"Several months ago, an old wooden
that my daughter loves broke;
folks fixed it quickly for $5. Several months later, the other side of" the
came out (not the side that they'd previous fixed), and although the amount of time necessary to fix the new problem really cost $25, they kindly agreed to do it for half that amount, given that I'd brought it in before.
were incredibly responsive in calling back and getting the work done. The
is completed restored, much to my daughter's joy. I should say, on another note, that I've called
over the years about other jobs and on the rare occasions when the job I needed done was not what they do (for example, repairing/cleaning leather), they have very generously recommended other places to contact that do that kind of work, or have even offered advice about how to fix it myself. How many other places would do that????!! I can't recommend these folks highly enough. I will continue to contact them whenever I have a repair or reconstructive job to do, big or small.

"Excellent service, quality and price! What more can I say? I own a 1921 house on the Browncroft area in
. There is
throughout the whole" place. Could not find anyone to work on them and finally I called
. The job was performed with excellent craftmanship, the owner is a real artist. Took the time to explain the work being performed and came out like new. Will call again if ever needed. I highly recommend them.

"I tried to do replace the lamp hood myself but realized that it would take a professional to do it. I was right. Mr.
spent about forty minutes working around" the cumbersome Chinese made fixture issues. He started working on it right away when I handed him the lamp over the counter. While he was fixing it, he was also educating me on the various aspects of the fixtures. I was very impressed with his knowledge and skills. He successfully replaced the lamp hood, put on an new bulb and tested it well before handing it to me (with the new bulb). He showed personal care and high service quality. When I requested a price quote for all his hard work, he quoted a really low price. I had to refuse his quote and paid him three times more than he asked for. People like Mr.
are a rare type. We must respect and appreciate their value and should never take their service for granted.

Lamp Repair reviews in Huntersville

Did a great job rewiring two exterior lamps for our 1930's home. It took a little longer than I would have hoped, but it looks like they get a lot of business and I can see why - great job!

This place is amazing. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The gentleman who helped us showed us what was wrong with our fixture and was able to fix it quickly. He also told us who designed the light and gave us some history on the designer's work. Very enjoyable experience. Beautiful store. No pressure. Wonderful experience.

I called to make an appointment to have a lamp problem fixed. He proceeded to tell me what possible problems I might have and

solutions. I tried them and one worked, which meant I did not have to keep my appointment and I called back to thank him and cancel the appointment. NOW THIS IS WHAT I CALL SERVICE! I certainly will take any lamp problems to him, based upon his initial help and honesty.

Great products, great service. We had a defect in one arm of the fixture and he immediately swapped it out with a piece from the showroom so we didn't have to wait for a return. He gave me all the bulbs for free for the trouble of coming back to the store.

. When i couldn't find a pendent light fixture I liked for my hallway
Huntersville Lamp Repairs Provider Name Locked
, the installer for
Huntersville Lamp Repairs Provider Name Locked
in Bellevue, said he could paint my old fixture (in their store) and bring it back and hang it for me for $100. He would do this when he was coming out to put up other fixtures that I'd purchased from their store at the same time. He did not give me any receipt, though, so I wrote all the info down myself. When he came back to do the job...which I must say he did carefully and competently....he just verbally told me the charge - as he was rushing off to someplace else. I was shocked that the price was much more that we had agreed on but I paid him because he was in a hurry and I could not find my receipt to prove this. Later I did found it and called him. He gave some vague answer about a "trip charge" and other nebulous fees There had been NO trip charge for his previous visit to do a fixture installation so why now, I asked? I also said $125 seemed a lot for driving from Bellevue to West Seattle. I maintained that he over charged me based on what I'd written down. He had nothing written to counter but he still would not refund the difference. Later I emailed him breaking down - exactly in laymen's terms - what his original estimate was and how these extra fees did not make sense. I was absolutely clear with him why I believed he was in error.... no response. Finally I called one more time to say that his charge was incorrect and that I expected to be refunded the difference. He continued to state no!. He had cashed my check and that was that! I even told him I was a member of Angie's list and that I would write a review of his practices. He doesn't care! I believe he doesn't use receipts or invoices for this very reason. .. So he can charge whatever he "feels like" on a particular day! I doubt he even pays taxes on this income. He is not trustworthy. I have learned my lesson. Even seemingly

jobs need written agreements.

After getting
Huntersville Lamp Repairs Provider Name Locked
quote I called two other companies out to give me quotes. Both companies said that they NEVER use the "Stop Leak" additives because they can clog the system causing it to freeze. Essentially gumming up the inside of the condenser coils and trashing your system.
Huntersville Lamp Repairs Provider Name Locked
quote was for a sub-standard outside unit and flushing out the coil. After researching online and visiting an A/C manufacturer's office I realized that flusihing the system would not guarantee that all of the stop leak was removed and could ruin the new system. I chose a vendor that offered a quote with a much nicer outside unit and replacing the coil for $300 more than

via phone, text(his preferred method), email and certified mail. I have not heard from him again. I have since corresponded with the manufacturer of the "Stop Leak" who has provided documentation demonstrating that

installed their product incorrectly. I have also found that

is not licensed in the state of Georgia for A/C repair.
Do not call

for any kind of repairs. We had also had

clean out our Dryer vent. You guessed it, he did a sub-standard job there as well. I was in the attic when the company we hired pulled the pipe apart and it was caked in lint which clearly showed

failed to perform that work properly as well.
