"She's an A+. I could not recommend her more. She's very creative, yet realistic. She has lots of artistic integrity, letting you know if she thinks a piece" you want done lacks certain "aesthetic value", or perhaps be a bad fit. When she does, she always counters with another idea. She also does an outstanding job repairing jewelery. On top of everything else, she's also a super nice person, which always goes a long way with me.

"PERFECT. In fact, One of the watches stopped working in two days. When I called, they asked me to bring in the watch so they could look at it. When I brought" the watch in, the were outstanding and within an hour, called and told me the watch was repaired. The fix was easy as the battery loosened due to my exercising with the watch. It was repaired at no additional charge. This is an impressive store with a great deal of impressive jewelry. I knew it was also a CLASS COMPANY and I will use them again for my future Jewelry needs.

Depends on the design and how much it is being resized, and if reducing or increasing. For a simple one-size change larger, with a simple circular ring, can be as cheap as $20-30 to heat and stretch it.
If needs to be enlarged more or reduced, then it has to be cut and changed to the size wanted, and fused back together, with new gold or silver if enlarging. Obviously, reducing is cheaper than enlarging as no signficant new metal is needed, and silver is cheaper than gold or platinum because of the six-seven fold difference in the cost of the metals.
Resizing involving cutting probably in the $50-100 range for silver or for reducing a gold ring, enlarging a gold ring with added metal could run $100-250 depending on how large the ring is - a real hefty men's ring will obviously take more metal, so more cost, than a thin wedding band.
You want to consider the value of the ring - a real valuable or antique ring you want to take to a true artisan jeweler who makes and modifies rings in-house - a simple economy ring or simple band you would get a cheaper price probably at a chain store like Zales.
When you drop it off be sure to get a written receipt for it while they work on it (usually unless a simple one-size stretch job, cannot do while you wait), and I would also take a picture or two of it on your cell phone, including a zoom shot of any interior engraving, so if there is any question about whether you got back what you dropped off, you have some proof. Of course, the integrity of the shop is critical.

I found

took the time to explain my options, and expected costs in a very professional, friendly, and respectful way. Everything was very clear by the time I left the ring with him. It was ready within a few days, and the work was beautifully done; my wife was very pleased with the results.

Townsend Designer Jewelry Provider Name Locked
provided us incredible customer service by being very responsive to our questions about different types of engagement rings/stones. They walked us through all our options and defined the different terms such as cut, color, etc. They made sure that we had every detail we needed to make the best decision, and they were very willing to work with us to find the perfect ring. My fiance and I couldn't have had a better experience. The attention to detail, impeccable customer service, and excellent quality ensures we will go back to

seemed to do a fine job on the Longines movement, but he did not notify me when having difficulty when replating the watch case. Without my knowledge or consent, he burnished the bezel and case giving the 14K white gold case a stainless steel look. He did, however, reduce the price of the work. I had to send the case out to another source to be repaired at a great expense.

As for my mother's

watch, I was told that the
Townsend Designer Jewelry Provider Name Locked
or index-style hands that were on the watch were not of that period (yet manufacturers such as Bulova had used them since the mid thirties). I was also told that the dial had been previously redone (though it had original tampo markings for the

name text). This makes me question his knowledge.

I have yet to receive the
Townsend Designer Jewelry Provider Name Locked
two years after it was given to him to work on. I have not received calls back when I have left messages, and no one is allowed into his facility unless you have an appointment or are 'buzzed' in.

I am frustrated and feel so ripped off!!

I took a watch in for repair the first week of November, 2014. I finally got it back the first week of December. It stopped running after a day, so I took it back. They still have it, despite promises to complete the repair. They operate a high-end jewelry store where they sell Rolex watches. I think every watch that comes in for repair is in line ahead of mine.

I inherited a beautiful 18k white gold, art deco diamond ring made in the 1930s from my late grandmother. It needed to be upsized as it was WAY too small for my ring finger. Also, I wanted to have an idea of what it is worth, so, I took it, along with another ring of mine with a loose stone to Summit Jewelry Co. to see what they could do.
The associate who assited me was polite plus seemed experienced and knowledgeable. She provided me with the cost to size up my grandma's ring and explained that it was based on going up 3+ sizes. Also, she took the time to explain they could provide me with a verbal appraisal at no cost for each ring, but if I was looking for a written appraisal, such as for insurance purposes, there would indeed be a charge for that service.
I was told it would take about a week, which is much faster than several other jewelers I was checking out on-line. Summit called me the following Friday to inform me both rings were ready to pick-up at my convenience. They made it extremely easy on me! All I had to do was drop the rings off and take my claim ticket. When I went to pick-up and pay, I simply showed my ticket and out they came.
They were unable to come to a conclusion as to the value of the second ring upon doing routine initial testing. My guess is the stone is not as valuable as I had hoped, however, they cleaned it and figured out a way to tighten the stone within the setting in order to reduce the

did an outstanding job. We had a ring from my fiancée's grandmother that we wanted to use the stones from.
Townsend Designer Jewelry Provider Name Locked
worked with us to find a contemporary setting that we both liked and then he used all the stones in the ring. It came out beautiful. My fiancée fell in love with the ring. Now we have a ring that is unique and incorporates her grandmother's ring too. It is awesome.
