The service rep was unable to fix the computer as he said it was overheating and shutting itself off. He could do only software repairs. He did troubleshoot an additional computer I had to make it run faster, but I didn't see any noticeable difference afterward. The gentleman who was sent was awkward and uncomfortable.

This is my third and fourth respective transaction with Transform and they continue to amaze me. They are willing to tackle jobs that are somewhat unusual and I would/will absolutely return. They are honest, personable, knowledgeable and have reasonable prices.

My computer at work locked up and would not reboot right in the middle of a time sensitive Inspection report that took three hours to put together. Our usual IT company we have been using for the past ten years was too busy and the soonest they could help me would be a couple days out.

I called a business associate and told him my frustration in getting my computer up and running and he recommended this company to me. I called and was pleasantly surprised to get a live IT person answering the phone named
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
. She walked me through some tests over the phone and isolated what the problem was with my computer. There was a broken link to our main computer and she had me easily set up access for her to work remotely from our main computer. I knew that computer was due to be replaced next month because it was operating slow but I needed to get up and running ASAP. Our main computer was working so slow that when she would start the repair remotely it would time out after a few minutes of work. I told her we needed to get these computers up and running as it was costing us hundreds of dollars per hour without them operating.

said she could be out in twenty minutes and felt confident that she knew what the problem was and could get us up and running. Within a few hours she was able to fix our network and provide a patch using our tech's lap top to retrieve the Inspection report I thought was gone for good. There was also something wrong with our Windows program causing big problems she was able to fix right away. From the first contact it sure was refreshing to talk with an IT person that understood my technical problem AND my business problem of getting the computers up and running quickly.

was very professional, pleasant and knew computers. She had a special talent of communicating technical computer issues in a way that even I understood. Her quick response to get our computers up and running saved the company thousands in lost time and customer contacts.

I would highly recommend this company for computer issues and ask to speak with

and
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
have been trouble shooting computer problems for me for the last two years. When I purchased a large screen smart TV, they attached it to the wall and set it up, along with a DVD player and DVR. They also set up a smaller TV high on the kitchen wall, hiding all the wires. They also installed extra wifi capability so we can receive signals on our tablets at the pool which is quite far from the house. For the visit on 9/17/2014,
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
installed the new wireless adaptor to the smart TV and programmed it so we could watch Netflix and other network functions on the TV.

had been to the house a few days before to assess the problem and helped me order the new part. Because of their expertise, this company has grown to not only help individuals in their homes, but entire companies with setting up and maintaining their IT programs.

sold me a flat screen TV and wall mount along with cords, sound bar, device to hide cords in wall, and (expensive) universal remote. Since I know squat about this kind of technology I told them "I am counting on you guys to hook me up correctly according to what I want to use this for".
The salesperson sold me the wrong mount for the TV which I didn't know was wrong until the Geek Squad brought it to install. I said that's not the mount I picked out. That's not going to swivel 90 degrees! Nice. When they figured out which one was needed for the TV I bought it turned out I couldn't have the one I saw in the store and the right one had to be ordered. 2 More weeks went by. Once it was finally installed and I was watching it while walking on my treadmill I had the volume up to 45 and still could barely hear it. I thought good grief I'm the one telling my husband to turn the volume down all the time so it's not my hearing that's a problem. Come to find out after calling the store again, that apparently most flat screen TVs have tiny itsy bitsy speakers on the backside of the TV that don't really put out much volume and "most people buy additional speakers". REALLY?
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
then why didn't the salesperson suggest that to begin with? especially since I explained from the start that I'd be on a treadmill watching? Ok so I bought a sound bar, a NICE ONE, that was bluetooth capable whatever that means, and I had them mount it to the bottom of the TV up on the wall. Looked pretty good and I could finally hear it. And got the bluetooth to work besides! bonus! Then my husband says "lets swivel it so I can watch football on it. We tried to turn it and the mount was so stiff we could hardly move it. But the TV was sliding around on the mount as we pulled it! (?) AND the speaker that was mounted tight to the bottom of it loosened up and now hangs down a few inches! Ugh! The whole point was for it to be able to be used facing 2 different ways in the room and to be able to turn it EASILY. (And for it to be up high enough for me to see while on the treadmill) Oh and the universal remote... is made for babies fingers. I have slender fingers but the buttons on that thing are ridiculously small. Even the Geek Squad laughed at them. Had I known these things prior to buying I would NEVER have bought my TV there. I didn't save any money either so ...

I recommend going somewhere else cause it's quite an ordeal getting a wall mounted tv in your home that can swivel 90 degrees. Oh and did I mention I bought a Samsung? TV is great but we already have a Samsung bigscreen down in the man cave so 2 Samsungs in the same room ??? Not so good for remote control. It's a bit laughable I know. Aren't these things that someone who knows about TVs , sound bars, hooking them up , using the remotes ... should know? Oh well live and learn.

I travel a lot, my mom was complaining about her laptop, the keys were broken and it was acting very slow. I went on Angie's list,
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
had best reviews. He was getting ready to leave on vacation but helped my mom provide her computer specifics so he could order the replacement keyboard before he left. As soon as he returned from vacation, he picked up my moms computer, replaced the keyboard and then did a great analysis of what was slowing her computer down. He removed all the problems, and provided my 70 year old mother great training on how to use the spyware, anti virus programs. He made my mom very comfortable while I was not in town, I would highly recommend
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
to anyone who desires personal service with their computer problems. He was simply great.

The repair went very well. The repairman
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
was very professional. He listened to what I tried and failed at, and adjusted his deductions to quickly find out the problem. Apparently the problem was a corrupt windows update file. He described what he was doing (and why) as he went along. I also mentioned that I had a cap on how much I was willing to spend and he made it under it.

We have a completely wired network in our house (built c. 2000) much like an office. When we switched from Time
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
to Google Fiber we discovered that most of the computers in the house were 'only' able to get about 100mbs versus the 1,000mbs (1 gigabit) promised by Google. Google diagnosed the problem was in our wiring and not in their network so the

began for someone to help us resolve the problem.
In five years we've owned the home I've used three or four different IT companies to work on the network with varying degrees of satisfaction -- but all of them were less than ideal. For this project, I decided to try
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
after Googling around and trying to compare the various firms. Unfortunately,
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
did not have a review on Angie's List (until now!).

at
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
responded to my initial inquiry quickly and we scheduled a visit a few days later. He and one of his partners spent a couple of hours looking at all of the cat 5e outlets in the house (>30) and found that we did not have one problem (and thus one quick solution) but instead a series of small issues. They set about fixing the issues one by one. It took a few hours but on the first visit they fixed about 90% of the problems.
About a week later, they came back to help set up the new phone system (VOIP) and optimize the wifi network. They re-did some of their earlier work because they thought of a better way and -- much to their credit -- did not charge me for the extra time. I love that kind of attitude.
In summary, I was really pleased with their communication, follow-thru and professionalism. I will absolutely use them again.

Fabulously,
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
was great. He took time to explain to us exactly what he was doing and why, When he was unable to restore one program, he told me various ways that I might be able to get it restored without having to purchase another program. I followed his advice and got the program restored at no cost. He also cleaned my mass of wires behind the machine and neatly bundled them. My computer now works better than it has in years and my daughter's laptop is going great. I would highly recommend
Cooperstown Computer Repair Services Provider Name Locked
to anyone having problems with their equipment.
