. Had a few jobs around the house and had contacted a couple other handymen listed here on Angie's List. One came out and looked at the work and promised to get back with an estimate and we ...more never heard from him again. Another called once and didn't return another phone call. We found
through a Big Deal that we purchased and he called back the same day we called him and made an appointment for the following week (today). I showed him the work that needed to be done and said that I understood if he couldn't get it done in one day but he just started to make a list of things that he needed to do the work and I offered to go pick them up so he could maximize his time working. To my shock he finished everything in one day and the work was excellent. He was professional, friendly, courteous and his fee was extremely fair. I couldn't recommend him any higher. Be careful of people who call themselves a "handyman" but balk at
knows his stuff and has pride in his work. What more could you ask for?"

"In spite of the fact that the extent of these repairs were disruptive,
made the ordeal as painless as possible. His team took the utmost care to focus on fixing the damage without any unneccesary work. For example, we had a small ...more area of hardwoods with cupping in a corner.
and team knew that no repair would be needed as, once dry, the flooring would go back into shape. Other companies told me I would have to repair and refinish all my hardwoods to match. The cupped area was 3" by 6" , yet I have over 2,000 sq feet of hardwoods in my downstairs that others said we would need to refinish!
had a challenge working around some forecasted rain, yet the rain came early. My home was wide open, window out and siding off.
and team worked through the rain to get the window in and Tyvek up to waterproof the home. I was so grateful!
I can not be more pleased with the price, workmanship, and final product. I continue to recommend WCC to my friends."

"They did what they said they would do. I was impressed with the fact that they would actually do the window trim work and not want to replace the windows. They painted all the trim after they had replaced it. The cost was very reasonable. They were punctual. "
"He said he could complete the job in 30-45 days, he walked off the job in 4 months and never returned having received about 95% of payment of contracted amount.
1. Color of trim does not match existing trim
2.Hardwood floors: improperly installed hardwood floors; didn't acclimatize wood causing cupping throughout 1st floor; left sander & drum ...more
throughout; left trash in polyurethane; not nailed down within guidelines of fastener spacing; used scrap wood pieces that should have been culled out; we hired a certified hardwood inspector and his report indicated the floor should be torn up and replaced.
overcharge on square footage; he didn't remove the baseboard or raise it up.
3. Electrical: we had to hire an electrician to complete the contracted work and repair electrical work he did.
4.Sheetrock installation: poor work, rough finish; didn't prepare surface before texturing ceiling
5. Left construction debris and spilled concrete in lawn which was in the contract to clean up.
6. Didn't install gutters and downspouts per contract
7. Didn't reseed lawn per contract
8. Didn't repair wallpaper he damaged and put hole in screens on back screened porch.
9. Didn't do finishing work after fireplace marble installed to cover exposed brick.
10. Sloppy work on crown molding installation"
"Overall I was very pleased with my experience. I was met for an estimate soon after placing my initial phone call. I was quoted at 2 days of labor with a possibility of less. We set up the work days for the following week (would have been sooner if not a holiday weekend when I called). The man who performed the work was punctual, professional and knew ...more what he was doing. I felt comfortable at all times having him in my house. Labor (total cost) worked out to 1.5 days, right on as quoted."
"The job went very well. The general contractor was extremely professional and informative throughout the entire process. From design to completion. The company was always on time and very accommodating to my schedule. They delivered quality workmanship, on time and at an affordable price."
's two workers showed up on time every day, were quiet and diligent in their work, and cleaned up their work area at the end of every day of the project. In addition to his own employees,
had to coordinate the work of the countertop provider, an electrician, the appliance store, and a plumber. Our ...more involvement was rather minimal. The finished job is extremely beautiful. The cost figure above was for the cabinet refacing, carpentry and roll out trays only. It appeared to be very competitive, as were the separate pricing for the other sub projects."
' proposal was very professional. The price was on the high-end of the three proposals I received. He had quite a few creative suggestions, which I think worked out great. Once the gutters were removed (not by them), there was much more wood that need to be replaced.
...more cut me a break on the extra work performed. They also pressure washed the entire house, steps, and front walk (which was a bonus because it wasn't in the proposal). The quality of materials and workmanship was outstanding. They paid attention to every minor detail."
"They did quality work. They were very nice to work with. They did a number of home improvement projects including: carpentry, decks, and power washing. There is quite a list of tasks they can perform."
"After requesting an estimate to paint our house a representative,
, set up an appointment to meet with my wife. Since I was working out of town it was very important to me to have someone that would treat my wife as he would me, and
did this. He inspected the house and pointed out all of the items that ...more needed to be repaired. He then clearly detailed the work to be done in his proposal. In addition he made sure I was kept informed of what was going on. Once the work began there were a few items found needing repair that could not have been seen at the time of the inspection.
provided a very reasonable price for the repairs. Another contractor may have taken advantage of the situation. Upon completion I inspected the work prior to paying. Everything that was in the proposal was done. They even cleaned the inside of the gutters at no charge. As someone who deals with construction contractors on a daily basis I can truly say that
