Cardiology reviews in Andrews

The medication caused even more severe angina. When my husband called him to report this, the doctor didn't call him back. We got a new doctor who determined that my husband was on the wrong medication. He hasn't had an angina attack since. |

I was seen by Dr.

Baweja, and he did a regular EKG at the initial visit, and then scheduled me for an electrocariography and had me wear a

monitor for 24-hours. Dr. Baweja was very friendly and explained everything so I could understand it. He was very patient and I never felt like he was rushing through my visit.
The follow-up visit for the sonogram and to get the

was on 12-24-14. I do not remember the technician who preformed that test, but he was very nice and explained everything as we went along.
I did receive a follow-up phone call from
Andrews Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
who explained the test results in detail and answered all of my questions and options at this point. The only thing needed is to schedule an annual follow-up sonogram for December 2015. I thought someone was going to call to schedule that, but I haven't heard anything yet. It's all fine, I will probably call them when I get a

All in all, a wonderful experience for what could be a stressful issue.
- Janna B.

This was my first time dealing with Dr.
Andrews Cardiologists Provider Name Locked
, but everything went well. He's very friendly and approachable, he did a great job with the pacemaker, and he followed up after the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. He also employs an excellent technical staff to assist with reprogramming and any other issues. The only issue is that his office sits back far enough that you can't see it from the road as you approach, and the address on the side of the building can be difficult to see. I suggested that the staff provide a map to first-time visitors to prevent them from becoming lost.
- Walker F.

I have been going to him for about 10 years. He is in my insurance plan and he seems really nice. The staff is nice. I make my appointment and I'm good to go.
- Barbara C.

We have been using him for 30 years and he has an excellent bedside manner. He is very well educated and good technically. He specializes in non-invasive procedures. He is very relaxed and makes you feel very calm as a patient.
- Sanford M.

They did refer me to another department, but they have a waiting list for up for a year, for an initial appointment. I will grade them an A, if they would have been able to do the form of specialty that I have been seeking. It is a problem that I have that pops up every couple of years and I have been diagnosed, but I was looking for a doctor in this area.
- Beth A.

I have been seeing the doctor for about 3 years. He is happy to spend as much time as you need with him. He is a great communicator and listens to his patients. He is happy to discuss any medical advances and new medications. He has a friendly staff and scheduling is easy.

Dr. Sanai is a fabulous doctor. I started seeing Dr. Sanai in 2013 when I was referred by my PCP for irregular heartbeats. He is such a friendly and sincere guy, which is very unlike past experiences I've had with doctors. He is very personable and from the moment he walks into the room it's like you've been a patient of his for years. Aside from him just being a nice guy, he is very professional and knowledgeable. He explained every test he wanted to do and why and he answered all of my questions. He never rushed me and made me feel like I was asking stupid questions. After one of my tests he wanted to refer me to a specialist. He actually was the one to contact the specialists office and they called me for an appointment. When I went to the specialist it was clear Dr. Sanai had fully briefed him in advance of my issue. It turned out it wasn't a big issue but I needed to go back to Dr. Sanai for a follow-up. I emailed Dr. Sanai who then must have followed up with the specialist who then called me to discuss some additional issues with me. Then when I went to my next PCP appointment they already had all the records from Dr. Sanai without me ever asking him to send them! Honestly - I've never had a doctor take the initiative to communicate so quickly with other doctors without me having to call back and forth continuously to figure out what is going on and without me having to take the initiative to request that my records be sent over. His appointments always run on time and there are no nurses/techs in the office. He comes out and gets you from the waiting room and takes you into the exam room. He takes my vitals and the appointment starts right away. When the exam is over he personally will go to his computer and set up your next appointment. It's all an easy and efficient system for the patient. If you are in the DC area and want a great cardiologist I'd, without hesitation, recommend Dr. Sanai.
