"This company was very professional. Always called when they were 20 min away in their 2 hour window. Very polite and cleaned up after they were done. Will use them again!

-Melody B.

"So, we had used
's company before for the 2 bathrooms upstairs. I would say if he is doing small projects, a bathroom or something," that's involving, he's incredibly good at that and we were impressed with the work that he did. So, we went with him for the whole downstairs. We had 90% of the downstairs tiled and he did a good job on that. He did a good job in a number of other areas but I think it as just a little bigger than he would normally do. If you have him do a small job he does very good. If you get him into a larger job that takes a few months and there are some complexities, if you get outside of his skill set you are going to run into some problems. We ran into some problems and the project was delayed more than once. His customer skill set when he does run into a problem, and I talked to him about this more than once, it kind of goes away. He doesn't like to talk to you. He knows he's right, he knows you're wrong and that's the end of the conversation. He's very strong personality. He's very gifted with anything to do with slate, granite, rocks, marble. He did a guest bath upstairs and it's just gorgeous. It is so well done that if there was an earthquake, I would go in there. It's like a tank. I watched him build it and I couldn't believe it. Overall, his skill set with those types of things is excellent. We went over time wise and the reason we went over time wise he would come in at 10 and leave at 1 and tomorrow I'll put in a whole day and it never happened. I talked to him at length about it.

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Marble And Granite reviews in Wilkesboro

He’s excellent. It took him from March – April to do the work in the bathroom, and he finished the kitchen in May. He was marvelous about cleanup. He's definitely an artist at what he does. We have a niche in the shower area, and he carried the seam all the way through for a seamless look.

My wife and I spent a day going to numerous Granite countertop suppliers in Nashville. The Last stop was

was my salesperson. He answered all of our questions and told us how they operated, then let us walk thru their massive collection of slabs, to chose our granite. He told us how to read the pricing on the slabs. We chose our Granite and left.
When we were ready for them to Template our Kitchen, I called
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and made the appointment for my template and an install date at the same time.

showed up early and in less than an hour had perfect templates of our

called the next day and took a 50% deposit. They called 2 days before my install appointment and said they could come a day early if I wanted. Unfortunately I couldn't take them up on this. On the scheduled day they showed up early and prcoceeded with the install. They inadvertently made an error cutting my Cooktop opening, rendering that section of granite not useable. I thought to myself"This is gonna take another week to complete now". The installer simply called the shop, they took my template for that section, and cut another piece of granite. In just a couple of hours of the initial mistake, my kitchen was done! These guys were prompt, courteous and very professional. Great Service! Great prices! No I don't work there! But I will shop there again for my Bath remodel!

Everything was very easy and the installation went very smoothly. It only took 2 days and they also did the bathroom cabinets and counters. Technicians were very friendly and everything was cleaned up perfect when they were done. Also the price was extremely reasonable considering that we have granite now. Anything you need talk to
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
and he'll make sure you get the best rate in the area. All the other places I checked with charged more and the labor was more expensive too.

Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
was a granite company chosen for me by Tailor Made Kitchens. I chose the color and level of granite through the decorator and made my decision based on what I could afford. I splurged a little and went to a level II granite with nice edging. Big investment for us and very exciting. I believe the complete turnaround time may have been 3 days - wow, that is fast! When I got home and saw the gaps between the granite and my kitchen wall, I was so disappointed. I placed a call to the decorator, who called the kitchen people, who called the granite people. Additionally, the installers left open razorblades and an open can of acetone on the floor? I cleaned up the mess and left post-it notes on the areas of concern (rough corners and a 1/2 gap filled with a clear gel). The installers came a second time and did not address the areas of concern (I could not be home to oversee due to family medical issue). Some seams were filled with a black residue of some type, post-its removed and not addressed. Rough areas and 1/2" gap not addressed. More open razorblades left on floor. Third visit, had everyone on site pointing fingers. They sawed into the wall and pushed counter, but still left large gap. I also noticed during this visit that the motion of the granite did not flow from one side of the

to the other. They asked if I wanted them to cut another piece and I declined - this was the best of the troubles. The solution offered by the kitchen company was to take backsplash outside of cabinet area or put a "patch" piece of granite over the gap. I did not want six inches of backsplash to run beyond my cabinets as I had seen examples of this on the internet and though it looked odd. We have a small black "patch" of granite at the end of our

/bar to cover the remaining gap. On a second visit, I would think a manager would have come to the job to view the areas of concern. Only on the third complaint did a manager come to my home and even then did not seem apologetic. The "patch" was applied on visit four by the guys who installed the backsplash. This was an unpleasant experience for us.

I purchased and had installed an 8 foot piece of granite for my man cave wet bar. I was directed to their warehouse by a small granite shop on Greenville to pick out a piece that would fit. The choices at
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
were overwhelming, they had so much to choose from. Once I decided on a piece we negotiated the price and scheduled a templating. Their template guy showed up right on time and took a lot of measurements. He took my undermount sink and was in and out of the house in less than 20 minutes. A few days later my granite arrived. They were about an hour outside of the 2 hour window I had scheduled for delivery, but called ahead to let me know they were running behind. The two gentlemen showed up with the granite with the sink already mounted to it. They installed it, cut out the holes for my sink, beer tower, and beer drain. Everything went smoothly and they communicated throughout the process, making sure everything was to my liking.
The only negative comment I would have is that the installers wore ZERO protective equipment. No safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves or steel toe boots. I was quite surprised they were hauling a 300 lb piece of granite up the stairs with sneakers.

I highly recommend
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
. They offered the perfect slab of quartz for my kitchen remodel at a cost much lower than the "big box" home improvement stores. Installation was two weeks from the initial measure and their work was immaculate.

I did my home remodel in 2 phases. The first phase was not quite a disaster, but close. Generally speaking, there are a lot of contractors out there who don't have the slightest idea what they are doing. Honestly, it is difficult to find a contractor with any integrity at all (from my personal experience) I found
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
on Angie's list. When I did my kitchen in phase 1, I used a different granite company, their prices were great, but their ability to communicated and to be on time was horrible. When I went to Angie's list to find someone who I could trust I had already been burned previously, so I was skeptical at best. But for $10 I thought that I would try Angie's List. I called several granite companies and kind of felt like I was getting the same crap that I got on Phase 1. No one would give me any kind of an estimate without coming out to measure for themselves (I'm not an idiot, I can measure a rectangular 84" X 22" granite slab. Obviously not for the install, but all that I needed was a ball park number so that I could budget for phase 2.
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
gave me an estimate over the phone and although they were not the cheapest, they were competent on every level. They even laid down a tarp where ever they walked in my house while they were working. Some of the other companies just walked in, made a mess and then left, leaving us a ton of clean up. I can confidently recommend
Wilkesboro Natural Stone Tile Provider Name Locked
for any of your counter top needs
