"I really do not know what happened to this place. There were so many great reviews I trusted my car repairs to them, as paid for by an at fault driver's insurance." The first time through they lost my keys, dug a deep scratch in the bumper they had just ordered, painted and installed, and it didn't seem to bother them that the whole thing was out of alignment and the
wasn't opening properly. They simply wanted to push it out the door, finished or not. I again trusted that with their great reputation this would be fixed, and I was told that parts would be ordered and things would be fixed. A week goes by and I haven't heard anything so I call back- nothing has been ordered and nothing has been done. With many phone calls to their shop and to the insurance I finally have the car back in the shop, well over a month since the initial accident. I am promised multiple contacts when I would be told an estimated finishing date, which never happened. Not once did Mr.
actually contact me when he said he would and I was stuck waiting the whole time. Once I finally get a phone call a message is left telling me the car will be ready to go in the morning and all they have to do is wash it. After a three hour drive back to
(in the middle of moving) I am dropping off my car at the rental agency and getting a ride over to the shop, so I call to let them know- when I am told the car is not ready (despite saying that it would be). I show up and I'm again told it's ready... except they failed to repair a piece under a door panel I was directly told would be addressed when I dropped off the car. After pressing the issue my car is passed to the car washer who starts trying to rip off the door panel without removing all the screws and damages it. I have to tell him there is a fastener behind the door handle, because he apparently is not trained in this kind of work and is trying to rip the panel off. Even his co-worker makes fun of him as a result. He then ends up scratching it even more because he stumbles over it on the ground once it is off. Sharing this with Mr.
didn't seem to bother him at all and this same car washer is raising his voice, cussing at me, and slamming a door- with the boss right there. Again
did nothing to correct this behavior and instead of fixing the vehicle the car washer went to complain to his co workers. The inner panel of my door panel is now scratched and the speaker grill even had plastic
sticking out where the panel was damaged. No attempt to fix this was made, and even when it was directly pointed out,
did not care. Mr.
directly lied to me on several points making up excuses saying he had not been able to talk to people about issues he already said were discussed with them the week before. He tried to back out of previous statements and assurances, and showed no follow through. It is clear that the people working at this shop are not skilled technicians and they take no pride in their work. There are images on the website of vehicles being carefully painted in a controlled and clear booth. I personally saw exterior body parts being painted with primer spray paint from a rattle can with plenty of dirt flying in an open door garage. It is clear that at one point this was a great shop and the older brother was always great about following up and contacting me as he said he would at the start of the process. They side contracted a muffler shop which I think did a great job as well, but it was a separate business. Also, in regards to the location. Though I was not aware of it a car rental driver pointed out to me that about every other business in that area was a strip club. Pricing seemed reasonable, and would have been rated higher if product and services paid for were delivered. Most other shops will at least clean the car if you have work done there, some even offer to detail it as part of the price. This shop cleaned areas worked on, but nothing else.

"The glass portion of my Tundra's outside rear view mirror had been knocked loose. I visited with
's" Automotive (also on Angie' List) and he referred me to
Repair. I talked to
at Precision and he immediately looked at the glass piece, put some grease on the back of it, and pushed it into place on the mounted holder (something I tried to do several times without success). He then looked at me and said "It's on the house." It's refreshing to see a business that isn't always after the all-mighty dollar, still offering assistance in a professional and courteous manner.

You could have paid a little more per month and gotten a lower deductible policy. The deductible is the amount you agreed to. To "get out of it" it is breaking the law. You probably thought, like we all do, that nothing will happen to me, so I'll get the cheapest per month. I think that's what most people do, so you're not alone there.

See if you can make  a deal with the repair company; they may let you pay a little per month. The repair shop may be your best best bet in getting some sort of "deal". Nothing illegal, of course.....

Next time though, think about paying a little more per month for a little more ins. (One-day less fast food lunch, or movie night, or smart phone, etc) and you can reduce your deductible quite a bit.
Hope that last paragraph doesn't sound too judgemental, it's what I'd tell my son or daughter. (Before they bought the crap insurance in the first place, if they'd only ask, right?)
Too late now though, just live and learn.

Beyond everything else...completely trustworthy. It's overwhelming and intimidating to be thrust into an area which you have no knowledge or experience. You worry about being over-charged, jazzed with a bunch of buzz words, scared into agreeing to unnecessary work. Save yourself some time and angst...go directly to
Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
Auto Body. Best estimates, no BS, guaranteed satisfaction, old-fashioned customer service and attention.

I'd challenge anyone to identify the repaired area...perfect paint match on a weathered 10 year old car. He's been in business for 35 years which says it all.

I had my

there to be repaired and even after I called and asked them to double check that my windows were rolled up before the tech was done, they left my windows down during a very

Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
has 8 locations in the Twin Cities and I was referred to them
for scratch work by Maplewood Toyota. The dealership uses this
provider (an adjacent block from the dealership) and was highly
complimentary about the quality of

work. I talked with
Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked

about scratches on my Prius. He gave me alternatives; he explained
the costs associated with each; he well explained the limits of what
could actually be done. I chose a
Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
treatment because the
final choice was to not replace the applique, which would have been the
preponderant majority of the costs - and did not seem necessary.

I am delighted with the results.

They do fantastic work, at a very fair price and in the time they promise. I got two other bids from shops who wanted to repaint the whole car, practically, for more money. It clearly wasn't necessary.
Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked

There was some damage to my front bumper. Even though I went through my insurance,
Ridgeland Auto Body Shops Provider Name Locked
honored the Insurance estimate and got the bumper replaced. I dropped off my car in the morning and was able to pick it up the same day as promised. The process was seamless and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend them to my friends. I wish them the very best.

I've been going to Andys for years. Always great service and honest pricing. I would never go anywhere else for any car issues. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
