"Mr.
is exceptionally good at what he does. He found and worked on numerous trigger points that had developed in my left hip and psoas area as a result of an" underlying hip problem. This underlying problem was torn cartilage, and he could not fix that, but when it became clear that he could not fix me, he pushed a reluctant me to take the next steps to find out what was really wrong. There's nobody I would trust more.

"I went to therapy twice a week (ultrasound, stripping, exercises to strengthen and increase range of motion, electrical stimulation and cold) and did therapy exercises three times a" day at home. Within two weeks my foot was getting stronger and my pain level began dropping. I decided to try going back to work on restricted hours. I was able to tolerate a regular shoe for 6 hours a day which I had been unable to do before I began therapy. After two weeks back at work we increased the level of therapy and I had a setback and my pain level began increasing. We dropped the therapy back down and I began to bounce back. I went back off work to just concentrate on the therapy, but after another week and a half, I realized I was no longer continuing to improve. I talked to
and we decided to stop the therapy and recommend to the doctor that I should have the surgery to remove the bones. Even though the therapy didn't fully work, my foot is stronger and I have less pain than when I started therapy so that should help me recover from surgery better. I am looking forward to working with the people at
again for rehab after the surgery.

Rehabilitation — Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy helps wounded, recovering and disabled people gain independence. Through the rehabilitation process, patients advance or regain the abilities they need for daily activities. Occupational therapists work with children and adults on mental, emotional and physical issues.

This is a specialized pediatric therapy center that has occupational therapy with a full sensory gym, speech therapy services, listening therapy, and aqua therapy. They work with many children on the autism spectrum and/or with sensory integration dysfunction. They are in a new building that is clean, accessible and well maintained.
My daughter has been coming here for about 4 years now and she has made incredible progress during that time. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and so easy to work with. They keep me in the loop regarding her progress and taught me how to work with her at home. She has had both aqua therapy and work in the sensory gym. My daughter would not have come as far along as quickly without the skill and knowledge of the therapists there! I highly recommend this practice!

They were excellent. They gave me a private room and accommodated me with access to their wireless computer system so that I could use my computer. Their occupational therapy and physical therapy were excellent. I live alone so I couldn't come directly home after surgery. I have stairs in my house so I had to be in some place. They had choices with food and I let them know ahead of time. They were accommodating if I wanted something a little different or additions to it, they were good about that. They were very good with availability. The rehab is older and not modernized like some other places probably are. They had high definition television in every room. The physical therapist was right there when she said she would be and so was the occupational therapy. They knew exactly what they were doing.

They were very nice. I had two young women come in at two different times of the day and they were really very nice and good. They came on time and they were very pleasant and knowledgeable.

He's very good at what he does and is very available. I remember one time I was on vacation, but was able to call him, and he found a doctor in the area I was in and referred me to him! I think very highly of him and would recommend him to anyone!

Dr.
Hillsborough Occupational Therapists Provider Name Locked
gave me a list of physical therapy offices in the city that I could choose from. I eliminated it down to 3 choices. Through his staff and talking with them, I chose Acceleration Therapy. It was a choice I am so pleased that I made. His staff finalized it for me. They have 3 therapists that work with you, plus the reception staff. It's a small office, but, has incredible service. I would use them again in the future.

He knows more than a lot of doctors. The staff is very professional and very courteous. The appointments were on time. They work with me as much as they could. He is very knowledgeable especially with sports related injuries. I would definitely use him again. I don't remember waiting there for a long time.
