I like his honesty; I thought I needed a new roof but he showed me I did not need a new roof. Since he put the new vent ceiling caps on everything has been fine. He is a little hard to get hold of but I will use him again in the future.

My thought was that, since we were going to have to repair it, we may as well explore getting a completely new roof (the inspector had told us the year before that it "had a few more years left," but that it was probably 10 years old. I called 2 different companies, and the first gave me a bid of $680 to fix it, but he could not guarantee that it would match perfectly. Thought maybe we should replace the entire roof for $7000.

came, told me that my roof was in great shape (probably only 3 or 4 years old), that we would be crazy to replace it, and that we should transplant some of the shingles from the back (where you can't see them under a tree) to the front in order to assure a perfect match. $225. Wow. And that's exactly what they did and exactly how much it cost. And there is no evidence that any repair took place (unless you look REALLY closely at the back of the house. The only slightly negative

was the fact that it took several days after agreeing on the work for them to contact me.

Get it in writing. The owner lied about decking cost. It is ultimately my fault - but he charged 2 times what he agreed to verbally. Get it in writing from this company or stay away from them. Redneck installers, very unprofessional. I do not recommend this company.

By 6 PM we just decided they weren't going to come-out today. Finally, at 6:50 PM a little blue older mini-van drives onto our well-groomed front lawn, and

and 1 female. Most notable was the driver; extremely thin and sickly looking eyes that were so red that I question his soberness. The female approaches me with a clipboard and a computer-generated paper with our name on it. She informs me they are representing

and here to measure the roof. I asked the driver where they had been, that it was almost dark, and that they were scheduled for 4 PM. He appeared confused and looked to the female. It was then I discovered that the female was the only individual of the three that spoke English. I told her it was too late, that they had missed their appointment time, didn't have the courtesy to even call me. I told her I wanted the three of them to leave and not return.

Called provider for an estimate. Provider gave an estimate based on the insurance paperwork. Provider seemed forthright. Provider maintained communication with me until job was completed, so that I was always aware of what was going on. Right before the job was completed, provider stated that they were short of materials, and that it would cost an additional (approx.) $900 to purchase and finish the job, and asked to review the insurance paperwork - I had previously verbally given the provider the information off of the insurance paperwork based on the provider's instructions. This time, the provider read the insurance paperwork themselves, and confirmed that they had not been given all of the information needed to complete the job. We gave permission to the provider to complete the job, and paid the additional $900 upon completion. I was in and out of town during this entire process - provider patiently dealt w/ and accommodated my absence. After completion of the work, but before the provider had been paid the final $900, someone stopped by and mentioned that the tubing that goes from the hot water heater in the attic through the roof to the outside was not in place and that it would cause a backup of carbon monoxide in the house which was potentially deadly. We mentioned this to the provider when they came to receive the final payment from us, and they said that they would send someone to fix it. We also asked about air conditioning repair, and they said that they knew someone who could do that, and would have them call us. We never heard from the provider again. I gave them a "Good" rating in all categories but "Quality" and "Responsiveness" because their estimates matched other estimates we received, their final price was no higher than what others paid for similar services, their work looked the same as others' work in the neighborhood, and we had no issues with punctuality or professionalism from their workers; however, I gave them a "Fair" rating in "Quality" and a "Bad" rating in "Responsiveness" because they failed to respond to what I was told could be a potentially deadly situation as a direct result of their workmanship, and it would seem that no quality control was done on their part to ensure that the job had been done completely and accurately. I did not attempt to contact provider again because I discovered that the hot water venting issue was an easy fix after climbing into the attic to check it out for myself.

The roof, gutters, down spouts, awning and air conditioner unit were damaged by a hail storm. State Farm Insurance gave me an estimate of what they would pay for the repairs.
Clinton Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
agreed to do the total repairs as per the State Farm estimate. He said he would do the roof repairs right away and come back in two weeks with an experienced gutter crew to do the rest of the repairs. I agreed to pay for the roof repairs when that part was complete. That was five weeks ago. I didn't know when they are coming back to finish the job as promised. They didn't answer phone calls or e-mails.

came out and gave us the appraisal. His crew was very cheerful and helpful, when needed. They made sure we were satisfied with the work before asking for payment. They have also been willing to help with a small matter with our insurance.

My roofing experience with
Clinton Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
out of
Clinton Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
, TN was a homeowners nightmare. The salesmen for
Clinton Roofing Contractors Provider Name Locked
was dishonest concerning the evaluation and scope of the roofing job from the beginning and attempted to destroy documents provided by my insurance company in my presence. After the roof was completed and problems with the roof were discovered, it became difficult to contact the project supervisors to correct the problems. Singles were improperly cut and trimmed during the project and multiple nails protruded the trim of the house. The supervisor named

was rude to me and my wife and the roofing job required two days to complete as a result of ordering fewer roofing supplies than needed. In addition,

Roofing painted over existing vents on the roof that should have been replaced according to the scope of the contract. This company is owned by two individuals and one of the owners named

Very quick on estimates with good pricing. They were able to get everything replaced and cleaned up in a day and a half. Only had to wait a few days before they were able to get a crew out to replace the roof.

I used these guys because my roof suffered a lot of damage after the bad hail storm we had last week. I called them on Monday and a guy was able to come out and do an estimate the same day. He was really professional and actually got up on my roof himself, investigating the damage. He spent a lot of time with me, making sure that I understood exactly what was going on. His crew came out the next morning and they were professional and CLEAN. They didn't throw any trash or nails all over my lawn which is a huge plus for me. They did a great, fast job on my roof and I would definitely use them again.
