS came out and did their own estimate which came in very close to what the insurance had paid. They were not the cheapest, but I felt better dealing with a company that handles water damage than a general contractor or builder. Once I authorized the work it took about 4 weeks to get a slot in their schedule. A demo crew came in to remove the tile. A couple of days later the tile crew came in to install the new tile. CRS uses one tile retailer and a tile contractor who assisted with choosing the tile and grout. It took 3 days to install the tile. Then the downstairs ceilings were painted. Then the toilets were installed. Then the upstairs painting was done and finally the carpet work.
Overall I was happy with the work. There were some issues with the wall paint staining the ceiling in the bathroom and CRS took care of it by repainting the entire vaulted ceiling for free (which was not part of the contract). There was also a chipped tile to the shower that happened during the demo and CRS took care of replacing that. I had a punch list of about 6 items and CRS took care of them promptly, with no questions asked.
Again, I am very happy with the professional staff and their willingness to do what was necessary to achieve a quality job. I would use them again.

The work was done well although it took awhile to schedule and almost a week to put a roof on a 1000 sq ft house. This is a restoration company with lots of insurance work, so roofing isn't their No 1 job. But I had the roof inspected, and the report said it was a good quality job. I must give extra kudos because when I had running water coming in my living room, they came out and fixed it temporarily ASAP. The office staff, managers and workers were all super courteous.
