Business Description: Your Inspection Expert is a home inspection company. Our inspectors are certified by InterNACHI (The International Association of Certified Home Inspectors). We have the proper state licenses for each inspection. Our inspectors are well trained and have many years experience in construction science. This gives us the knowledge to do a better, more thorough inspection. We also provide optional services like radon testing and water testing. Our reports include photographs and are easy to read. Our inspections take about 4 hours and your report is usually produced and sent out within a day. We can print the report and mail it to you or email it (for a discount). Our pricing is about the same as other local inspectors. The fee is based on the size of the home, its age, and the options you choose. We also offer some discounts. About the Owner and Inspector, Richard C. MacCrea: He has been working in the field of construction science since 1985. His experience includes green, energy efficient design and planning and structural design and planning. In addition to the education for home inspection, he has taken classes in the residential hurricane code, energy code, structural design, window technology, and a green building contractor's course. He has designed and planned several homes that cost very little to heat and cool. Our mission is to help our client with the difficult decision of purchasing a home. We do this by educating our client about the issues involved. Our reports include photos and explanations that are easy to understand. We make ourselves available to answer any questions.
