"Car was repaired to my satisfaction and i was not charged. I was thrilled that I did not have to argue with
's regarding the repair and they simply called" me and told me it would be taken care of under warranty.

"We use
for all of our car repair and maintenance. Most recently we had an oil change/tire rotation done, which is probably not that useful as a review. What" might be helpful is, for instance, I have called because my check-engine light came on and they took the time on the phone to verify whether it was likely a critical engine issue, or a sensor issue. Since it seemed more likely a sensor issue they actually recommended not bringing the car in right away. I was impressed that they took the time on the phone to think about the problem, and are willing to recommend not doing service immediately if it is not really necessary.

"Well. Dropped off car - they dropped me off at work - called me when ready - picked me back up. Great wash job too!

I made an appointment and mentioned the Angie's List coupon. They were able to get me in when I needed to. They were ready to take in the car when I arrived on time. There was only about a ten minute wait from the time I arrived until the time I was able to leave to return to work. They offered me a ride to work downtown. The lady who gave me the ride was friendly.

I had taken my 2002 Ford Explorer in at the beginning of March to get the left rear hub and bearing replaced. That cost $487. I was told that the bad bearing had caused the rear parking brake shoe linings to become detached. Was told that I could hold off on repairing that if I didn't use the parking brake. I was quoted approximately $120 for one side but that they couldn't tell me if the other side was damaged and it would cost $90 to check. Fine. That's labor and whatever. In June I took car in to get tires balanced and rotated and get the parking brake fixed. Was told that in addition to replacing both parking brake shoes I needed to replace my rear brake pads and that the front rotors needed servicing. Mind you, they had replaced front rotors and front brakes in February all while stating my rear brakes were good as new . They quoted me $700+ to fix everything. When I freaked at the price and told them that they had replaced the front rotors and brakes and had said my rear brakes were totally fine, they said "Oh ok, you can wait a little while on the rear brakes and we'll rough up the rotors for you." Fine. Thanks.
Yesterday, I went to a different mechanic to replace the rear brakes for me. He charged me parts ($55). When he took the old brake pads off he showed me them compared to the new brakes and there was practically no difference. The indicator line was still very deep. It was obvious that I did not need new rear brakes. He said
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
was just trying to take me for a ride. When he moved to the left rear brake he showed me that the two long bolts that hold the calipers on were GONE.
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
never put them back after they last serviced my vehicle! He explained to me how dangerous that was.
I wrote corporate office a complaint letter and don't expect anything to be done because I know they will just say that it wasn't their oversight. I will never go back to
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
and I will tell everyone I know to never go to them either.

**UDPATE** I did receive a call from
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
from someone named
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
. He had read the comment I submitted to the
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
office through their website. He was professional and nice on the phone, however, he stated he believed it was all a "misunderstanding". He did not appear to believe that the bolts had not been placed back into the calipers. He told me that if the bolts weren't in the calipers, there's no way I would be driving. I explained that I had been driving the vehicle since they last serviced it and that there did not appear to be any broken parts of bolt in the calipers so it didn't appear that they had just broken off sometime while I was driving. The mechanic who discovered the missing bolts showed me the setup on the wheel and there was enough tension to keep the calipers in position. He explained that this was typical of a Ford. But without the bolts there's a high
Collins Tire Shops Provider Name Locked
that the calipers could've fallen off, but it is still possible to drive (obviously because I had been for a few months!) There was a lot of back and forth and there was no admission of oversight by

. Nothing was resolved but I appreciated the call back.

They made a great recommendation on tires. I've used them a number of times and I'm very happy with their service. Tire rotation is free. It's really very good. For a repair place like that, you don't expect a whole lot but they are very professional, they know what they're doing, they give you alternatives, they don't just try to push something on you, they get the work done very quickly and I'm just very happy with their service. It's A all the way across.

I would recommend them anytime. I've used them several times to get my oil changed and for other business. They are trustworthy. They have the car done when they say they will. They are just good people to work with.

I went to them because all the ones that were listed were not in a very good neighborhood that I felt comfortable going to by myself. They did a good job. I had called them a couple of days before to make an appointment. When I got there, the guy told me that I didn’t tell him that I had an appointment and I told him that I did. It seemed like I was bothering him. They were quick about it once they realized that I had called and made an appointment, but they took, probably, an hour and a half. He said it was only going to take 45 minutes to an hour so it took longer than he said it would. Other than that, they were good. Their price was fair. They are close to my house and they’re pretty fair compared to everybody else in this area.

It was our first time using the company and everything turned out well. The staff was efficient and scheduling the service was easy.
