"Excellent service and design help.
we was responsive to our needs and provided good recommendations to ensure we received the best layout" for out kitchen. The price is great, but the options are limited. If they have what you need it is great. This is a good lower price option for kitchen cabinets (full custom cabinets would have been twice the price). The cabinets look great and have held up very well over with no issues since installation over 2 months ago. Customer service from
Cabine Store was top notch, they were responsive through out the entire process, especially after all the work was done they helped out solve some minor issues as no additional cost. Will definitely use them again and have recommended them to several friends.

"We could not be happier with the final product and design. My wife and I are ecstatic with the final kitchen. They helped us design every detail of the layout," cabinet types, colors, counter tops and kitchen flow. Their pricing was very competitive for the quality that we had chosen for cabinets and counter top. The work was performed along with 3 other contractors doing work on the renovation and they were excellent at fitting into the project schedule. We could not have asked for a better experience and final product. The attention to detail matched our expectations (which were very high). I would highly recommend Absolute.
were great!

Artificial (quartz) is cheaper, more uniform, has fewer voids to collect dirt, and is almost as abrasion and chip resistant.

Granite is more expensive, stains and collects dirt a little easier as a rule, and is slighly more chip resistant as a rule.

For durability, I would not rate one over the other - barring a 250 lb guy hopping up on it and cracking it, either is likely to outlive you. Selection is typically based on appearance - quartz tends to be more uniform looking and does not always do a good job of simulating the veining and variations that natural stone has.

Now some of the man made stone counters rival the real granite and othe stones without the maintainence of stone. There are many of them out there and it is more a choice of looks than anything else. Corian is still a strong choice of tops today and one advantage is it can be repaired when scratched on site. If you don't mind the maintainence you can't beat the looks of real stone though unless you need a few pieces to make up the top as the graining may be hard to match up. I am impressed though at how realistic some of the man made products have become. It is more an issue of what brand are available in your area. Most all are made the same way with crushed stone and basically an epoxy binder used to make the sheets.

Countertop Installation reviews in Nags Head

We are very happy with
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Cabinet Store. We had our kitchen remodeled and also had some hardwood flooring installed. I had a few competitors come out for estimates in which we felt
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Cabinet had a fair quote and great customer service. Their products were very impressive at the showroom.
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
as our Kitchen Designer/Project Manager was very responsive and very helpful throughout the process. He was patient with
answering our questions and concerns and made the process as easy as possible. We were very impressed with the quality of their products and their workmanship of their contractors. The hardwood installers seemed to go above and beyond to ensure the floors looked perfect.I would highly recommend this company to my friends and family. Those that have seen the new kitchen and floors are very impressed with the job. I can now say I have a beautiful kitchen. When it comes time to do some updates on my bathroom I will definitely call them.

First, I have to say I was impressed with the responsiveness of
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
when I first came into their store. Using just the photos I had they provided me with a ballpark cost for the kitchen. I hadn't planned on being able to afford to do the bathroom too.

know there business inside & out and made suggestions that I would have never thought of. I'd never redone a kitchen before.
They had a sampling of granite at their store but sent me down to their granite supplier to pick out what I wanted. My selection was marked and held for me for 3 weeks until I closed on my home and could get
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
in to do a template. I had him measure the bathroom while he was at in just in case.
After making a few modifications on what I wanted I was provided with a invoice for $3,800 to do both the kitchen and the bathroom. I expected the bill to be at least that much for just the kitchen. I also changed out the profile of my kitchen counters by adding a slide in range. That meant the counter could be in 2 pieces rather than one which was a cost savings.
It took a week to fabricate my
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and the installers showed up on time. The kitchen took longer to install because I was using an under-mount sink. My sink was bigger than the cabinet and they asked permission to trim it out. They could have done that without asking but they were very conscientious of what I wanted. I did my best to stay out of there way but a couple times I asked about things that didn't seem right and they assured me they were still in the process of making adjustments and there wouldn't be an issue with them. True to their word the end product is amazing!
The bathroom was simpler because I chose a drop in sink. They cut the sink opening on site and the bathroom was done in what seemed like minutes. After both counters were installed they were cleaned, repeatedly, and sealed twice. In between each sealing there was a 40 minute wait time in which they explained to me how to care for my new countetops.
When they were done they left me a couple of good size pieces. One I used to

for backsplash. The other is large enough to use as a tabletop between my patio chairs.

Amazing price for such quality granite. We were even able to select the pieces that we wanted to use. Great install team - very professional, efficient, and hard working. Nice clean up after project was done. Reserve your date early as they are very busy!

Pricing was excellent and
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
the owner was able to refabricate our old kitchen granite in the bathrooms which we were very happy about. However, after we picked out our new granite slabs for the kitchen, things started sliding down hill. We do not think actual templates were made of our cabinet tops prior to fabrication but that the fabrication was performed on measurements alone. Further, we needed four holes drilled for our sink faucet (a bridge faucet) and accessories and we clearly marked the location.
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
's worker,
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, instead drilled a hole in the center for the kitchen sink which ruined a piece of granite. Their fix was to take a remaining remnant of the granite slab which had imperfections and replace the ruined piece of granite. Also when the kitchen granite came, there were imperfections along the

of the granite in many places and on the face of the island granite. It was like pulling teeth dealing with

to get him to fix these imperfections and he was not taking appropriate time to get the color of the epoxy right to fix the imperfections and to make the seams as tight as possible.
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was careless by damaging our cabinetry and dropping things in our farmhouse sink and was not disciplined in his installation. The last straw came when we noticed scratches on the face of the island granite and

did not seem to have an explanation for how the scratches occurred nor a way to fix them. So while they kept offering to make things right, they had no ability/desire to do so and we finally just paid them to go away. Fortunately, one of our other contractors has the right equipment to

Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and his installers did a great job on our kitchen countertops and kitchen island. Very professional and easy to work with. He will be helping us with a custom countertop and backsplash for our bathroom remodel next month.
- P G.

It didn't. When I left a message, I was told the owner was taking a vacation and would get back to me on the next business day, which didn't happen. I would have been willing to work with this contractor had they been more responsive and let me know the reason for the non-communication.
- G C.

This is a review of the installation of our countertops, I wrote a review on 9/25 of the process up to this point.

We were given an installation window (8 - 10 AM) and the installers arrived in that window. They laid runners throughout the house to protect the floors and carpeting that they would be walking on. They went right to work and we are so happy with the results. Our kitchen is a U-shape with a peninsula and a separate computer desk. As a result, the granite was installed in 6 pieces. The team did a great job in picking where to make the cuts to ensure that the granite flowed well and that the grain was going in the same direction throughout the kitchen. The seam we were most concerned about was off the peninsula and the most visible. We are thrilled with the match and the quality of the installation.

Because we had existing travertine tile on our backsplash, they installed filler strips to raise the height of the cabinets (because the
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
we replaced was thicker than the granite). They also added strips to the front of our cabinets to cover the filler strips. These were stained to match our existing cabinets and we can't tell the difference - it looks like they were installed with the cabinets.

All the countertops were installed beautifully and we are so happy with our selections and the results.

We scheduled a follow up visit with
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
(our designer) to pick out tile for our backsplashes in the bathrooms and computer desk. We opted not to do the traditional granite backsplash. Knowing that we plan to do additional upgrades to our master bath shower and floor next year,
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
helped us with selections for the backsplash as well as ideas of how they would incorporate with our selections down the road. Because our computer desk is off the kitchen, she helped us select a tile that would compliment the existing kitchen backsplash. She is very creative and well versed in their product selections and what is trending as well as what will give us the most out of our remodel (for resale down the road).

Our experience with
Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
is that they are a one-stop-shop. They will be our first stop for all our future upgrades.

We visited his showroom and were immediately impressed. His samples and design of kitchens in showroom where beautiful. Then

Nags Head Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and a helper returned to install and always a call to say they were on their way. They were in and out so fast but did a fantastic job at the installation. When they left everything was left like when they got there. they are very clean. They whole experience was a joy. Especially looking at my new countertops.
