I purchased the big deal of 3-hours of caulk/grout repair for $99. He removed the old caulk from between the kitchen counter and back-splash and re-caulked the area. There was one area behind the sink (admittedly difficult to get to) where the bead of caulk was not smooth, and there were several large areas where there was caulk residue left on the counter. I had to scrape it off to clean it up and make it look better.
He removed the old caulk from the base of my shower and re-caulked the area. There was quite a bit of old caulk left on the shower tile and it looked awful. When I called to inquire if this was the way it was supposed to look for having it professionally done, the service provider indicated that he could not remove the residual caulk at the time because he did not have the appropriate tools with him, and he would come back out and fix it. I am not sure how you go to a caulking job without all of the proper tools, but he did return and scraped all of the old caulk off the tiles. Unfortunately, when doing so, there were a couple areas where it removed the caulk that he had previously applied and left my shower unsealed in those areas.
This was not a deal. Spend your money elsewhere.

The installer arrived on time, did an excellent job, and cleaned up after himself. After the stone work was completed, we had a little difficulty putting some of our electrical outlets back in place due to the added thickness of the stone backsplash, but the installer took care of it.

I was very disapointed at the way the carpets looked when the man was finished cleaning. I had to pay another cleaning company to clean my carpets so they actually looked and felt clean.
I later found out that this man,
Canton Tiling Experts Provider Name Locked
is a Convicted PEDOPHILE and s** offender by looking him up online while trying to post a review on his website. This sick individual is not letting anyone know of his background and is going into home where there are children. This is wrong. I have let all my neighbors and friends know who this man really is. The citizens of Green Valley are getting together to boycott this man, his business and any business in town that associates with this man. Pedophiles and those who harm

After specifying that we wanted a couple of spots of Grout fixed that had small cracks in our upstairs bathroom, when they finally came out and my wife stayed home from work to meet them they did not do the work but rather gave a completely different quote on caulking our bathtub which would have come to close to $300+. We never mentioned the bathtub nor does it need caulking. I had been very specific in my communications with them that the floor tile had two spots where the tile was cracked and honestly I could have gotten a marble size piece of grout to fix both, but it was worth the BigDeal to have someone do it. However, here I am having to try to get a refund after the clock ran out on this Big Deal and

Doctor still either playing a game or truly not understanding that I only wanted them to do what the Big Deal was for and what I specifically listed for them to do which was specifically what the BigDeal was for... This was not rocket science but trying to get them to do their job and not something else they wanted to do was like pushing a rope. Communication is a very weak point for this vendor as well as doing what they are specifically paid to do and directed to do.

we spent over an hour in their business looking at tile for our kitchen... floor and backsplash. we waited for 1.5 weeks for them to return from vacation to come measure and prepare a price quote. the owner did come and measure... told us he would go back to the store and prepare a price quote. they have never contacted us... not even a courtesy call to tell us anything.

I doubt I will ever use Angie's List again. After the company closed , the customer service people said they would get a different company to honor the deal.. That has not happened and I have requested a refund, but customer service will not reply to emails or return my calls. I will not recommend Angie's List to anyone! Angie has my money and no service has been rendered. Pretty much make Angie's List a scam!

The remarkably poor quality of work done by the contractor that the prior owner had hired to do the flip on out house had to be seen to be believed. It all started when we found our hardwood floors water damaged near our french doors after a few days of moderate rain in February. It turned out that the doors had been installed without proper water proof paper, no flashing and that the trim used was indoor rated lumber. We additionally became concerned about out windows when we noticed the molding outside warping away from the wood frame, and cracks appearing in the caulking across the tops on the inside, to the extent that we could see daylight. So much for our nice energy efficient seal, not to mention allowing bugs in. We figured that if the French doors had no flashing, it might be worth checking all the windows for waterproofing. When

and his excellent team started demoing the windows they discovered a multitude of problems - *the contractors had actually used MDF (an indoor decorative wood product) as exterior molding, and in at least one case to support the weight of a window (it was a bathroom window and the MDF INSIDE the wall was soaked like a sponge.) * the windows were just set into the walls without proper sills to support the weight, with a piece of cheap pine (used throughout) tacked in front to make it appear that there was a sill - this is why the caulk was cracking, the whole units were sagging. * NO flashing, so all our windows were leaks waiting to happen. The only silver lining to the drought in CA is that we were able to repair our windows before the winter rains. In the case of the French Doors some odd flashing had been placed so that it acted like a funnel channeling rain water directly inside to the hardwood floor! * They had filled (with caulk) the engineered drain holes that are an important part of the aluminum windows. * In one case, we discovered huge gobs of caulking had been used to disguise 4 inch wide holes above a window, instead of properly filling it with the three layers of stucco needed - again it was a leak waiting to happen.

and his team did a complete retrofit of 10 windows (those that had been put in by the flippers) and the french doors. The matched the stucco to the existing, used high quality cedar lumber, put in the proper flashing and paper, sanded and sealed then painted the new trim, neatened the external appearance of windows with stucco, and recaulked the interiors, over the course of 7 days. They started promptly at 8 each day, and left between 4.30 and 5pm, working efficiently. We did have to add more to the job, since the egregiously bad work was a greater surprise than expected, but luckily

had allowed extra time before his next commitment, just in case of problems. We will be having
