& Stone handled every aspect of the counter top install for us. They helped us with selection of the material, the specific blocks, the type of
and arranged for us to meet with the supplier for the sink and faucet. Their patience with our questions and numerous visits was greatly appreciated. When they came to measure for the install, they explained the whole process and the end result is simply superb. They even took the time to explain how to keep the quartz counter tops clean and beautiful.

After having difficulty with another granite fabricator (see my other reviews), on
1 I stopped into
to see if they could help install a granite countertop as soon as possible. They couldn't have been nicer - after a couple of phone calls and discussion on granite choice, they agreed to come out later that afternoon to template and come back in two days with the new countertop and stainless steel kitchen sink. Everything was perfect and as promised. Installers were great - fast, professional, and kept a neat work area, taking care with the newly installed hardwood floors. I would return here again in a minute. Others may talk a good game, but these guys delivered exactly what they said they would and did it when they promised. Highly recommended.

Outstanding, workmanship is noticeable better than other granite work I have seen.

custom fabricated a granite surround to mount over a whirlpool tub. Three other granite companies said it could not be done.
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
worked at it and made a top that not only looks super elegant, but looks like it was designed that way. He took a cheap builders grade bathroom and made it look like a custom showpiece, saving me huge money. No one else even wanted to attempt the job.
His prices are very reasonable for the work. And his skill is a major step above anyone else I have seen. I'm picky and can see seems in our neighbors granite work. I couldn't find a single seem in

's work, thought it was one piece until he showed me where he made his cuts. Pretty amazing work!

Great service. Countertops were scheduled and installed on time. Installation went smoothly. Turnkey removal of old tops and plumbing work was well worth the additional cost. Small plumbing problem after the new tops were installed was resolved in a timely manner.

They measured the master bathroom for the new granite counter top which we picked out - we chose a section on a special piece but when they came to install this counter top it was 10" too short - they had made an error and we then had to use a different section of this piece which wasn't exactly what we wanted but had no choice since there wasn't another piece of granite in this color. They did give us a very nominal discount of only 10% which we thought should have been higher since we didn't get the original piece that was priced much higher than a remnant which this new piece now became.
They did make the new counter top in 1 day and it was installed promptly.
The smaller counter top was installed without any problems.

The
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
were installed in
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
2013 as part of a complete kitchen remodel. Our
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
were too long to have a solid slice, so the slab was cut into a few pieces. In December when the weather turned cold and dry, our kitchen counters shifted (contracted as the moisture left?), so now there is a small level difference between the granite in the garden window and the rest of the countertop around the kitchen sink.
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
, along with our contractor and designer, all showed up to examine the problem, but after 6 months, nothing has been done to correct the problem. After the fact,
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
said the garden window portion should never have been a separate piece, because new cabinets shrinking in dry weather is not uncommon. Given this information, why did they not raise the alarm before the granite was cut? Now, every time I do the dishes, I see the 1/8-inch shift between the sink and window pieces. They gave lip service to finding a matching piece and replacing it, but after a few lame attempts, nothing. I am very dissatisfied with the countertop installation and highly recommend avoiding this company.

Selected Eastern because of reviews on Angie's List. They were available at their store for design and estimate the first day I contacted them. Very quick and creative design. Pricing of cabinets was good. For the granite you go to the granite yard (very close) and select the granite. Eastern provides a quote after that unless you pick what they have in a limited stock.
There are two reasons I did not select Eastern for my project. First, their estimate for granite square footage was twice the square footage anyone else was quoting. To be fair, I did not get the point of having Eastern come out to do exact measurement. However, the four other companies I had quote this project without a site visit came up with exactly 50% less granite than Eastern was quoting. Eastern explained that they had to quote by the full slab. The other companies I had quote did business the same way. These independent companies need to purchase entire slabs so even if all the square feet aren't needed, you'll be paying for the cost of the granite material but not the fabricating/installation. That extra 50% quoted by Eastern really ran the price up. Now that the project is in the final stages, the actual granite came to the exact square footage that everyone else had quoted. To be fair, Eastern may have reduced the estimate after an onsite measure, but I've done this several times before and just wasn't comfortable with such a high estimate.
My other issue was I could not get information about where the cabinets were manufactured. Lower priced, all wood cabinets tend to come from China. Personally I have an issue purchasing product not made in the US if there is a reasonable alternative. During my purchasing process, I discovered a company that actually manufactures in Rockledge. This is not a Mom & Pop business; this a a national supplier. Also, found several other companies that only sell made in the US cabinets. All were in the same price range as Eastern. Since I discovered that I could get a well priced, American made cabinet, I decided to go with a competitor.
It's interesting shopping for cabinets in this area when you use Angie's List. There are a lot of high quality, very reasonably priced companies that aren't listed. Turns out, the small businesses in this area aren't willing to pay the price to be on Angie's List.
I suggest if you're in the
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
for a kitchen makeover, to do a google

of cabinets in

county; also the same thing for granite. Wow, there are some really good granite fabricators in this area at very reasonable prices. Also, the granite supplier in
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
has a world class collection of granite, as well as, every stone product out there. By skipping Angie's List, and doing a little bit of research, you can find some really high quality low priced cabinets and great countertops using local businesses.
Eastern is doing a really good job for a reasonable price for people that want a one stop shop and want the comfort that an Angie's List review provides. However, there are a lot more similar resources out there with the same price and quality but just aren't willing to play the Angie's List game. By investing just a little of your time, you could have your entire kitchen, from manufacturing to installation, all done right here in
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and keep the dollars and jobs here. (Of course the granite isn't quarried here........LOL).

was fantastic to work with, and their prices were comparable (not more) than other fabricators. They had a great selection of granite and marble and
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
was extremely helpful in showing us pieces that would work with our tile and paint. Once the contract was signed the work was done promptly and perfectly. Even when a couple of unexpected things came up,
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
and the
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
installers figured out solutions that worked very well. For example, it turned out the depth of the counter was not standard but was smaller than expected, so
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
located a sink that was a little smaller and would work in the space. Because the depth was small, the backsplash pieces had to be cut in half width-wise, which was another solution that allowed us to keep the backsplash pieces and also to fit the faucet into the space available, which was also narrower that expected. The overall look and quality of the job was superior, we are delighted with the way it turned out. We would certainly go to
St Louis Countertop Installers Provider Name Locked
in the future for any stone fabrication that we need done.
