"The technicians are thorough in their spraying. They come on time, are agreeable and have given us no problems. We inquired about removing a dead shrub but the" representative said that their service includes spraying and treating but not other landscaping work. We have contracted for ongoing service.

"Had them come to my home to give me an estimate. The technician seemed to know what he was talking about so I agreed to have them fertilize my lawn. I asked to be" present when the application was applied and requested a phone call. They did apply the first application and I found out by my video security system. I. Wedged to ask a few questions but when I called, there was no answer, no answering machine or voice mail. After tryin for 4 days, I finally was able to contact then. I cancelled the service. The technician told me how could make my lawn look as good as his. I found out where he lived and decided I wanted my lawn to look a lot better. I have since moved on to a new service which I am completely satisfied wit.

How to Get Rid of Springtails

One of the most effective ways to control springtails is to dry out the infested area. Springtails require a high-moisture environment to breed and thrive, living mostly off of algaes that grow in moist conditions. They will either leave the infested area or die out. If there is an infestation that cannot be controlled by drying out the infested area, use an appropriately labeled insecticide with a residual time These will typically be a liquid concentrate form, a wet-able powder form, or a dust product.  DO NOT APPLY UNTIL AREAS ARE DRY.  If area will not dry naturally, use Corn Starch to soak-up any lingering moisture and otherwise 'steer' any rain water or irrigation away from area.

Also, if there is a noticed springtail infestation around the perimeter of the structure, use the insecticide to do a barrier treatment and apply corn starch to reduce or eliminate moisture. Caulk and seal all cracks and crevices and inspect potted plants before they are brought into the house.

I would talk to your local lawn and garden supply store (or mill and feed) - NOT a box store or hardware store. There are also selective grass control chemicals. YOu can research this by Googling using search string      "Tall Fescue Control" - there are lots of articles by the USDA and individual state cooperative extension services.

There is a treatment called chlorsulfuron TFC (Tall Fescue Control) that will do this - it worked for me in western New York, but took 3 years to finish out all the tall fescue. It may now be limited to use by commercial applicators - pretty potent stuff. Can yellow bluegrass or make it phytosensitive, but our looked OK during treatment because the TFC was applied in the fall for best results, and our lawn was dormant till spring anyway.

Tall fescue can also be controlled by real short mowing, but only in areas where the bluegrass is dominant and really thrives so will eventually crowd out the trimmed fescue, but you may be too far north for that.

Lawn Treatment reviews in Flowood

Won't be able to tell until the Spring. Overall, they're a good company that tries to provide good customer support. They don't seem exceptionally responsive to customer concerns though they will eventually respond with an answer. Weeds are my biggest concern and they are okay in that area though every mid-late summer weeds start popping up despite regular treatments.
- Bradley K.

Always on time, courteous, professional. This was the third lawn care company I used, and they were by far, the best. They really care about what they do.
- Roxanne F.

tl;dr Very bad service from a very unethical company.
In 2013 we contracted with Organic Turf Company for a year's worth of lawn care. The service was god awful. The lawn looked worse after they were done then it did before they began. Throughout the summer we called repeatedly to ask that they ring our doorbell whenever they arrived so that we could discuss our lawn and the best course of action to take to get it looking good. They never once rang our doorbell.
After such bad service, we opted not to renew for 2014. But on the weekend prior to Easter 2014, without calling first, they came out and applied a treatment to our lawn. That weekend we had plans to reseed which we were unable to do because of the treatment they applied. We also had plans to enjoy an outdoor Easter egg hunt with our 18 month old but again were unable to do so because of the treatment they applied.
When I called to complain and ask why they had performed a service they were not contracted to perform, they notified us that our service was recurring. This was the first I'd heard that. I know their monthly service was recurring but we hadn't signed up for that. We had signed up specifically for a non-recurring one-off yearly charge. I explained this, as well as our overall dissatisfaction with their service and our disappointed that they had ruined our Easter plans. They didn't care. They billed us anyway and when we refused to pay they sent the bill to a collection agency. Now I'm in collection agency h*** disputing the fraudulent charge.
This is easily one of the worst companies I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with.

Cost above is for our monthly service. We have a very small grass area in the back and lots of different kinds of plants all over. They will charge extra when lawns or plants are fed or treated for bugs. They do a great job and are very professional.

I hired
Flowood Lawn Aeration Provider Name Locked
after a recommendation by my sister. Unlike another company that merely used satellite pictures of my property to give me a quote, they sent a person out to evaluate my lawn and discuss what I wanted to accomplish, and then sent me a a quote with different options and payment plans. I have the season long treatment with grub control and end of season aeration and seeding. By the end of the season I was seeing a big difference in my lawn. The grass is stronger, more lush, and stayed

even during dry periods. The aeration quote was originally more than I could afford, but they worked with my budget and serviced only the more visible parts of my yard to keep the cost down. The service is dependable and very efficient, with a detailed recommendation about how to treat my lawn after each treatment. Also, they provide information about other services (I.e. tick treatment) but without the hard sell. Every person with whom I dealt was professional and polite.
- Elisa M.

Workers were on time and pleasant to deal with. They asked my extension on exactly how we wanted things treated.
- Linda Kay S.

Service to date has been of questionable quality. After a significant investment in all recommended treatments, my lawn is not improved in quality and is comparable to other lawns in the neighborhood that do not use a lawn service or otherwise treat their lawn. I contacted the company via their website to express my concerns and ask for their recommendations. I received no reply. I had hoped that going with a local company would provide better quality than that provided by a national chain lawn service, but my neighbor who uses a national chain has a much better lawn than I do.
- Anthony P.

I have been using this company for several years. Last year my lawn looked terrible. My neighbor notified me that Creative was not going into my back yard. I called the company and the woman that answered said no that is not true, but did not send anyone out to check. I check the yard and there were no chemical granuales in the backyard so I know they did not treat it. This happened seveal times and my backyard was very weedy. My front yard was weedy and I had a bunch of dead patches throughout the year. I don't know if they were not treating with the correct chemicals or what but I am not happy with this service and will not use them again this year. They do offer a good price, but it obvious that you get what you pay for!
