Now, the negative: our biggest overall complaints are about the requests for upfront payment, both for the initial service call ($95) and for the replacement part ($125), which were requested several days in advance of the technician arriving for the assessment and repair, respectively. Because I was not home when the calls were made, my father and sister, respectively, paid those fees from their own credit cards which I then reimbursed. I was especially irritated by the demand for payment for the replacement part BEFORE the repair was made and I could verify that the correct part had been ordered and it was indeed the cause of the problem. This is not the standard I expect from maintenance calls--in my experience, payment for both parts and labor is due at the time of the service. Occasionally afterwards (when an invoice is sent), but NEVER before the customer can verify that things are done properly. This on top of a pretty steep initial service fee (which, in this case, was paid for about 10 minutes of technician time, as apparently bearing issues are a common problem with these washers), insures I will likely go elsewhere for future maintenance of this type.
So we rescheduled for the next day. Given the issue the day before, we waited for them at the apartment until the end of the defined time. No show from the repairman. After a 20 min call to the call center, We were told he wasn't arriving and they stopped repairs at 5pm. We had to reschedule... again. Needless to say, we did not reschedule.
She was told to call back with the Oven Model Number in order to place an order for the glass.
My wife called back the next day with the Model Number, but have to leave a voice mail.
Since we did not hear from them, my wife call two more times, and left voice mail each time.
10 day later (Monday Sep 15) I called and asked why no calls were return, after getting my information (name, address, etc) the lady on the phone said I am the only one setting appointments and never need the Model Number to do so, then she proceeded to ask me for the the Model Number. Her request really frustrated me and I said, you already have the model number.
At this point she said "sounds like we are not going to get along, you need to call somebody else".
They have provided good service on multiple occasions without issues.
We think we're the best, and we can prove it.
