Contractor was chronically late for all appointments by 2-3 hours. He stayed and worked well into the evening, even in the dark. I appreciate that he got it done eventually, but did not like having someone there till 9:30 at night. He did a good job on the concrete stairs - they look great. He left a mess in my basement when he repaired the front stoop. He also used a folding chair in my basement to stand on without asking - it is now a mess. For the wood railing on the back stoop, I specifically asked for a 4-5" space to be left under the bottom of the railing so I could sweep snow off in the winter. I also wanted the railing going down the stairs. At first, he did not want to do this (said something about code did not require it for the 3 steps going up) but it was part of the estimate that I approved. I asked him to fix the space under the railing and put on the railing for the stairs. He did come back and fix all to my satisfaction. Very nice guy, just not punctual or professional.

Our home is a beautiful brick Federal style built in the 1930's. Some areas of the brick are losing mortar. We were preparing to have a roof replaced over the garage and the roofer found some serious mortar loss and asked that we get a mason to repair it before he could do the roof. I called three masons in Omaha.
was the first to respond. He came out right away to give me an estimate. Once he got here my husband and I kept finding more areas that needed repair. Because we were in a rush to get the job done so the roofer could get here before cold weather,
said he would work us in around his other jobs. He came on Monday and did the repairs needed to get the roofing job done and the other small areas we found. He came two days later and filled in a large vent hole made when a Jenn-Air
had once been in the kitchen. He had to drive at least an hour each way to the brick company to get bricks (about a dozen) that would match our home. He only charged us $400 for the entire job. It's not easy to match bricks and mortar that are over 75 years old. He did a beautiful job with that. We couldn't be more pleased with
and the work he did. We highly recommend him.

and came back home at 8pm at it was too late to call me. she said he would call me the next day, well, needless to say i didn't get a call, i thought ok, i will wait and see if they call on friday, of course they didn't.
Apparently this company has enough business that they can treat people shabbily so they don't care if they get anymore business.
If you don't want to do the job or if there is a reason you don't want to do the job at my house, grow a pair and be honest with me, i can take it. if you will be honest with me and tell me why you don't want to do my job, i will have some idea of what to do next and it would help me tremendously. meanwhile, because I am not getting my problem fixed it continues to cause damage to my house. You are supposedly the expert, I have no idea how to fix this problem and have no deisire to learn, that is why i go to supposed experts to get it done, just tell me if there is some reason you don't want to do my job. I would wait until next spring if i had to, i understand that but I am getting no reponse from you so i don't know what is going on.

It took waaay longer than he told us initially. He was spreading himself too thin with another big job , and our took the back seat! That would have been nice to know upfront since we had a deadline. Pretty pricey, but he does good, solid work, is trust worthy and an all around great guy. Scruples in a contractor,

was very easy to work with. He answered all our questions and was very easy to work for. He did an excellent job on our repair.

Not good. No written estimate provided despite request for same. Based on phone conversation and quote, I gave go-ahead for mid-June but expected prior consultation before work began.
Quality of work was OK but I did not get the
Omaha Masonry Contractors Provider Name Locked
to express preferences as to how the work was to be done. Result was durable but lost "natural" feel of original work. May have been the right choice technically but I lacked the opportunity to express my view.
Waste material was left in front of home in plain sight for days before being picked up.
When invoice was received, it was for $1800 rather than the "$1500 to $1600" discussed on the phone. I split the difference and mailed a check for $1550. I am not sure how the contractor will react, but I am not pleased with the off-hand way this work was carried out.

a project among 4 neighbors to build a brick enclosure for our mailboxes. I was extra cautious about hiring a contractor because of poor experiences with previous contractors and because the project impacted my neighbors, not just me.
I wasn't familiar with

and contacted them based on the two previous reviews on Angieslist.
Omaha Masonry Contractors Provider Name Locked
quickly got back to me, evaluated the project and provided the lowest priced quote among 3.

and I agreed on a timeline for doing the work over the coming month and I hired him. As the project advanced, I got regular emails from

explaining exactly when he was going to come out and what he was going to do. Not only did he communicate, but he followed through, doing exactly what he said he was going to do when he said he was going to do it and finishing the project within the originally agreed-upon timeline.
The end product is beautiful. The pride in workmanship is obvious. The neighbors and I all love it. I am the hero for finding

Summary: Reasonably priced, communicated, followed through, was timely and did quality work. I will definitely contact him again if I need future masonry work.

completely remodeled our main bathroom. He removed our old Tile shower, took the existing walls down to the studs, moved our toilet from one location to another within the bathroom, and fabricated a custom Tile shower from our design and tiled our pattern exactly how we wanted it. He added an in-floor heating system, drywalled the entire bathroom, and tiled the bathroom floor. The work was completed within the estimated time frame, and he completed the project within our stated budget. I would recommend

to anyone who wants to have their bathroom remodeled or just needs some general carpenrty / Handyman services performed around the house.
