After moved his office from a plain, appropriate office at St. 's East to a garish, oversize monstrosity on the verge of Trussville, quickly became Dr. Lousy, chasing every dollar and every dime he can make at the expense and suffering of his patients. It is his obvious worship of Mammon that has destroyed what was once a reasonably good doctor. His incompetent staff rarely gets anything right. rushes patients in and out like cattle, dramatically increasing the odds that if anything goes wrong, the patient will pay dearly for 's and his staff's many mistakes. While treats you, he treats multiple other patients at the same time to ensure he can make every dollar and every dime that he can grab.
If you are treated by , I hope it is for something extremely and easy. does not know how to recognize or treat staph bacterial infection that he causes from sloppy surgical procedures. Since he only cares about money, rushes patients in and out at Outpatient Surgery Center (which is not a clean facility) like cattle, too. Then he leaves before patients wake, allowing nurses to discharge them while they are in agonizing pain. The nurse who discharged me lied and said my pain was "completely normal" instead of advising me to go straight to the ER, where I would have likely received proper medical treatment that denied me.
When I woke from surgery, I was in excruciating pain that I've learned to cope with and likely will exist with for the rest of my life. One nurse lied and said would re-check my ear. Another nurse was honest. She said if was making money off patients in Trussville, he would never return to Outpatient Surgery Center on Southside to treat my ear. He didn't. He had packed my ear without anyone telling me, which trapped the staph bacteria in my ear for weeks. The damage caused cannot be repaired. I have accepted it. I hope to spare anyone the same experience that I've had.

I returned to three times post-surgery. He admitted he didn't know what was wrong with me. He admitted he didn't know what to do for me. He didn't know what staph bacterial infection was because I had staph bacterial infection in my inner ear, middle ear, ET, inner ear canal, mastoid bone and all my sinuses (on one side). failed to treat any of them, 0 for 6. He never ordered a CT scan, an MRI, an X- or a blood test. He didn't prescribe an antibiotic for the severe infection until the third and final visit and the antibiotic was completely ineffective. Instead he unintentionally confirmed I have bilaterial Meniere's disease, which meant he should have never performed the botched surgical procedure in the first place.
It was only later that I found out I should have never had the surgical procedure. had diagnosed me with bilateral Meniere's disease several years earlier. Gentamicin injections (the procedure that I had) are only for patients diagnosed with unilateral Meniere's disease. He had forgotten because he had not bothered to review my chart prior to surgery, another one of his rushed "treat and street" tactics. The physicians who "got it right" were the ER physician and the ER radiologist. A medical school student could have provided me with better medical treatment than .
Tragically, my case is not rare. The more money-driven he has become, the more incompetent and careless has become. A doctor who will not return to treat a patient in agonizing pain post-surgery is not a physician fit to treat anyone. Even more tragic, Alabama protects medical doctors at all costs and medical doctors know it. It's okay to be an incompetent doctor in Alabama, which is rightfully ranked 50th of the US states. Alabama is forever branded the most corrupt, inbred, violent, ignorant, backward US state for many valid reasons (this case in point). Alabama's medical care is rapidly becoming third world medical care and other US states know it. A recent study revealed Alabama's medical care is graded F. It deserves it.
I have every intention of leaving behind the horrors of Alabama like nearly everyone who I know has already done. One of Alabama's horrors inflicted on me is the permanent damage caused by a botched surgery that should have known I was not eligible to have performed. Money meant far more to than my well-being. If you are treated by him, you are taking a huge risk with your life. I would advise anyone to not be treated by under any circumstances. Your life in his hands is a risk that no one should take. I gave him a copy of an MRI I had earlier in March that indicated that “The fluid signal in the mastoid air cells particularly on the left could represent mastoid effusion versus mastoiditis in The appropriate clinical setting”. He prescribed a decongestant. I was to return in a couple of weeks.

I returned to Dr. ’s office. I told him nothing had changed. He, again, peered in my ear and said he could see nothing but he could put a tube in to drain any fluid build up. A tube was installed to see if that helped.
I returned to Dr. ’s office and told him that nothing had changed except that I was experiencing significant hearing loss in my left ear. I still had the plugged feeling, the Eustachian tube was still plugged, and that there had been no drainage. He removed the tube which left a hole in my ear drum. I was told it would close by itself. Also, he said that hearing test was needed to verify the hearing loss. This was scheduled for 21, 2015.
I returned to Dr. ’s office for the hearing test and a consult with Dr. . Hearing test verified significant hearing loss compared to previous test. Dr. Stated it could be as a result of the hole in the ear drum. I believe that was a guess. He ordered a CT scan of the left ear area. When I call the Imaging Center to make an appointment, they ask if the scan was to be performed with or without contrast. I contacted Dr. ’s office 3 times and the Imaging Center contacted them at least twice. I ’t believe Dr. or his office ever clarified the contrast question. The CT scan preformed on 28, 2015.
I returned to Dr. ’s office for a follow-up regarding the CT scan. I was told the scan showed him nothing unusual and that he had no idea what my problem was. He basically gave up and sent me to get a “second opinion” somewhere. I feel he was clueless from day one but wanted to experiment which he did at my expense –both monetarily, timelines, and hearing loss.
