"They have stayed late to accommodate me and fit me in when I needed to change appointments. Dr.
is both very caring and personable. The" physical therapists who work with him are equally as caring and very concerned about the patient’s rehab.

"They're very accommodating. The people that work there are very competent. I've had great success with going to therapy there. They're also friendly.

5 questions to ask before starting physical therapy

Are you in need of physical therapy? Make sure to ask a prospective physical therapist these five questions before making a hiring decision.

Physical therapy

A physical therapist evaluates, diagnoses and treats parts of the body that aren’t functioning properly, are healing or need rehabilitation, whether they’re athletes, the elderly or the rest of us.

Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

On this episode of Chat with the Experts, Brian Pease of Body One Physical Therapy explains how physical therapy can help with chronic pain and much more.

Improved flexibility can make it easier to hold proper positions and reduce the risk of injury, says Lewis. (Photo by Karen Geswein)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

To avoid repetitive motion injury and a need for physical therapy, frequent position changes and simple stretches are important at the computer or on the road.

Degenerative disc disease can lead to a chronic debilitating condition and can have a serious negative impact on a person's quality of life, says Strader. (Photo courtesy of Advanced Physical Therapy Center)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

Degenerative disc disease is a normal part of aging for the spine that can be extremely painful. Physical therapy can help strengthen your back and reduce pain.

Carpal tunnel syndrome occurs when the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand, becomes pressed or squeezed at the wrist, says Strader. (Photo courtesy of Advanced Hand Rehab)
Rehabilitation - Physical Therapy

The pain in your wrists and forearms that comes with carpal tunnel syndrome is fortunately something that can be avoided with a few simple habits.

It's the desire to meet my personal needs that stood out. The one on one attention. I've been to other physical therapy places where they have 3 patients they are working with at once. This place they work on one person at a time.

For my rehab, I used
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
. We were thrilled with them. They were great. I can't say enough good things about them.
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Rehab, I would give them an 'A' plus. He is a member of
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
but the rehab is separate within the building. It is Dr
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Hall. He is for our physical therapy. They are very caring and patient. He was listening to me and approaching problems that no one else had found and this is how I ended up with braces for my feet. He and his entire staff was compassionate. They let me know that this is what we have got to do and we are going to make this as comfortable as possible. I always felt safe. There was a social security there that is good for the patient. They were always in control. They were punctual. They were friendly. Even after he has released me, he said you call me anytime you need to and I will try to help you out all I can and there has never been a charge for that. It has always been that he has a concern for his patients. I would rate him 'A's across the board. The billing was great. They have got back to us to try to help. I would grade them and 'A' through all of the categories, I would give them an 'A' plus if I could. I will definitely use them again in the future. My wife is going to have to have some and this is the only place we want to go. I have been through other physical therapies over the years and this one is by far the best.

It's a newer facility and everything is real clean and updated and people are really nice. The water therapy there is great. They work in conjunction with a local hospital to provide physical therapy services. The staff are excellent and very helpful. Their physical therapy staff is quite good and they have some therapists in the the aqua therapy part that I swear have mysterious, magical powers of healing. They did a really great job with me. They have a hot tub in the main pool area. That's nice. It's a large pool. They have the separate therapy pool which is kept at about 93 degrees all the time. Then in the actual Y, they have a big swimming pool with a whirl pool. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

They're great. Their location is very nice. I told my brother about them and now he goes. I used different workers and they all knew what they were doing. They really helped me overcome my problems. They do a wonderful job there. I'd tell others to go there. The way I found them was from a neighbor who had used them. It's top notch and I really like them.

Been there for my entire spine and this last visit was for 2 months exercising my new right shoulder. Every time I go there I always come out better than going in. The staff is caring, knowledgeable and what can you way about them when you have been going to physical therapy for 45 years in different states and I have found they are the best of the best.

I started going to him last October and saw him 2 times weekly through December. My husband also went to him for a frozen neck and back pain. We had both been to another PT and Chiropractor and were not improving.
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
Zillmann spends the whole hour working on your body to help you. No machines, etc. He did give us a few home exercises but his working on us helped the most. My husband can now move his neck and the constant neck pain is gone. I would recommend him highly for any physical therapy needs. He is in the office of Dr.
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
and has his office and therapy room there. There is also a deep tissue massage lady named
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
in the practice who is the best I have ever gone to. She can loosen the knots in your muscles and you go out feeling terrific.

They're quite well established and they have every piece of equipment. They even have a heated pool which was what I like. I've been using them since 2002. I'll use the word technically savvy, but

Cope, one of the owners, fixed my poor rotator cuff just through exercise. It's very good. They're very good.

I like everything about them! I started going here because I had a bad fall down stairs. I had a bruised tailbone and concussion and it did a number on my back. I had really bad lower back and neck pain that was debilitating. I was referred here from my doctor and almost immediately my quality of life improved from the services they offer.
Smithfield Physical Therapists Provider Name Locked
quickly assessed the issue and gave me test to tell me exactly what was wrong and put together a treatment plan. The neck pain is no longer an issue and my back pain was getting better.

They have a laser treatment that forces the muscles to relax. It’s super soothing and I think that was the main thing that helped get rid of my neck problems completely. They have state of the art equipment and everyone I’ve interacted with is super professional and amazing at their job. I’ve had a great experience here from everyone! They are all amazing!
