"We discussed the lab results, talked about what I need to do to get a couple things under control and completed a couple of additional things for the new patient" exam that hadn't been done by our previous doctor for quite a while. I really like Dr 's bedside manner, her knowledge and thoroughness. She's easy to talk with and I didn't feel rushed. She really cares about her patients. The staff are great too. Dr had been working in Walnut Creek as an internist with a focus on sports medicine but recently moved to Danville and opened Danville Sports Medicine and Primary Care. The thing that caught my wife's attention was Dr saying she's interested in creating a medical home for her patients. Based on what I've seen so far, I think she's achieved that with her approach to medicine, her staff and her new office environment.

"He did all the tests and determined I did not need surgery. I was given a Cortisone shot which really helped. I was recommended for physical therapy which I chose" not to do and instead I went easy on my shoulder but did stretching exercises and it healed. He showed me all the pictures and test results. He took the time to make me understand what he was seeing. I went to him as he was referred by two coworkers that he operated on and had nothing but praise for him. I guessed on the exact date but know it was last summer in and August 2014. If I never need his kind of service again, I will go back to see him.

Sports Medicine reviews in Portsmouth

I have been a client of 's for over 5 years now and all I can say is DO IT! If you are ready to turn your life around, is the best trainer to help you make it happen. He is patient while pushing you to achieve your best! You will never be bored with his workouts as they are never the same - he ...More keeps your interest while working every muscle. If you are looking for a trainer that is not intimidating but still pushes you to succeed is your answer.

So, I went in and the reception staff and nurse both indicated that they
knew I had been referred for a cortisone injection. Dr.
came in about 20 minutes after I was brought to the exam room. He barely talked
to me. Asked me to do a few things with my arms. Said it was tennis
elbow and then referred ...More me to PT. He was actually a horrible listener
because he asked me 2 different times if I had already done PT and that
was in a short office visit. The other joke was that I told him it was
affecting my ability to lap swim which is my main exercise. He said
that swimming would not affect my elbow!! I was tempted later to send
him a photo display of swim stroke mechanics and tell him how many laps I
was doing those strokes that clearly did use the elbow!!(in fact,
on-line I found cases of people that had my issues that were primarily
swimmers) Then, at the end someone said something about an injection
and he said, 'oh, I don't do those except in rare cases when people are in a lot of pain and then said, you aren't in a lot of pain are you?'(he never really asked),' I would have
explained that if i knew you wanted them! 'He clearly did not bother
to check with anyone as to why I was referred. He was very dismissive
and I feel like he did not even give me a very thorough exam. He seemed
in a hurry and did not ask any in depth questions. He was a
horrendous doctor and i am sick of doctors getting away with treating
people this way.

I have been training with for years, and I am constantly impressed with his knowledge of not only strength training & health, but the physiological components of how/why specific exercises are so important. I can ask any question and I know he will answer honestly and in a way that I will understand. He also makes me feel ...More comfortable in a setting that's frequently associated with anxiety, and I believe it's due to his non-judgmental nature and certainty that anyone can achieve their personal goals if they're willing to put in the work. I have also utilized his group training sessions with a friend of mine, and he is just as attentive to both of us as if we had each attended a one-on-one session. I can't say I’ve always been consistent with my workout routine, but never faults me for that. He's extremely encouraging and helps instill confidence in me to reach my fitness goals. He is the best trainer I’ve ever worked with and I recommend him over anyone else.

is fantastic. We couldn't have hoped for a better personal trainer and that's why we've been his clients ever since. He's not the "trainer" that you would typically interact with in a chain gym. He's highly skilled in sports medicine and health and fitness. He's stays on top of everything ...More necessary to be the best trainer around.
He customizes a training regime for your current fitness level while challenging your body to push itself to new heights.
He is always kind, supportive and helpful. He never, ever puts you down if you can't do a certain exercise. His main concerns are meeting your goals while ensuring that your current state of well being is at its maximum.
During our time with him, we have been sick, injured, and straight up exhausted. Each time, if we made the effort to come in despite these factors, he would make sure not to push us to do more than our bodies were capable of at the time. For instance, I tore my calf muscle badly in 2013 and couldn't walk on it. However, I still wanted to exercise. came up with a 45 minute set of exercises that were all done from seated or lying down positions. Remarkable.
HIs prices are more than competitive and his demeanor is always pleasant and encouraging.
I can't recommend him enough. He's the best around.

My overall experience with him was great. He was wonderful. I tore all the ligaments in my leg and he operated on it twice. He knew to not slap a cast on my leg and he said no with the way she had fallen. With the bone she broke she could have torn all the ligaments in her ankle. His office is very professional and his office staff is very polite.

Since 1995 I have had over 20 surgeries including both knees, ruptured achilles tendon and a serious eye injury. I have reluctantly had the past surgeries because I had to get things repaired to make it to retirement. I am a retired police officer. I have neglected other medical issues that I need to fix so I can enjoy my ...More retirement.
My nurse fiance directed me towards Dr . Even though I had to wait several weeks to be seen, I am glad I waited. I figured that if others were willing to wait to get into his office than I would do something I normally would not ,and I waited. I have had several office visits in prep for the surgery and have not waited for more than 5-10 minutes to be called back and seen by Dr . I have not been a big fan of going to a doctor in past years because I do not like the "get him in and out as quick as possible" way most offices make me feel. Dr and his staff are extremely efficient. Dr stands out as one of the best to me. He talked to me, not at me. I had questions and he answered them with answers that I, as a , understood. His staff are very professional and they helped make the process seem very smooth and efficient. Dr and his staff are like a well oiled machine providing an excellent service and I put great emphasis on the word "service".
"Outstanding" is how I rate Dr and his staff.

Great experience. Well knowledgeable. Very punctual. Excellent bed side manners.

The first new patient receptionist left to go ask about a patient who did not have insurance the practice accepted. Over 15 minutes left hanging. I was given a stack of forms which I could have brought completed, my appointment had been scheduled for three weeks, and then rescheduled with another provider. I then waited for the providers secretary. ...More As I waited, I heard her tell one patient he had a large bill, and insist she stop and walk him to billing on the other side. Meanwhile three patients waited to check in. Eventually, someone else offered to wait on me, and then took another patient. As far as the provider he was a surgeon, in the end, I would have been scheduled for injections and needed to go back to an originally scheduled pain specialist versus surgeon. After a one hour wait they called the patient after me, I told them I wanted my forms and was leaving. The manager would ONLY accept my being seen by the PA, more waiting for me. Remember I was scheduled to see a doctor, and yes they can bill insurance for my seeing the PA, or she offered to reschedule me. The doctor was running 35 minutes late, I would seen after the PA, however, I didn't trust it to be another 35 minutes. Last time I checked I was not a . She walked me to the door and threatened me, I took my papers and left.....RUN do not walk from this practice, I was in so much pain the day I was there. They lack of compassion is very evident, but obviously they have a large referral base. I was also threatened with the manager calling my PCP. Luckily, she is not on their side but mine, and not part of this referral base.
