Business Description: J & K Home Improvement Services is the new company that was formerly Fox Construction Company. J & K Home Improvement has been in business as it's own entity since 2009. We are a turn-key residential remodeling and renovation company. This means that when the job is completed the room or house or apartment complex is ready to be enjoyed without worrying about cleaning, moving furniture, installing lights or anything else. We currently are operating two crews and are in the hiring process for a third. We are fully insured with up to date proof of insurance, however, we are not a company with a general contractor's license. In the state of NC this means that we cannot, and will not, work on jobs over $30,000 and we also do not use subcontractors to do licensed trade work. In exchange for these limitations, we are able to negotiate lower deals while still having full insurance coverage. J & K Home Improvement Services has past history working on everything from trailers to million dollar country club homes and even apartment complexes. Once you begin the process by calling us, we will set up a time for a free on-site estimate, then we will submit a quote to you within three business days, once you agree in principle to the bid a timeline will be set and a contract will be signed and we will get to work. Our quotes are the top limit price unless we run into a substantial issue and often times we refund our customer a portion of the final bill due to lower costs than expected. You will get a very personalized treatment throughout the process and you will even receive a prepared tax-ready portfolio of all the receipts used in the process of your project so you can write them off at the end of the year (some limitations apply, please speak to a tax professional for details). At the end of it all, we will leave with a handshake and leave you with a smile.
