"I called on Wednesday and they came in on Friday. Stayed for a few hours maybe 4. I wasn't even there while they took their samples. I just let them in. They sent the samples to the lab and by Tuesday I got the results. There were a couple of items ...more that they knew or I knew had asbestos or had a high probability of asbestos. Those Items I got a choice to test. Either test them or consider them as having asbestos. I chose not to test and that saved me a little bit of money.
They did it fast and I was pleased with their work. "

is in a class all by himself. I have never dealt with anyone both so professional and so personable. We knew nothing about lead remediation and
walked us through the process. Prior to starting the ...more work he came by the property multiple times in order to make sure that all of us were on the same page as to what the work would entail and how much it would cost. He was extremely accommodating in trying to fit our project into a very narrow timetable as well as discussing various ways in which he could go about the project prior to actually executing it.
's work is flawless, the work performed was thorough and extremely neat. He kept in communication with us throughout the project to let us know what was happening and when. He was very responsive in his communication and was extremely easy to deal with. We would absolutely recommend
to anyone having the need to do this type of work.

Sample Lead Paint Removal Reviews
was a true professional providing education and expert knowledge throughout the job. He tested all surfaces of the house for lead based paint and provided a very through write in less than a week.
Very happy with the experience and recommend this service for any DIYer who wants to ensure the house they live and work on ...more is free of lead based paint. "
was an absolute joy to work with. This was our second time working with him. The first was during the lead inspection before we bought the house. On that occasion, he walked through on his own and then walked through the whole property with us to tell us what had lead and what our options were for abatement. He answered all ...more our questions and was available through email and calls whenever we needed anything.
Because we had such a great experience with him, we called him to do the reinspection after we bought the house and had the lead abatement done. Once again, the whole experience was great. We were encouraged to ask any questions we had and felt completely comfortable with the whole process. If we ever need a lead inspector again, we will not hesitate to call
"The work went well overall. Did a great job with replacing windows and some of the complex trim work. Things that weren't so stellar:
1) missed a page on the report and thus didn't delead a bathroom (which consisted of two very minor items, which they addressed immediately upon discovery by the testing agent)
2) some of the retouch/fill/plaster ...more patching was VERY sloppy and required significant sanding before we could paint. I was expecting a higher quality of work.
3) The wood floor had been laid around some of the large, multi-piece door mouldings that had to be replaced, rather than a complete floor and mouldings that sit on top of it, which would be the norm. When they replaced the mouldings, there were gaps in the floor which they filled only with wood filler. It's the wrong color and did NOT match up when stained/sealed when the hardwood was refinished, as they promised.
It also took us 3 inspections to pass and be able to move into our home. I'm undecided on whether this was the fault of Alpine or if the inspector was influencing the results so that he would be paid to return for another inspection. The inspector is with a separate company, and thus his actions are not reflected in the rating given to Alpine.
Overall, the only lasting issue is the wood filler in the floor. They were very professional, pleasant, and easy to deal with. "
"This company and its president go far beyond the"bare miminum" in meeting the terms of a contract. In order to accomplish the job in a timely manner,
started the work on a Sunday and did not let up until the finished product was sheer perfection.
He clearly takes great pride in his work - as well he should. ...more He responded within minutes and hours (at the most) to all telephonic and electronic inquiries. His work product resulted in happy tenants - and successor tenants willing to pay considerably more rent, now that the house is lead-free - AND looks 100% better because of all the enhancements. Worth every penny. don't settle for less. You get what you pay for, and
and his assistant were very professional and knowledgeable. The information we received did not impact the negotiation of the sale of the house in any way, but it gave us some piece of mind in alerting us to the areas where lead paint does exist and providing us with strategies for ensuring they don't become a problem.
...more was able to work with our sale schedule to get a same week appointment that worked for all parties. He was extremely responsive and I won't hesitate to work with him again when the need arises. "
came to my house with a machine that resembles a policeman's radar gun that they use for speed detection. He used it on every surface, interior and exterior to check for lead based paint in my older home. He checked all the walls, ceilings, floor boards, shelves, closets, doors, every thing that had paint on it. He was ...more able to find out that there was no evidence of lead based paint without scraping anything, and I got my report via email that same day. He was very nice, very professional, and very prompt. I would definitely use them again if I ever need testing for lead based paint in an older home. "
was on time for appointment and professional in his inspection process. Afterward, he provided a comprehensive written report of all testing performed. I was very satisfied with his service and would use him again.
"As good as it can go. It was a very stressful situation, but
talked me off the ledge and pointed us in the right direction. We became low risk and moderate risk certified so we could do the work ourselves and that saved us some money. He took the time to explain everything very carefully. The requirements are confusing to say ...more the least.
was very helpful in getting us started on the journey into the Massachusetts' Lead Law rat's nest. It's a shameful mess -- but at least the inspector was good :) "
