Internal Medicine reviews in Aberdeen
My Primary Care Physician, Dr. I have had no hospitalizations since he agreed to take me on as a very complex patient. *** Before I give specifics on Dr.
I was highly impressed with his assessment and clinical skills, as well as his demeanor. As we were leaving I asked him if he would consider taking me on as a " highly complex patient". He agreed, and has been the Very Best PCP / Internist that I have ever had. I have worked with uncountable
In conclusion, I can state both clinically as an RN, and from the patient perspective that Dr.
The staff was friendly enough for a busy office. The office itself could use some paint and new carpet, but that seems to be the case in most PCP offices these days.
I had switched doctor groups and so I was put through all the tests - ultra sound, the scans, the treadmill, bone density test, got a colonoscopy, mammogram, plus a breast ultra sound (these last 3 at WP Medical Center (WP Hospital); and at the end f/u visit ( my 60's so they really wanted to do a full-scope physical touching all the bases. At the end, it cost me a little out of pocket ($300 for colonoscopy at the WP Medical Center). But they followed up with a call and also I had a f/u with the doctor 10 days later. I think this medical group is very thorough (if you can get through it all!). But I'm well pleased with how I was treated and the outcome. They have a patient portal where you can ask doctors questions and renew refills -- a great site. You can also view your test results on the portal under your account. And, of course, the doctors can review all your records up-to-date. It's a great system. Also the support staff are very helpful and professional. Just 2 areas that could improve. The wait time for my GP was always 1/2 hour and more inside the room (I remembered to bring a book with me after the first time). The second is the billing which is a bit askew. Two months later you'll get an additional bill for $20 for lab fees or something.
