/
Audi Timeline. Visited dealer had an agreement on a 2010 Q7 certified on 11/29/14. Sales rep calls on 12/2 to say the car needs 6,000 worth of work before they can certify it. Therefore they needed to raise the cost of the car. I waited a day to return call all the while the car was still listed on their website for same asking price as it was originally (no price increase after knowing of the additional work that was needed) yet they are asking for more monies from me. Keep in mind today (12/17/14) we are now 19 days after original deal and car is STILL listed on dealer site as available and certified. We go back in forth, as the dealer continues trying to get additional monies from me in order to certify the car or I can take it as is. Finally, they acknowledge that a deal has been made and they honor all aspects of the original deal. I am informed that they will let me know when all work is performed and ready to go. In order to be fair to all parties the deal moved locations one weekend and no work was performed but still does not excuse that 3 weeks later the first attempt at certifying the car had not yet begun. Yet they were already asking for additional monies and they hadn't ever fully assessed the car yet.... Read on. Called sales rep to follow up on status on 12/11. Three weeks later to follow up on status! Yes I had to call them too. No response. Call again on 12/12 to again try to get status update. No response Call again on 12/15 for status update. No response Call again for status update on 12/15. Finally reach the sales rep to find out that Audi said there is a squeal in the engine and they will not be able to diagnosis until the other work that needs to be done is first performed. Because of the cost to repair a 4 year old car with 48,000 miles they will send it to auction. The deal is off and there is nothing they can do. So after 3 weeks of waiting for my new certified car I am told to bad and the car is junk. No call from managers only conversations with the sales rep. A car that was $79,000 new 4 years ago is auction material. Yes, can you believe this. Absolutely 100% true. Think twice before your next Audi and don't patronize

" The first thing I noticed was a grating, incessant squeak coming from an area around the microwave. It made me wonder why that wouldn't have been fixed right away, especially" since it would've made a negative impression on people test driving it. Then lots of little things caught my eye; panels that didn't line up, gouges in the flooring, pin holes in the shades, exterior paint issues... During our "trial trip" it was explained to me that "this just happens with new motorhomes." I couldn't help but wonder how no one even bothered to turn on the televisions to see if they were fully functional (they weren't). We sent it back to get stuff fixed, from the minor (aforementioned televisions) to the major (line leak). Now it's time for the big trip. 13 states, 5,000 miles. The microwave squeak was still there and we discovered the navigation system didn't work. 5000 miles and no navigation. Thank God for the iPhone nav (not sure what we're gonna do in areas with no signal). What now? The radio is not working? We are driving across the country without music?! Well I guess we'll have to depend on watching movies to pass the time. But since the sound doesn't play through the motorhome speakers, the TV was inaudible. And the BluRay player doesn't seem to be hooked up to the back bedroom TV. (Even if it were, the player is located above the driver and the remote only works in direct line of sight). Well fortunately I brought my own Blue
PS3 to plug directly into the TV. Well, too bad because the TV's don't have HDMI inputs. It's 2015 and these Sansui TV's (yeah I never heard of them either) don't have HDMI inputs. Broken navigation, broken radio, no TV, annoying loud squeak... what else could go wrong? Well aside from the heater that stops for no reason, causing us to wake up with icicles on our eye lashes, and the engine cover on the INSIDE that is dangerously loose, I will tell you. After the first night, an extremely loud BEEP BEEP BEEP erupted from the console, telling us the
were down (they weren't), an issue that had supposedly fixed by the dealer. After several wasted hours trouble shooting, we decided they might need fluid. Shocker, the manual didn't indicate where that is located. We finally figured it out (it's under the stairs!) but the fluid was full. At one point 2 men and 3 Great
piled into the back bedroom to escape the grueling BEEP BEEP BEEP that the military probably uses for psychological torture. So will this roadtrip be remembered for singalongs in a brand new comfy motorhome to tour the country? Nope, it'll be remembered for constant squeaks, nails-on-chalkboard BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP, friends who could not interact due to the necessary headphones and ear plugs, and a motorhome dealer who has never heard of quality control. I'm not sure if this a result of poor assembly and design of the HOLIDAY RAMBLER VACATIONER, or a crappy QC-less dealer (

"Seamless. I was just a few miles out of warranty on my Cadillac when a headlight ( driving light) went out on one side. Due to the amount of parts that needed removed to get to it," it normally would be a rather expensive repair. The Service Manager went above and beyond to get the repair covered under warranty for a small deductible. Next day appointment and they even shuttled me to and from work while they were doing the repair. Very pleased. A++++

Sounds like your biggest problem will be narrowing your list to a limited number of models, and deciding what brand names you are willing to consider to narrow the field.

You can search for websites blogging complaints for each model you are considering to see how they rate with users, and you can also go to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration website at     www.nhtsa.gov     to see how many recalls there have been on a specific model and year.

Most dealers these days have websites with their listed prices for new and used cars that you can browse to get an idea of available listed prices.

I would also recommend that you check out the used car values (free) for models you might be interested in on    www.edmunds.com    and on Kelley Blue Book  -  www.kbb.com

Those 2 sources will give you a lot of negotiating power, because they list what the dealer pays the manufacturer on new cars, shows what people have been paying for each vehicle model and model year, and shows used valuations also. There are undoubtedly other such sources also - these are just the ones I have used and seem to be the best known.

I had looked all over for a quality used car at a reasonable price but all roads
Bottineau Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
to buy here pay here lots where they wanted to charge ridiculous fees and interest rates. A three thousand dollar car ended up being around seven thousand after dealer fees, and weekly payments. Then I drove through a warehouse district in Pompano Beach off Copans road just east of
Bottineau Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
Hwy. I saw a couple of young guys doing work on a warehouse and a couple detailing cars. I approached because there were ten or fifteen cars out front with prices on the windshield and they explained how they were a family run business started four years ago with nothing and have turned into a nice little dealership. The warehouse is beautiful and the cars are priced right. I needed a cheap reliable car for my son to get around in and they had a dodge neon for 2995. I expected to pay that plus a dealer fee plus title fee plus registration etc... To my surprise they said they don't charge any other fees besides sales tax and the price that the state charges for a new registration. The name Hustle seemed off putting at first but when I saw how much these guys busted their butts by doing all of the detailing and warehouse maintenance I saw that its not a name but their philosophy on work. All in all i have never had such a good experience buying a car new or used. Plus they gave me a free shirt which is actually pretty cool and wearable. I will be going back to Hustle for my next car definitely.

Street Tallahassee, FL 32304 December 10, 2014 RE: (VIN# removed) As you know, the 2006 BMW 325i we purchased from your dealership on Nov. 4, 2014 was in a state of disrepair upon purchase. The car bore a sign at time of purchase that read “30 day, 1000 mile warranty.” On Nov 5, I returned to your dealership with the car due to a brake indicator warning lamp as well as another indicator lamp that was illuminated before I even arrived at home with the car on Nov 4th. I was also concerned that the steering wheel was whining when turned. You sat in the car, turned the wheel and heard the sound. You told me “it will work itself out, if not bring it back in a week or so.” You should recall that you opened the hood and waited for the engine to cool down so you could remove the cap to the coolant reservoir. It appeared to be empty. You had a mechanic bring around a bottle of antifreeze and poured it in saying it just needed coolant, everything is fine. 2 weeks later the car was deemed not operable without a new coolant tank, lower radiator hose and a new sensor. A $410.00 repair. Please see attached estimate. Also please notice that the mileage at the time of the estimate is less than a 1,000 miles and fewer than 30 days from the date of purchase. When I spoke with your office manager she informed me that you were out of the country for several weeks and I would have to wait for your return and you would be in touch with me. Clearly several weeks have passed and you have not contacted me as promised to resolve these matters.

You stood in front of your establishment the day I bought the car and told me that the brakes on the car I was buying had been replaced and everything was good, but the indicator light just needed to be reset to turn it off. "Go to BMW they can turn it off for you.” The fact was, that your mechanics put the brake pad sensors on the wrong wheels, left front to right rear, right rear to left front. In doing so, they broke the car side of the connectors forcing them in and cross threaded a lug ruining it. When I took it to a brake specialist to have the indicator reset I was told that "whoever worked on this car had no idea what they were doing and had no business working on brakes!" When I brought this to your office manager’s attention, she informed me that she had contacted you and respond to this issue by making a loan payment for me that will not cover the cost of the repairs. Please see attached receipt for the brake repair reflecting the notes from the brake specialist regarding the left rear wheel bolt being cross threaded when the brakes were worked on prior to my purchase. The lug has not been fixed at this time, rendering me vulnerable to yet, another repair cost I should not be responsible for. While no one at your dealership has contacted me or made any effort to resolve these repair issues the situation has escalated to the point where I am stranded without transportation. This situation left me no option other than to seek legal advice. I am, at this time, giving you 10 business days to respond to this communication and resolve these issues. If you choose not to resolve this I will then contact The FL Bureau of Consumer Affairs, The Better Business Bureau, The Florida Department of Professional Regulation, and will proceed with a formal complaint through my attorney, seeking repair costs as well as attorney fees and court costs. While I understand you are in the business to profit, you told me that you couldn't sell the 2011
Bottineau Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
forte with 33,000 miles that I was trading in on your lot..."it will go to auction, no one wants a
Bottineau Auto Sales Provider Name Locked
". You gave me $5500 for it. You are now selling it for $11,000 on your lot. I believe there is room here for you to do the right thing. Not doing so would be shameful, morally, ethically, and fundamentally wrong. THE MANAGEMENT AT THIS DEALERSHIP STOPS WORKING WITH YOU THE MINUTE YOU SIGN! don't DO IT! THEY LIED, CHEATED, AND BEHAVED LIKE THEIVES.
