Our car is 20 years old and in excellent condition but the leather seats had dry rotted over the years and we wanted the seats re-done with new leather. We talked to
, the owner, and he came out to the car with leather samples. We picked the one that most closely matched the original
and he ordered the covers. They came in about a week later. I dropped off the seats and they were done in a couple of days.
even delivered them to the body shop that was re-painting the car and didn't charge us for the delivery. The seats looked great. A small glitch developed on the passenger seat a couple of weeks later and they took care of it with no problem. The job turned out great and the price was very reasonable. I also spoke with
on a number of occassions and he was very helpful. The ladies on the phones are very polite. I liked working with all of them.

Emailed Rich to help me with a situation with my older aftermarket radio / satellite radio install in my 2008 Pilot. He contacted me right away with immediate suggested details on replacing potentially replacing the unit with a brand new one and suggested an appointment to come up to take a look at the install and discuss my options. He is completely mobile, and worked around my busy week day schedule to accommodate a Saturday morning appointment. Very convenient to have the service come to you rather than you have to drive to the service, especially driving from central
to north
! Rich was punctual with his appointment time and even sent me a text message when he was leaving. Upon arrival we discussed general logistics of what I was looking and what my problems with the existing install were and he took a look at the install and confirmed that the best solution to have a fully operational unit was to replace it with a newer model and suggested Pioneer unit, with all new components(satellite, camera, stereo). There was never any pressure to up-sell or oversell anything in fact suggested an alternate model but still went with the top of the line since I was already investing money into the install and was hoping the install would be done professionally and accurately. He provided me a verbal estimate on the spot and I accepted the work proposal as it was quite fair and competitive in price. We then scheduled the following Saturday morning to do the installation after he acquired the parts needed and promptly arrived Saturday morning with all the parts needed and got right to work. Needless to say, thank you Rich for the work effort you completed on my car. The previous installer did a lot of unnecessary work for the previous install and some of the cables were even loose (which could explain why the stereo was malfunctioning) and took Rich a lot longer than anticipated to complete the job as he had to completey undo the previous job and redo the new job, but professionally and accurately did complete the job with a new unit that is completely functional. Very impressed indeed. In fact, even a follow up message after a few days to make sure things were still good. Most definitely one of the better experiences I have had with someone and will definitely keep him in mind for future jobs and highly recommend!

I have a 2009

and had tried (and failed) to get a remote start installed for it a few months back. I really wanted a remote start as I had it in a prior car and really enjoyed it. With the Indiana winters only getting worse and wanting to keep my car for as long as possible, I sought out another provider of the Viper remote start, which my research showed was the best option for a

I e-mailed Audio Outfitters and

e-mailed me back right away and asked me to come in for a quote and to see what was available. I was a little upset at first, I admit, but as soon as I came in i was immediately impressed-

recognized my name and remembered what kind of car I had. He showed me the different types of remote start systems and based on my car, showed me what would be appropriate for my car.
I appreciated his attention to detail.
We were able to schedule a time 3 days from the initial consultation. I came in that morning, dropped off the car, and 6 hours later came back to a working remote start! I was beyond thrilled!
They took the time to go over everything with me and make sure I understood how it worked. I couldn't be more pleased with the experience.

does most of his work on site, wherever your car is. He worked in our garage for five hours to install the new stereo. I came out to take a look at his work throughout the project. He was methodical, meticulous, and the results are extremely professional. He saved all of the old pieces so that I could return the car to stock if I ever sell it. He quoted us for other projects such as radar and lidar detectors and blockers, and I wouldn't hesitate to hire him again for those projects.

It is with very mixed emotions that I write this review/complaint – but it has been seven (7) months of phone calls without a response and I feel I’ve got no other recourse.
Wake Forest Car Audio Repair Provider Name Locked
was recommended to me by a good friend in the auto repair business. The OEM radio/navigation unit in my 2010 CX-9 died, and I reached out to
Wake Forest Car Audio Repair Provider Name Locked
and his wife to see whether it could be repaired. It took a bit of time to arrange the initial visit (I knew from the reviews and from my friend that getting initially in contact could take a little time), but when they made the appointment, they stuck to it. I had already removed the head unit, they took it with them. Ultimately it could not be fixed so I purchased a new head unit for installation and arranged for that to be done in early December 2013 before a long drive to Florida.

and his wife arrived the morning of our departure and completed the install. I paid the $175 for the head-unit diagnosis and installation (which I thought was quite reasonable). It immediately became apparent that: (1) the SIRIUS antenna would need to be relocated (he put it in the dash hoping it would provide enough line of site for it to work properly); and (2) the backup camera had not been wired up. I didn’t think it was a big deal – I called
Wake Forest Car Audio Repair Provider Name Locked
, left a message, and just said we would deal with it when we were back in the area later in a week or so.
That then began the pattern of non-responded to phone calls and emails which has continued to this day.
Initially I thought the holidays got in the way.
Then I thought that they were suffering family health or other issues.
My friend didn’t know what happened.
I then saw that they were certainly still in business, and completing work, based on the Angie’s List review from early May.
Multiple times since December I have asked for them to contact me, to get it scheduled, etc. or I was going to write a negative Angie’s List Review, make a BBB complaint, etc. No response.
While they seem to be good people, I find the pattern of non-responsiveness utterly unacceptable – I would suggest if looking for an install or service work to select someone else.

I brought it my vehicle for a diagnostic check of the stereo audio and battery charging systems. (The former appeared to be draining the latter.)

' manager (

) and his technical crew completed within hours that same afternoon a thorough (one-hour) electrical diagnostic check ($65) and identified two causative factors (one with the radio and another more important one in a non-radio component (GEM) under the dash. (Only weeks earlier, my regular auto mechanic, who's pretty good, was unable to identify these causes.)

and his crew then walked me through their diagnosis, using their equipment to demonstrate their discoveries. They then outlined for me the solutions. That's all I needed that day from them.
No hard sells. No unprofessional behavior. Just top-notch folks doing a great job running a young business. I won't hesitate going back whenever there's a future need.

The manager
Wake Forest Car Audio Repair Provider Name Locked
was good in showing me different shades of tinting and recommending which to have applied. Tinting was done on all of the side windows and the rear window within a few hours. After application, I was instructed not to roll down the windows for five days and to leave the car out in the sun as much as possible. Bubbles could be seen but I was told that they would go away within 10 days. If not, then I had the option of bringing the car in to be checked. So far, the tinting seems adequate in reducing the intensity of sunlight but doesn't do much to reduce the interior heat. Only a few very small bubbles remain. According to the sales receipt, there is a life time warranty on the tinting. I did not receive a copy of the warranty but plan to go back and ask for it. Window cleaning was not discussed but some literature recommends not using ammonia based cleaners on the tint. I decided to have the tinting applied primarily based on the price as I only plan on keeping the car for a few years. Quotes from other retailers were at least twice as high compared to what I paid. The actual quality of the tinting material might be questioned based on the very low price but I am satisfied with it. If heat reflection is a big concern, then consideration might be given to more expensive tinting products. Overall, I would encourage anyone looking for tinting at a reasonable price to check this place out.

The installation fit/finish of the double DIN unit was excellent, but the sound quality was a major disappointment. It took a few months to figure out why. They failed to hook the new head unit to the already installed

factory amplifier. I did this work myself and voila, it sounds *much* better now. This oversight is something a professional sound installer would never do, especially for a $1000+ basic head unit swap. I am also disappointed with the Clairon head unit and that was the "best they had" according to the sales person at any price. It has Bluetooth connect/reconnect issues (the Alpine in my other vehicle does not) and the old factory

Head unit had better sound quality hands down. Maybe they should consider carrying better brands?
