" I attended the second appointment with Dr
for the back conditions that my daughter was diagnosed with. At the first he recommended" physical therapy to strengthen her core, which we did for approximately 8 weeks. The physical therapist also said that her hips were weak, which could impact the core movement and back pain, so he worked on that too. Her back improved slightly, but that was the prediction from Dr
. When I informed him of what the physical therapist had said and what he was working on, Dr
actually laughed audibly at me and said, "Okaaayy?" The student working with him actually got wide eyed and seemed to acknowledge that his behavior was out of line. I was stunned silent and did not know what to say. He proceeded with the appointment and left the room to return after x-rays were taken. When he left the room, my daughter asked me why he laughed at me, to which I responded, "I'm not sure but it certainly was not very respectful." Upon his return, I decided I would bypass the disrespect and get as much information about my daughter's back as possible, knowing that I would not be returning. He gave us big words and details that obviously mean nothing to the average person, and then asked me if I had questions. My response was, "No, not at this time." When he asked my daughter if she had questions, she responded, "Yeah. Why did you laugh at my mom?" He kind of smirked and said, "I didn't laugh at your mom," and discounted what she had asked. I just put my hand on my daughter's knee signaling her to let it go, which she did. We left the appointment knowing that we would not be returning, despite his vast knowledge of orthopedics. This was unfortunately not the only experience like this with Dr
, however. My oldest daughter was also under his care for scoliosis years back and he was the same brief, egotistical self at that time. We only returned to him on the recommendation of our primary care physician and the fact that he is knowledgeable. I actually put his 'importance' ahead of my daughter's instinct about him - I will not make that mistake again. He was sure to list off all of the 'well-known' people he had fixed over the years and said he could put us in touch with one of them to ask questions, which we declined. I have no doubt that Dr
is a competent and knowledgeable doctor and that his technical skills are probably good, but his 'bedside' manner in this case left very much to be desired. I cannot have faith in a doctor who audibly laughs at a parent and belittles them, especially in front of their daughter. Although I left without any type of anger or incident, I thought I needed to make people aware of what had happened. My daughter's back issues are probably on the 'mild' side (as he put it) of things that he 'normally' deals with, but she is a person whom I love dearly and want the best for despite what he sees in his office. Maybe if your orthopedic issues are extreme or 'less mild' he might seem like a savior, but in this case, all it turned out to be was a high priced consultation which left me feeling stunned. If you are looking for a competent doctor whom will belittle you in front of your child, and one whom will be sure to point out that you are not an orthopedic doctor, he is the one for you. My family, however, will be searching for other competent doctors whom actually respect people.

"They are credible and know what they are doing. They seem to specialize in children's sports injuries and knowledgeable about the healing and rehabilitation" process. They have a very good bedside manner with the patients. The staff is very good and knowledgeable as well. They have multiple locations in town which is helpful.

Overall, everything was excellent. He is really good with kids and I would highly recommend him. We have had six breaks in our family and he has handled them all really well.

Office was easy to schedule with. Staff was friendly until we met with the "doctor." Billing ... they billed us about $45 MORE than quoted amount for the exact visit requested. Nothing was done except a look over for the
Warrensburg Pediatric Sports Medicine Doctors Provider Name Locked
: no labs, shots, or anything else. We were cash customers, so this really irritated us, especially since we had to redo the appointment with another provider, which was $70 less for the same exact appointment.

... HORRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER AND SELF-SUPERIOR ATTITUDE!!!!!!!!! Absolutely NOT the practice you want to use if you want to use a non-traditional (prolonged, delayed, or skipped) immunization regardless of your reasons why. They will NOT see a child that is not up-to-date on CDC-recommended immunizations. If you're a person who will want the doctor to do all the thinking when it comes to your child's health, then this might be the perfect place for you. It's "pleasant" in plastic sort of way ... until you aren't an ideal patient/parent. CARE of patients and communication about concern ... NON-EXISTENT in

. Other doctors in the practice might be better, but I'd always be leery of her presence. She called Child Protective Services on us 13 days after our visit because we hadn't scheduled a follow-up appointment with her. She never once called to ask why. (We really hated her, and had already scheduled another 2-month check up with another pediatrician.) The full details are in another review of her specifically.

I called
Warrensburg Pediatric Sports Medicine Doctors Provider Name Locked
and set up a meeting for my 10 year old daughter. She has a pretty busy life for a 10 year old and I thought better to be safe than sorry. She had a good deal for an initial exam. I set up the appointment and my daughter felt very relaxed the whole time. The exam didn't take too long. within a week I had the results and was surprised what I learned. It was pretty amazing since I have never seen a chiropractor.

He's very knowledgeable and personable. He's easy to talk to and didn't talk down to my kids. Some pediatricians just talk to the parents in the room, but Dr.

talked to my children too.

My son injured his index finger playing in an 8 pm baseball game and it was extremely swollen. The clinic was open until 11pm; we arrived at 10:30pm and they were not busy and saw us immediately. They x-rayed his finger, gave him some ibuprofen for pain and splinted it. The PCP on call suspected that it was possibly a growth plate fracture. However the radiologist was not there and came in the next day at 5pm and called us. It fortunately was not a fracture, just a severe contusion. I was charged my $30 copay at the time of the visit by the nurse. No one was in the front office. My only complaint was that I was not made aware that there would be further charges and there was a $45 bill that followed a few weeks later.

Highly qualified, friendly and efficient staff focuses on your specific problem. Treatment starts from less to more difficult - very gradually. There is no waiting. Staff is continuously moving around patients. They are number 2 Physical Therapy location in this area. (They are still looking for the # 1)
