Dr
is a good doc overall, however I will not go back to him. Within minutes of telling him my symptoms, he was recommending
bladder surgery. Before I even had a single test. Seems like all docs do these days is offer pills or surgery as an option. I had a blood and urine test and an abdominal ultrasound scheduled. After the blood and urine tests came out normal, I cancelled the ultrasound and embarked on my own journey to health. Surgery should not be the FIRST option! The doc did me a favor in the end ~ his approach to my care
me to find better ways to manage my health through nutrition - something most docs know very little about. I can't blame Dr
for his approach - it's what they all do these days. He's a fine choice if you're just looking for a cookie cutter approach to your health management.

She is excellent, really smart and skilled. She is up on the latest medical news. As such she is able to evaluate me and tell me what is new and what she recommends. When I went to her about losing weight and told her about a weight loss program I heard about, she said that she heard about it and recommends it for me. She is really pro-active.

I have been seeing Dr.
Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
since 2003, about 2-3 times a year. Every ailment I had, no matter what it was, he knew how to treat it. He is literally batting 100% with me. He is the best family physician I have ever had. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a family physician!

He is terrific guy. I was looking for someone who knows about nutrition and he is a tri-athlete. He practices what he preaches. He does know something about nutrition and he doesn’t think I am a health nut. I beat cancer by being on an anti-cancer diet and my oncologist wasn’t interested. The last visit was all good. If you go and see him and if you want to talk about something he would give you all the time that you need so the next patient sometimes has to wait a little while.

I was very pleased with the services provided during both visits. They were personal, considerate, professional, and knowledgeable. He was willing to work me in for an emergency visit.

I have seen Dr.
Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
on several occasions over the past 3+ years for routine check-ups and various health issues. I am completely satisfied with him as a primary care physician. He seems to be very knowledgeable. He is also friendly, concerned, a good listener, down-to-earth, and easy to talk to. What more can a patient ask for? The fact that he is not always readily available for appointments is, I'm sure, a reflection of his popularity with other patients.

I arrived and was seen in a reasonable amount of time (15-20 minutes). Dr.
Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
always listens and is very nice. I had problems with sleeping, fatigue, and breathing. She prescribed medicine that seems to actually work, and gave me a good referral to a sleep specialist who was also very qualified. She took the time to listen and seems to care very much about her patients. She even remembered that we had just had a baby. Very good bedside manner!
Sometimes she is a bit passive in her communication and I wonder what she is thinking, but any question I ask her is answered with care and consideration. I liked her as a doctor so much that I have stayed with her even though she now only works Mondays and Wednesday, which is my only real gripe. I recommend her. She seems to care and know what she is doing.

Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
:

Pros:
Multiple locations.
Close to Hospital for emergency transfer.
Modern equipment, techniques.
Large staff with different expertise.

Cons:
Impersonal. (Patients transferred from one MD to another without notice. Infectious Diseases collects charges for visit at sign-in before diagnosis or treatment. Turnover of Check-in personnel appears to be four months.)
Specialists not available for consultation. Speak with a nurse or referring MD. Specialists seem very much like car mechanics on an assembly line.
Money first. ( frequently crowded waiting

Appointment was made only a few days in advance. I am new to the area and they were able to get some of my information from their system. Filling out the initial visit forms was what I would consider typical. They took me back on time. Wait in the examining room was a bit long, about 30 minutes. Experience with Dr
Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
was good. He listened. Seemed to ask appropriate questions. Ordered an ultra sound. Nothing found. Ordered XRAY. Nothing again. Ordered MRI through

Dr.
Wilmington Family Practice Doctors Provider Name Locked
is a great guy. He takes an interest and communicates well. I would say he leans toward a more casual treatment style (few unnecessary tests and prescriptions) which I and my family prefer. Tolerant of questions and seems open to patient ideas if the patient thinks it will help and Dr.

sees no harm in them (even though he may not personally see a benefit). He's also a good lifestyle coach - he knows how to encourage right behaviors without being obnoxious.
