's are very prompt. They were at my house within hours of calling to talk about what I wanted done & by the end of the" day I had an estimate emailed to me. I called a few other companies and after receiving bad, or no service, from them I decided to use
's. The estimate ($2,303) was higher then I had budgeted for ($2,000), but they had a coupon that brought it down a little ($2,103). I asked if there was any way to do it for $2,000, but they said the price with the coupon was fair. And it was, so I decided to use them. Less then two weeks after signing the estimate & paying the deposit, they were at my house & had the work done in a few hours. The landscaping looks a
better then it did. They took the time to explain to me how to care for the new bushes & shrubs. I think they could have a better job cleaning out the plant beds though. I had a lot of weeds in them and a couple days after the work was done I already had some popping up through the mulch which I don't think should of happened that soon. Overall they were quick, reasonably priced & did a good job. Would use them again in the future.

"The service was done well. They did the test and fertilization in two separate locations. My involvement with the actual job was minimal-
sent the test results," and the options that we had for each house. Then the job got done. I did not even need to be at the houses. It was nice to be able to rely on a service provider! Thanks,

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

I've been using
Weare Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
for close to a year now, and have been very impressed by their responsiveness and care for my lawn. All questions have been answered quickly and knowledgeably. The grass looks beautiful and I see a dramatic improvement over last season.

After several years of lawn care by this company, I began to notice that my grass was not looking as well as I would have liked. In fact the grass in my back yard had deteriorated so much that I had very little grass at all. I just felt my money could be better spent with a company who communicated more with the customer and terminated service with
Weare Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
, Inc in January of this year.

.I'm not really sure about the weed control. I have the feeling that I'm going to have to have more work done soon, which is what I am trying to avoid. The weed control used was spraying - and that's all. I'm not sure that they came back and did a second spray as they said, because weeds are growing and not turning brown as they did the first time.

I made a copy of the deal that he offered. On 9/24, since things were going so poorly, I wrote a letter to him, which he never responded. All throughout the season, I tried to called him. That should have been a red flag. I shouldn't have to call every week. They had someone new coming out almost every week. If they don't know the property, they're just going to do whatever they want. It was inconsistent at best. Since the leaves have starting falling, they haven't showed up. They came out, maybe, the first week in October, and I haven't seen them since. It was a deal offered through Angie's List, but they gave me the deal themselves. It was supposed to be $999 for one year of landscape services. Me and my neighbor both got the same deal. We made an appointment with the owner to come out and speak with us. He never showed up and never called us. There is a whole list of services that they were supposed to perform for us, per the deal, and they have not fulfilled most of the services. I had to go out and collect the leaves in my yard myself. Leaf removal was supposed to be part of the deal. I'm a senior citizen. That's why I bought the deal, so I wouldn't have to do these things. A few weeks ago, there were leaves in my yard, they just cut over the leaves. There are willow branches that we trimmed, that they were supposed to collect. I wasn't home, but my neighbor was. I asked her if they collected the branches. She said no, that they were just cutting the grass and running over the branches. I paid my bill every time I was supposed to, so that was never the issue. I have since stopped paying for the service. I'm not going to pay for the service that I'm not receiving! They skipped a week in August, but I still paid the bill.

Not sure why they have you choose 3 dates that work for you for them to perform the service if they just disregard them. Just wanted to pay them and have them come on one of the dates I picked that worked for me and have them do the job.
