Woodworking Reviews in Fuquay Varina

At first Christian (the Owner) was very good on getting our price for the garage but it went down hill from there. They never came when they said they were going to, never started when they said they were. I had to constantly call them for updates on where he was and when things were going to be finished, we also had to be on top of him to ensure that he called in for inspections which failed every since time for the simplest to items that were major that a contractor should of known to do or ensure were done. Invoice was well over the original price in which they told us, they gave us the final bill which was over $10,000 over the price he told us with no updates or knowledge of in the increase. To this day we are still having issues with the garage which is leaking and there is no communication from them when it will be fixed. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY! Has only been problems from day one. We are currently
them for all the issues and the distress of this project.

was awesome! He got back to us immediately, spent considerable time discussing the process and measuring the area. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We did not go with
as we went with a pre stained wood that wouldn't take near as long and the price was better for us.

Woodworking reviews in Fuquay Varina

We called
Fuquay Varina Carpenters Provider Name Locked
at StairPros a few days before New Year's Eve and played a bit of phone tag. On New Year's Eve we finally caught each other to discuss the project and make an appointment. He asked if we would be home on New Year's Day as he would be in the area. I said we would and he said he would call right before he came in the afternoon. We never heard back from him and we didn't call again as we saw another person had posted a similar situation. Maybe he just lost the number? Regardless, we found a few other professionals who have given us estimates.

A couple of weeks ago my wife suggested we look into some additional pull out shelves under our kitchen cabinets. We had some from the original builder but realized we still had a lot of unused space and could do better. I researched a number of companies and found ShelfGenie rated quite highly here on Angie's List. While reading the reviews, which were all quite good, I was struck by how many people commented about the high quality and the high prices. Researching further I found

a local company here in

. I called

the owner and scheduled an estimate. When he came out to take a look I was pleasantly surprised by some of his recommendations. The best thing he suggested was to remove the

on the double door cabinets and install two full sized shelves rather than four smaller shelves. The

piece would be cut top and bottom then attached to one of the existing doors. When finished he promised me we could not tell the difference from the original. He was right. The finished product is much more space efficient and convenient. My product research had confirmed my assumption that a big part of the cost is based on the number, not the size of the drawers.

's suggestion resulted in four fewer drawers, which not only cost me less but added a substantial amount of additional storage space. Mine was not a large job to begin with. He could have estimated the job with four more drawers, I would not have known the difference and he would have had a more profitable job. When I asked him about this he just said that this would be the best way to do the job for us. Very refreshing. Installation took place two weeks after the estimate. Everything went smoothly and took about three hours for the eight drawers in four cabinets. In case you can't tell, I was very pleased with the outcome of this project and highly recommend the company.
